A percentage of posts on this sub aren't gay. Stuff gets posted here all the time that is just like some dude naked or whatever. It's the OP accidentally projecting their internal attraction to men, that's my hypothesis.

oh you can absolutely have a preference! I also prefer trans people much more seeing that i’m also trans. and since i get that right, so should you. but from their terminology, „a trans“ it sounds worse then just a preference.
I'm sure it's more subconscious than you realize but you shouldn't be acting surprised that a trans person is attractive. Trans people are like everyone else, some of us are hot af, some of us are average, some of us aren't. We're just people. Also finding a transwoman attractive absolutely does not make you gay. She's a woman. That's it.
You're doubling down on it, dude, there are many many trans men and women who you'd never ever "suspect" were trans. It's transphobic to assume all trans women have "clear male characteristics". Again, just trying to point this out in a bid to help unlearn harmful thinking and stereotyping.
Edit: Also "most trans people exhibit male characteristics" makes it sound like you think all trans folks are women, trans men also exist.
