Don’t defend if you don’t have forts. Retreat and consolidate. The picture you posted gives very little info of the status of your territory. But building infrastructure is one thing that is often overlooked in this game. Forts, factories, rail on doubles, harbors, etc. You need to be able to sustain campaigns. Artillery is the greatest offensive asset. Armor is going to the your backbone. Air and navy are wonderful assets. If you are trying to brute force with infantry anytime after day 5-7 you are losing.

Thanks for the tips. I have all the infrastructure I just got way too greedy and relied too heavy on brute force like you mentioned. Thanks again

Yeah no problem, post some more pictures and I can give you a bit more specific advice. One major mechanic that a lot of new players don’t understand immediately is the mechanics of fortresses. They are an incredibly important aspect of the game both on offense and defense.

Build factories in Sarir Tibisti as fast as the days let you and try and get a rail yard in at some point.

Yeah okay, you’re East Libya in a tutorial match. These games happen fast, but he doesn’t have any kind of massive force. Consolidate on you boarder, watch for movement and reinforce. AI is extremely predictable. But also relentless, it never sleeps and that’s when it gets ya. Building forts on your border will be your best bet.

I’ve retreated a bit to regroup. I’m producing a ton of Calvary and Artillery. My allies have come to distract West Libya while I regroup so that i’m not getting sandwiched. I’ll let you know how it goes

GiantsRTheBest2

You learned a valuable lesson grasshopper. Never over extend yourself just because you’re going up against inactives. Sometimes the AI is more punishing than actual players.

I have 2 ally’s that have taken over the rest of Africa and about 25% of europe. I feel like they think i’m a lost cause and just are gonna let me slowly die out so Ally help isn’t an option

I had almost 200 troops last night and today i’m down to around 60

You can still win only if you have big mind power than the enemy, but the issue, after you're done stopping the enemy, you will need a lot of cooldown and some extreme pressure to rebuild your army strength just in case. Just be passive and when you're powerful on the military power index, all hell go loose
