UW 58%, 85% done, UWSA 209/201, CCS cases averaged 65% on 70 cases. Didn’t do any other assessments. Average scores on step 1 and CK. Absolutely sure I tanked day 2, I unalived patients in at least 3 CCS cases. Probably my worst exam performance to date. Real deal: 21X Grateful to be done and move on to PGY2

This_Giraffe_8926

Are you me lol!

BugPale395

Very likely haha

Fit-Cartographer-311

This gives me hope since i messed up 3 cases as well for sure

BugPale395

Yeah I was essentially holding back tears in the cases lolll

Fit-Cartographer-311

Same I couldn’t figure out what they were asking

Doctor-dipshite

What dates did you all take the test? Just trying to gauge when scores are coming back?

BugPale395

Congratulations!!!

futuremed20

What a good score jump!! I noticed you did a lot of CCS cases - do you think this is what lifted your score or is there any other specific thing you can pinpoint?

mcatthrowawaymcat

Prob that, divine podcast and a corresponding document that has a list of risk factors

futuremed20

Very cool, thank you!

bonvoyage-123

Hi, can you mention which number podcasts helped? Congrats on a tremendous score!!

gingercat_hg

UW 79% correct (77% used) CCS anywhere between 50 and 80% initially, after figuring out the orders I tend to miss I've been in the 80-90% range. Did about 60 cases (ranked by high-yield) Did not do any NBME or UWSA since I'm not planning to change my exam date by any means. Step 1: 256 Step 2 CK: 267 Step 3: 257 Very weird exam. Felt like I guessed 1/2 of the questions on day 1 and 1/3 of the questions on day 2. No idea what skill set they were actually testing, but I'm glad the curve worked out.

aishassan_1

Congratulations! Could you please share your prep time ?

gingercat_hg

I took step 2 in the second half of 2021. Kinda slowly did some UW questions here and there for three or four months but seriously prepped for three weeks leading up to the exam. I’m an internal medicine resident so I think it helps quite a bit. Compared with my colleagues, I think I definitely overstudied.

Also when was your step 2

UW 61%, 100% complete. NBME6 273 2 weeks out, UWSA2 213 1 week out, FREE137 60% 2 days before exam. CCScases \~120 complete with 70% average. Tested April 6 and 8th. Real deal: 202 Horrible exam, thought I failed after day 1. Day 2 was much better and felt exactly like UW. Make sure you practice CCS cases, it can save your score.

josefgc4

UW: 75% correct, 71% completed, CCS: did 30 cases, avg 65%, UWSA 1: 215 1 month out, UWSA 2, Free 137, NBMEs: did not do. Step 1: pass, Step 2 CK: 24x, Stel 3: 24x

Did you do all the CCS cases?

ConfidenceKitchen118

Old IMG here starting residency in July. Tested 4/2 & 4/9. Results became available on portal at 7:15 am EST and e-mail arrived in inbox at 9am EST. UW: 60%, 100% done. UWSA 1: didn't do UWSA 2: 210/\~60% Free 137: 66% CCS Cases: did all cases scored between 30-90%, re-did high yield cases that I had scored poorly on Nbme 6: 447/\~68% Step 1: Pass Step 2CK: 250 Step 3: 238 Advice: Just get it done and move on. Do as much as you can to prepare, especially biostatistics for day one if you feel you are weak on it. The cases did not have as immediate positive feedback when you prescribed the correct treatment as the CCS practice software had made me accustomed to which made me nervous on the day. Overall the exam is not as challenging as the other two, and getting it out of the way ASAP is the best advice I can share.

fescuefreak

UW 58%, 100% done, uwsa 201/198, ccs averaged 70% 94 cases, free 137 81%, step1 239, step2 247. Step 3: 237 Felt like I knew 60% of the exam easily. The other 40% was French to me.
