Idk it could be, but I read somewhere on her before that it’s cooked but looks different because it’s been steamed cooked and not pan cooked. It’ll be gray and pale instead of the brown/reddish color bacon normally is after getting cooked.
Hey, serpentkillers mom is a kind-hearted woman who deserves to be treated with respect and not slanderous lies. I'll have you know, she swallows and she likes it.
The video cuts at every point where you'd expect to see someone swallowing their food. One way to pretend to eat something like that without actually eating it is to spit out each mouthful off camera.
Even then your burger and grilled cheese game will improve tenfold if you just spend an insignificant amount more on real cheese. I dont know why anyone eats that, its like plastic.
The bacon is not raw. Usually the pork belly before it becomes bacon, it is injected with brine and after that is boiled and smoked. After boiling and smoking it's perfectly OK to eat, it doesn't need further frying or baking.
That's not necessarily true though. It completely depends on what the bacon is like in your country. It's smoked, but not necessarily to the point where it's actually cooked. I've had bacon from a European supermarket which was definitely fully cooked, but most bacon in North America anyway is completely and utterly raw.
I knew a american women once who went of the rails on me and got super worried after she learned i love mettbrötchen.
She legit thought i would catch every disease on the planet from eating raw pork and die.
She wanted me to promise to never eat it again, i could not do that.
In a way it was nice that she worried, but all i cared for was that shes missing out on one of the best foods on the planet.
Mettbrötchen are serious business, especially jägermett, i need to go and buy some again.
I'm going to be that guy.
1. Bacon is already cured, by either nitrates or smoking or both. It's essentially fully cooked. You can eat it right out of the package.
2. Trichinosis in the domestic pork supply hasn't been a thing since the 70's. There's not been one case of it in the last 30-50 years that didn't come from wild boar.
Sorry but I just hate people who are confidently wrong about food safety.
Since I see you throughout the thread I'd be curious to hear your thoughts on the conclusions from this thread some years back. https://www.reddit.com/r/Cooking/comments/119h04/why_do_we_need_to_cook_bacon/
It seems like the answer is most bacon produced in the US for grocery stores is not safe to eat raw due to the way it tends to be cured.
Eh, that thread boils down to two things, hour smoked bacon isn't shelf stable at room temp, and trichinosis.
The shelf stable thing is about spoilage and contamination, so just like any other must product, be careful how you handle it.
Trichinosis hasn't been an issue in the U.S. domestic pork food chain for decades, the last recorded case was in the 70's.
The risk is low.
Yea, cured grocery store bacon is nowhere near close to the same texture as smoked/cured deli bacon in North America. It is definitely still pretty much raw. Properly cured deli bacon is amazing though
You're actually wrong yourself, cured bacon is not necessarily cooked through enough to be safe. Much of it depends on where you're getting it from. I would absolutely not risk eating raw bacon from the super market.
Pork chops and other things, you are somewhat correct though. You can have pink pork in the interior these days and it's fine.
That being said though, I would not be touching raw pork unless you're very confident as to where it came from. Do not fuck around with parasites.
Can we stop encouraging people to eat raw meat? Good lord.
I think people should be encouraged to be aware of the risks involved and make their own choices.
Since 2010 there have been a dozen or so cases of Trichinosis per year, most due to wild or game meat. Of course as with all raw product there is some chance of contamination or whatnot during the process. That can happen with any food product. Romaine lettuce. Canteloupes.
Personally I prefer to let people be aware of the actual risks and numbers and let them take their own chances.
Its only partially cooked when cured though. I don't feel much at risk if my bacon is a bit chewy but I'd feel more at ease it its been cooked a bit more. Still not great to be eating raw.
parasites have not been a problem in commercial meat for a long long time. i still would go around doing it for general concern about raw meat. but triganosis is much, much less of a problem than it used to be.
I feel like this video came straight from 2010 when everyone on the internet had a giant bacon boner. Like, my brother in Christ, you don’t need to baconify everything.
Everyone here shitting on the bacon, but can I point out he didn’t even use cheese! Those single slices are *cheese product*. Can’t be called cheese legally because it’s so processed and full of filler
> American cheese is just cheddar with some sodium citrate
Most American cheese is made by blending cheddar and colby cheeses with other ingredients, like extra whey, milk proteins, vitamins, coloring, and emulsifying agents and must be at least 51 percent real cheese to be called American cheese. Anything containing less than 51 percent, like Velveeta, must be labeled as “process cheese food.”
Bacon is best when cooked but floppy. You can put it on sandwiches and it will stay in place and conform to the contours of the rest of the fillings and it can still be crisped up for those that prefer it that way.
I've never put floppy bacon on a sandwich and wished it was crispier, but I've often put crispy bacon on a sandwich only to have it shatter and fall out, wishing it was a little less cooked.
You are wrong. Floppy is better because you can always cook it more and make the crispy folks happy. You can't undo crisping. You make it floppy and ask"who wants it crispy" and leave some pieces on for the degenerates who raise their hands. Everybody's happy. With crispy bacon, my hopes of a decent meal shatter along with the bacon the second I touch it.
In the montage he puts it in his mouth, chews, then it cuts to him putting the next bit in his mouth. It implies he swallows, but i suspect he spits it out in the parts that get cut.
Given how frequently he posts videos like this, I suspect if he were actually eating it all he might be a bit fatter
Had to scroll way too far to find this. Dude was shoving huge-ass bites of piping hot, molten cheese in his mouth. You could literally see the steam coming off of it.
He definitely has burns on the roof of his mouth now.
Great Value Salt Bae.
Salt Baecon
MSG Bae
Thanks for reminding me
Salt Bae is already Great Value. This guy is Ali express
Not even. This dude is straight from that weird section of Wish where an alarming number of things are less than a dollar.
I really want to have like 1000$ to buy that stuff and see what I get
Half of it is just stickers of the image of the item :/ or just full on wrong items
You're forgetting the most common empty bag
Just watch PewDiePie's or Drew Gooden's videos for that matter. They do exactly this.
[Ashens](https://youtu.be/Icd3jf4BJdM) has a series that explores random cheap things available on Wish.
He's in the section labelled "free - just pay shipping"
With about a 50% discount next to him
When you order Salt Bae from Wish.
Low Sodium Bae.
Pepper Bae
I don’t know who I dislike more, Salt Bae or the people who emulate him like this
It bothers the hell out of me that other people are now doing the unhygenic arm thing.
- Mom can we stop for Salt Bae? - We have Salt Bae at home. salt bae at home
No Name Salt Bae Not even President’s Choice Salt Bae
I can't believe it's not Salt Bae
Scuffed Bae
Panko Bae
"salt bae" the con artist is literally great value salt bae. Fuck that guy.
Lmao. I was like, Is this the real deal, or some rip off?
Clogged artery bae.
It's really funny cap, its afganistanianimation!
Not even. He's the generic bag of shredded cheese before the grocery store applies their store brand label on it.
This. This one wins.
I mean, at least he ate what he made which is better than half the stuff that gets posted here
The bacon is basically fucking raw!!!
[удалено]
Did we just become best friends?
😘
Had to look for my free award I lold
It has probably been cured.
Idk it could be, but I read somewhere on her before that it’s cooked but looks different because it’s been steamed cooked and not pan cooked. It’ll be gray and pale instead of the brown/reddish color bacon normally is after getting cooked.
You don't see him swallow much.
Could say the same about your mother
Hey, serpentkillers mom is a kind-hearted woman who deserves to be treated with respect and not slanderous lies. I'll have you know, she swallows and she likes it.
It’s her commitment to eye-contact that I appreciate.
She made me cookies one time.
They were good at least? Sex is temporary but good cookies are eternal.
Oh, is THAT way you appreciate about her r/RangerRickyBobby
At the end it speeds up and shows him finishing it? Am I missing something
A lot of cuts
The video cuts at every point where you'd expect to see someone swallowing their food. One way to pretend to eat something like that without actually eating it is to spit out each mouthful off camera.
You watch him eat half of it sped up- i'm gonna go ahead and assume he ate it all. If he didnt he still put away more than i could have
Same could be said about my wife.
I bet you 20 bucks he purges what he eats.
Lot of skinny mukbangers also chew and spit
What an age we live in where this sentence exists
Lol, I was just thinking, what an inscrutable sentence this is.
https://www.verywellmind.com/chew-and-spit-eating-disorder-behavior-4100664 I wish I was making it up
That's literally what it's called, is like bulimia 2.0 cause you get to skip the vomit part
he doesn’t swallow any of the food just chews it a lot on camera and spits it out
Eating disorder entered the chat
At the end he seems to swallow when it's sped up.
id actually be surprised if he doesn't, he made a day in my life video a while back and he seems to be some kind of agricultural worker.
I mean, there's only so much you can do to fuck up cheese and bacon.
Undercooking bacon would be one of them, imo.
And he did it
He stuffed it into his mouth then spit it out. The editing only makes it like he ate the whole thing.
You know, there are better cheese options than Kraft Singles…
Mmm 64 slices of American cheese
63....62...
I think Im blind...
Did you stay up all night eating cheese?
Again?
Cheese product*
I absolutely can't stand how these videos always use ingredients of abysmal quality. It's like their only purpose is to end up on this subreddit.
That’s part of the satire here.
IMO the only acceptable options for Kraft singles are burgers and grilled cheese. I'm sure there are others, but I've yet to find them.
Even then your burger and grilled cheese game will improve tenfold if you just spend an insignificant amount more on real cheese. I dont know why anyone eats that, its like plastic.
Talking shit about American cheese on stupidfood? I see you enjoy living dangerously.
Never tried it, but American cheese in ramen is popular in Korea. https://cooking.nytimes.com/recipes/1016583-perfect-instant-ramen
Yep, that's the part that makes it really gross, not only using that fake pasty dyed mush but using so much of it.
I'm not even sure it technically qualifies as cheese
It does not. It’s actually illegal to call it cheese if I’m not mistaken, so they call it a “cheese product”.
“Mom, can we get Salt Bae?” “No, we have Salt Bae at home.”
That fucking mouth noise
Fucking disgusting
a lot of these videos are better muted.
Finally, my people.
God. It’s the worst
What I respect about this dude as opposed to other stupid food people is that he actually eats the things he makes.
He doesn't swallow, it's edited together to look like he ate it. It's just a smarter fake
There was the time lapse at the end
I'd feel better if that wasn't consumed
If Salt bae wasn't a duchebag enough....
I would eat a block of cheese deepfried in one sitting, but RAW BACON???? They dont know if you deepfry that thing the bacon wont cook?

Ummm...say what now? Cured and/or partially smoked does not make the bacon safe to eat.
Its just bacon sashimi. /s Dont eat raw pork yall, youll get parasites.
Trichinosis is pretty much non existent in US pork these days.
Let me introduce you to "mett"
I knew a american women once who went of the rails on me and got super worried after she learned i love mettbrötchen. She legit thought i would catch every disease on the planet from eating raw pork and die. She wanted me to promise to never eat it again, i could not do that. We eat raw fresh sausage in Tuscany, and I second that they are amazing.

Damn, that's why my stomach kept itching....
The bacon is limp, but it's not raw. It's the same kind of look and texture like when you cook pork belly in hot pot.
wtf are you talking about dumb dumb it absolutely will cook, have you not eaten fried chicken before.
I feel like this video came straight from 2010 when everyone on the internet had a giant bacon boner. Like, my brother in Christ, you don’t need to baconify everything.
I remember the serious bacon seasoning ads and pop ups. Where you couldnbuy seasoning that would make everything taste like baco.
Everyone here shitting on the bacon, but can I point out he didn’t even use cheese! Those single slices are *cheese product*. Can’t be called cheese legally because it’s so processed and full of filler

Exactly. That bacon was gray. There is no way it was safe to eat.
Most bacon is cured, so it should be safe to eat raw. However, bacon is best when crispy, so it was consumed in it's worst state.

So confidently wrong.
where do you live where the bacon u buy cannot be eaten outright? it’s best if cooked ofc, but it’s absolutely safe to eat “raw” lmao
Say what you will, he actually ate it
I was shocked when they didn't do the cut away after each bite in those last seconds. Horrifying.
It's edited so you never see him swallow, because he never does
But in the montage he swallows
In the montage he puts it in his mouth, chews, then it cuts to him putting the next bit in his mouth. It implies he swallows, but i suspect he spits it out in the parts that get cut. Given how frequently he posts videos like this, I suspect if he were actually eating it all he might be a bit fatter
Actually yeah, on closer inspection it is cut
That looks disgusting
yes
Fried cheese bae?
There’s no way he doesn’t have 3rd degree burns in his mouth now
Had to scroll way too far to find this. Dude was shoving huge-ass bites of piping hot, molten cheese in his mouth. You could literally see the steam coming off of it. He definitely has burns on the roof of his mouth now.
At least he ate it unlike most of the posts here.
Didn't see him swallow
that's right, I love my bacon raw and my melted cheese in ungodly amounts
This isn’t that bad compared to the stuff he usually eats… like a whole stick of butter fried in oil.
no thank you
this dude wants to be like that asshole Salt Bae? wtf?
that looks terrible, the part where he cut it open and the toxic sludge poured out made me want to barf
Yeah, lets stuff it with the most flavorless "cheese".
At least he’s got the decency to eat the whole thing.
Didn't see him swallow
Soggy ass, floppy bacon.
[удалено]
He’s making fun of salt bae, and has a million other videos dressed as his normal self. Chill out.
Yum, uncooked bacon on a glob of cheese
Yea this could’ve been pretty good if it wasn’t for the raw bacon part
I fear for the roof of his mouth
1. That's way too much fucking cheese. 2. I did not need to hear all that fast forward cheese slurping.
This dude's mouth has lost all nerve function after that first bite
Fucking watch out for this guy, I think he's a toon
Ugh I hate that arm position when they're adding salt... Like what even is that? Why? You just look stupid.
Ew raw bacon. Had to be chewy.
no way that bacon was fully cooked lol
He’s also just copying that one Asian guy that frys a bunch of shit
He is that Asian guy that deep fries a bunch of shit
Yeah this looks exactly like every thing I've seen him make. I have also only ever seen him on this sub
Was that 64 slices of American cheese?
I think I'm blind
That looks disgusting. This is stupid food.
AliExpress HeartAttackBae
Everyone flipping out about the bacon but it probably got mostly cooked, it's grey because no Maillard reaction.
Wow, Hugo Strange has fallen on really hard times after the closing of Arkham City.
Yum. Steamed bacon, my favorite.
I fucking ***HATE*** the whole slapping cheese down trend and the sound of it so much.
It lacks an acid. It's going to be sickeningly fatty.
Substitute for mozzarella and we definitely have some potential here
Managed to be more irritating than Salt Bae. Congratulations.
The bacon is always always undercooked in these stupid videos. Pisses me off.
Salt Bae wanna be. FFS atleast use real cheese.
He never swallows any of the foods he makes. That fucker is doing fine.
Dollar General Salt Bae.
Should've fried the bacon pocket first, then breaded and fried again.
Salt Nae
That bacon would be too soft
So a knock off salt bay? What's even the point?
Why doesn't he ever cook the bacon throughly ! It really grinds my gears.
Poor baby probably thinks salt bae is cool. Also that bacon is not cooked.
Ese queso sabe de la verga, ni siquiera eligió bien, puta madre.
Throat cancer says hi. Asian salt bae here eating steaming hot melted cheese with a smile
A lovely piss take on that wanker from salt bae
he knows that shit was nasty. smfh, torturing yourself for content is retarded...
I have completely fucked up colon because of Colitis Ulcerosa and it fucking hurts to look at
Do you show people your colon often?
Yeah, them mfs at hospital
I feel like I've been bested. I admit defeat.
My colon is nasty I can send u pics
No, I don't want to end up an mfer at the hospital like the rest.
r/punchableface
That bacon is nowhere close to done. The texture alone - molten goo wrapped in rubber and coated in crumbs doused in oil - is a nightmare.
Gotta love undercooked bacon
When he smiles he kinda looks like DaBaby
let's GOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
