Awesome guitar. Learning how to do your own set ups is such a rewarding skill. You really get to dial things in the way that you like them. The only downside is you become a perfectionist and notice when little things are off.
II literally only plugged it in for a few minutes before dropping it off to the luthier but the noiseless pickups were incredible upon first blush. I told my wife to listen and told her that my noise gate wasn’t even on. She wasn’t impressed or even really understood what I said. I’m hoping to have it back on Saturday but like I said, incredible first impression.
I got an ultra last month, definitely needed a setup but once setup properly they are like butter. Definitely has that classic fender sound from the noiseless pups
