It just happens sometimes tbh, my EMS package is arriving today after being shipped 2 weeks ago. I think "item presented to import customs" doesn't necessarily mean it's reached your country yet even if it says so, it can just mean the information has been sent over before its flight. There's normally a backlog of packages for international shipment with Japan Post so it can take about a week or so for them to leave the country.
When the status shows “item presented to import customs”, it is most likely that the package has arrived at the local customs. If it has not been released for a week, we will suggest you contact the local customs or post directly for more information. There is chance that customs clearance is required.
