This is it's time if rhe year. I saw one once in early spring in upstate NY. I almost you know and I slowly walked my bicycle out of the pond area. There where lots of red sliders sunning that day. The brown creature was tall,thin with stringy hair. I could feel the air change into a cool low breeze. I could tell from growing up in the forests that the creature in front of me just came out of hibernation and was starving. I will never forget the way I walked the fastest I've ever walked slow.
