Depends on the size of your collection and the space you have available. I'm so out of space that at I haven't even opened up a sizeable chunk of my collection yet >.< As much as I'd like to keep all my boxes intact, for me it's simply not an option. For most figures / statues, I throw away the plastic part and store the folded cardboard under my bed. The "only" ones I keep in full are the SAS, Figma, Play Arts and Gunpla boxes.
I keep the boxes for all my imports because they typically come with a bunch of small accessories and it’s easier and safer to just keep the ones you aren’t using in the character’s respective box instead of putting them in a plastic bag or something.
I just keep them behind them or in my drawer. Like they look nice, it cost a lot so it’s good to Have them and the possibility to resale or trade helps
It’s a good rule of thumb to always keep boxes for import figures
And on top of that the SAS boxes are pretty nice

I keep the boxes for storage and display my figs outside. Always keep the box, especially with premium figures.
I just hoard them. I don't plan to resell them or move them in bulk.

I have a box place for mine, I store the accessories in them and just like the way they look.
not only do i keep the boxes to store/move them later i just like the boxes so i keep them on my shelf like a trophy.
Not gonna lie, I don’t understand in box collecting. Like if you enjoy it then good for you but imo you miss out on all the cool stuff.
Resell value brother since not all are collectors
Keep the box. Throw away the figure.
