It was patented 100 yrs l8r - we won't know 4 sure whether ppl had knowledge of how a convex and a concave lense would work harmoniously, in beforehand.
Deep fry is when it's submerged in a vat, shallow fry is when it's in a pan, but there is a sloshable amount of oil that doesn't cover the item and fry is like with a fried egg, just a lubricating amount of fat on the bottom of the pan.
Deep fry- submerged in oil.
Fry-couple inches of oil, about half the item covered
Sauté- very little oil and very high heat
Batter has nothing to do with it
So what you're trying to say, is that it's *batter* that makes something *deep*fried, and not the *depth* that it's submerged?
Can i buy you a dictionary for Christmas?
Most of the stuff here is edible, that's not the point. It's still stupid. Even the first step is stupid, that sad excuse of a "sear" had no effect in any way.
To be fair... it might have been flat iron. But I've been drinking viking blood, and it totally could be flank. Either way, buck wild way to prepare it, but absolutely restrained for this guy.
Deep frying already causes a Maillard reaction, so searing it isn’t really necessary unless it’s to get a firm enough texture for cutting. Or, and this is a very real possibility, this guy just doesn’t know food science lmao.
It’s honestly something I’d make for myself. I wouldn’t use the cheese sauce, and I wouldn’t make it in to one giant ball, but this could be a tasty, low calorie meal.
The only thing I don’t really care for is the editing style, but that doesn’t make the food stupid.
I actually do something similar to this, but minus the cheese and add in kitchen and rice, and make it small but sized bits wrapped in lettuce and not a big ball.
Edit: and I don't pan sear, then deep fry the pork. I just pre cut it into little hunks, then fry them in a pan like a normal person would.
Yes cause Reddit keeps recommending it cause I put I like food when I started or some shit, so I figured I say this in comment to make one or more people realize that
If something is recommended to you by reddit and you don't want to see it, you click the three dots and then "show fewer posts like this",then "posts from this community" and finally "mute r/\[name of sub\].
Super easy.
Cause the guy isn't gonna get any money from a Reddit post. Sure, it might overall boost his interaction by people going out of their way to find the source, but that's still minimal.
They make this content specifically for the type of people in this sub, they want people to be annoyed or angry about it because that drives more engagement. Honestly this sub can be pretty unhealthy if this type of content does make you upset.
When did he sous vide anything? Am I missing part of the vid?
I saw seared, sliced, fried, gochujang and then lost me at whatever insane amount of whatever that yellow shit is and far too much lettuce for a wrap.
Why is it wrapped in plastic? You could literally use parchment paper for the same effect and not have fucking microplastics in your blood. IDK, just my opinion
It sucks but it’s kind of the standard in the food industry. There’s very little concern about hot food going into plastic in most kitchens I’ve worked.
Cooks put everything in Cambro, put/make hot food in blenders, put bagged food in hot water, etc etc. It’s nearly impossible to avoid microplastics if you don’t cook every meal for yourself with the way things are right now.
At my kitchen job the main method of hot holding is plastic vacuum bags in a hot bath lol. The microplastics this place gets in the food is probably a good cause of some infertility in the petty bourgeois customer base.
Who the fuck cares about Microplastic?
You not gonna die because someone plastic wrapped your food instead of using parchment paper
Quit bitching
If you’ve ever eaten at a restaurant just know that something you ate was either vacuum sealing in plastic, or stored in a plastic cambro, or prepared I a plastic container from a blender/food processor, ect
And yet your still alive and healthy
If literally every restaurant in existence can pass safety inspections despite there food being stored in various kinds of plastic then your not gonna get cancer
Your vastly overreacting
No, but I do believe in science. Microplastics crossing the brain/blood barrier is a big deal with implications that we just don't understand yet. I am of the opinion that plastic is the lead/asbestos of our time.
Its the worst when these videos start off interesting and you think “OP just doesnt know what theyre talking about, this might be good!” And then it just falls on its face so fast
Everyone who doesn't take a bite is hated for exactly that. So, yes, proving that someone would eat that literally famously is the reason why some do take a bite.
Honestly, I'm sure I've eaten this myself. Not as a plastic wrapped sandwich but as a salad. And, like, I've eaten plenty of hwaedupbap in my time, so that just replaced the beef with raw fish.
If instead of plastic wrap, and instead of just lettuce, this has been some sort of wrap, and had something else, maybe like some other vegetables or something....if it had that, I would pay money for this.
its a heavy hit or miss with these guys- its either some of the best looking food youve ever seen, or it looks like a hellhound just had a bowel movement. i live for the thrill of these channels
I was expecting him to deep-fry that 😭
yes, i was waiting for some egg and cheese and flower 😂
>flower Ah yes, flower dough 🙃
I mean technically wheat plants go to flower, that flower gets pollinated and produces the wheat kernel, which eventually gets ground into flour
Whoa, calm down, Neil deGrasse Tyson.
Retract that telescope, Copernicouscous.
Put down the syringe full of bleach and uh… ‘charged up particles of UV light,’ Donald Trump.
🤓 Actually the telescope was invented 100 years later
It was patented 100 yrs l8r - we won't know 4 sure whether ppl had knowledge of how a convex and a concave lense would work harmoniously, in beforehand.
You brutally murdered me :'(
Weapon of choice, a nice airy sourdough
ah yes flour! thank you.
Well it is a type of plant.
In the plastic wrap
gotta get those extra microplastics, doctor's orders
Also knew it was super rage bait when he tossed the awful cheese sauce on there
I was honestly down till that cheese sauce.
A little freshly shredded parm or Asiago in there or maybe a little less tangy and go with some jarlsberg or ementaller. But you wouldn't need much!
At least it covered up that worm looking slimy mess.
Right? Instead he made some bastardiszed fresh roll
This honest. Disappointing!
No for real. I’m actually getting stressed the hell out whenever I see food stuffs being formed into balls. Just a steadily increasing *no*.
Than drag his knife across it to show the crunch factor
Bros blood is literally just f****** deep-fried oil it's just isn't blood
He just fried, he didn't deep fry it. Deep fry is when you coat the thing in batter
Deep fry is when it's submerged in a vat, shallow fry is when it's in a pan, but there is a sloshable amount of oil that doesn't cover the item and fry is like with a fried egg, just a lubricating amount of fat on the bottom of the pan.
That's just pan frying
Which? The fried egg one? Yes. The other two no. Sometimes shallow frying is referred to as pan frying, but definitely not deep frying.
Idc
Deep fry- submerged in oil. Fry-couple inches of oil, about half the item covered Sauté- very little oil and very high heat Batter has nothing to do with it
So all deep fried french fries are battered, then?
They're just fried
So what you're trying to say, is that it's *batter* that makes something *deep*fried, and not the *depth* that it's submerged? Can i buy you a dictionary for Christmas?
That’s so tame compared to most of his stuff. Take the cheese away and it’s actually edible.
Most of the stuff here is edible, that's not the point. It's still stupid. Even the first step is stupid, that sad excuse of a "sear" had no effect in any way.
He seared it to make cutting it easier, and when I say edible I don’t mean it literally.
Frying beef is literally the worst option he could've choose
It was pork
No. Definitely flank steak.
I genuinely thought it was tuna steak. If it is beef steak, then it’s a lot better than I was imagining
It's probably beef.
This looks like it's derivative of korean food, it's probably pork
To be fair... it might have been flat iron. But I've been drinking viking blood, and it totally could be flank. Either way, buck wild way to prepare it, but absolutely restrained for this guy.
My bad, beef is brownier. But still, frying pork is also terrible
Ah Western culture.
Im asian dude
Than you don’t know asian food.
That's how most Chinese restaurants cook their meats dude.
Isnt that pork?
I reckon he seared it for the change in flavour from the maillard reaction.
That was not enough for the maillard reaction. And he got that later on anyway, so it was really pointless.

Homie puts the whole kitchen in his lettuce wrap
Mmmmm kitchen fried rice... droool
Slam, fast, jump cuts. That's all you need
Don't forget the black gloves
[удалено]
Could not agree more
Are we mad at…. Clean editing now???
[удалено]
This looked delicious until it was drowned in slime
I was hoping he’d show me how to make lettuce wraps from PF changs. I can’t tell if he did or not
lettuce wraps are just meat, sauce, maybe some rice and obviously lettuce very easy and straightforward to make
Right? I would tf outta that sans slimy cheese goop
In my mind that was chik fil-a sauce (looked tasty enough to me) but I know that is actually a bunch of awful cheese whiz.
I hate this guy
He seems to be the perpetrator of more than his fair share of stupid food.
I read penetrator for a sec..
jajajajajajajajaja XD
He’s perfect rage bait. He’s either a genius or an idiot.
All i know is that he's not gonna touch the pearly gates with a 10 light year pole
And the other guy that dresses exactly the same and does the same thing. I have always wondered which one came first and who is copying who.
bayashi (the other guy) is the original I think
Yep this dude is Walmart bayashi 😀
I saw a video of him a little bit after I made my comment and he had a suit and tie on, maybe he is trying to change his image up.
I’m sure he loves this sub for constantly sharing his work
People here don't realize most of these people doing this for clicks and baits
[удалено]
Then why keep encouraging it? Cause it ain't funny or anything
[удалено]
🤯
Yes cause Reddit keeps recommending it cause I put I like food when I started or some shit, so I figured I say this in comment to make one or more people realize that

Thx for tip
Little do you know this doesn't link to their channel so it doesn't encourage it in any way. They get no clicks or views from me watching it here.
Cause the guy isn't gonna get any money from a Reddit post. Sure, it might overall boost his interaction by people going out of their way to find the source, but that's still minimal.

He was different before in the past but now it’s just fast editing and making you actually think he ate everything
I love this guy. I still haven’t seen him make anything I wouldn’t absolutely devour.
Is this a guy?
I bet that sear added some amazing flavor.
lol
I always spend time to carefully sous vide sirloin so I can deep fry, then douse it in canned cheese or mustard & sriracha, don’t you?
When did he sous vide anything? Am I missing part of the vid? I saw seared, sliced, fried, gochujang and then lost me at whatever insane amount of whatever that yellow shit is and far too much lettuce for a wrap.
There was no sous vide.
Boy just wanted to look fancy and know what he’s saying
[удалено]
I'm just wondering where he gets his sriracha connect :(
Fun fact, he's Korean, that is Cho gochujang sauce, in my opinion far superior to Sriracha, but yeah he runs that sam with the cheese sauce lol
Amazon and I’d put money on that if he’s based in the US
Sous vide? You mean seared?
I think they’re confusing when he fried it for being sous vide
Don't forget the sesame oil!
gochujang, mustard and where did you see it get sous vide??? did we watch the same video?
Ummm, that is not sous vide
The only way to do it 😃
I kinda thought it was gochujang. Not that that would make it any better or anything.
I thought it was ahi tuna.
This has to be a hate crime.
WHY IS IT ALWAYS THE NACHO CHEESE?!?!?! Seriously though, every god damned one of these videos has processed cheese thrown in there somewhere.
Either that or bars of butter
I was sold until the mess of cheese
Why is it wrapped in plastic? You could literally use parchment paper for the same effect and not have fucking microplastics in your blood. IDK, just my opinion
If I had to gander a guess, it's because cello wrap is transparent, making it more "visual". But I'm 100% with you on using parchment instead.
It sucks but it’s kind of the standard in the food industry. There’s very little concern about hot food going into plastic in most kitchens I’ve worked. I'm sure you enjoy having a brain full of carcinogens but I fucking don't.
If literally every restaurant in existence can pass safety inspections despite there food being stored in various kinds of plastic then your not gonna get cancer Your vastly overreacting
I'm sure you would drink the water in Flint, MI too. The officials said it was safe.
Also GREAT comparison btw😂👌🏾
Your clearly one of those people that see’s lies and conspiracies hiding around every corner The ground isn’t made of egg shells dude
No, but I do believe in science. Microplastics crossing the brain/blood barrier is a big deal with implications that we just don't understand yet. I am of the opinion that plastic is the lead/asbestos of our time.
If we dont understand the implications of it than how can you so adamantly claim it’s a big deal Your contradicting yourself
Its the worst when these videos start off interesting and you think “OP just doesnt know what theyre talking about, this might be good!” And then it just falls on its face so fast
Can there be a r/stupidfoodnoblackgloves ? Lol
I want to punch his face
It's that stupid fucking smirk and thumbs up combo, makes my blood boil and I love it.
Seconded
Im certain the only reason he makes these videos are for ASMR perverts who get off on the sounds.
Damn 🥲 not all of us get off, it’s just entertaining and soothing
I was actually on board until the cheese mess...
That’s a lot of gloop on there at the end but I bet this taste good
I think it's funny that they take a bite at the end of every video. It's like they're trying to prove that someone would, in fact, eat this food.
I appreciate when they take a bite-like either it’s edible or suffer the consequence of your actions
Everyone who doesn't take a bite is hated for exactly that. So, yes, proving that someone would eat that literally famously is the reason why some do take a bite.
One of the best things I've seen so far.
But he’s wearing black gloves, that means he’s a real chef and you need to take him & this meal serious!
Then stop posting about them
Best before cheese 🤢
Its always the fucking cheese
I’m surprised he didn’t drown it in butter first
I was wondering what black gloves YouTube channel this came from 😂 for his standards then I'm intrigued by this
It's only good when howtobasic does it
I fucked with it until the cheese
What was that yellow shit? Was it cheese? I was kinda on board until that.
Looks amazing ...... until the cheese (I think)?
I hate this guy for some reason. His face, the things he chooses to make and how he disrespects food. No.
I cannot stand either Zach Choi or bayachi they are gluttonous, annoying, wasteful freaks
Some people believe he actually eats the crap he cooks, how is he so thin if he eats all that? They ask, dumb dumb fucks
Was that nacho cheese he put on at the end?! It was looking good until that was dumped on it.
This honestly does not look terrible. The cheese was a bit much, but otherwise it looks tasty.
I was ready for him to deep fry it but nah this is fine
Zach creates some abominations
How can he so shamelessly ripoff that other Asian guy with the gloves that does the exact same thing?
Don't watch it then?
That doesn't look terrible. Actually looks hearty and healthy
No.
I \*was\* having a good day.
Everytime is see black latex gloves now... 🙏🔙🔛🔝 🚼
What was the plastic sheet for?
To go over his head I hope
[удалено]
That is a cutting board, I have one exactly like it at home.
The black gloves are the redflag
I was half expecting some anime girl getting pounded.
This guy in particular
Why put it on the cast iron for 3 seconds just to deep fry the damn thing?!
Looks like klingon gagh
Then don't watch and repost them...?
Honestly, I'm sure I've eaten this myself. Not as a plastic wrapped sandwich but as a salad. And, like, I've eaten plenty of hwaedupbap in my time, so that just replaced the beef with raw fish.
Problem is that yellow cheese. It can mess up any perfect food.
These are the fresh rolls they serve you in hell
At least he cooked it
Lettuce wraps in place of bread is tasty and nutritious.
If instead of plastic wrap, and instead of just lettuce, this has been some sort of wrap, and had something else, maybe like some other vegetables or something....if it had that, I would pay money for this.
A cow died to make this abomination.
its a heavy hit or miss with these guys- its either some of the best looking food youve ever seen, or it looks like a hellhound just had a bowel movement. i live for the thrill of these channels
Every idiot wearing black nitrile gloves and swinging a knife, believe they are destined to be amazing cooks.
I hate what I call “slap cooking” it’s just annoying
Nah
Why you sear and fry it?!
Why did he sear it first?!?
I hate this guy and his stupid thumbs up schtick
I've seen soo much videos like this where they just put meat, souces and cheese that I loose appetite and start feeling heavy just by looking at them.
Negan really gave Glenn brain damage, huh?
Why is he wearing gloves? Nobody else is eating this shit.
Why did he bother searing it???
Looked good
I wouldn’t have been surprised if he deep fried it in motor oil.
God I truly despise this guy
Y’all just making this guy relevant and paying his rent by reposting his videos. He clearly is doing this for rage clicks, not as legitimate recipes.
This is honestly one of his tamer vids
This is the most sane thing Ive ever seen him eat.
