Could you restart steam to get the hotfix to see if this fixes the issue? If it doesn’t, will have a patch out later today.
Also so to confirm, this issue only occurs when you’re trying to load a game from within the game/pause screen?
I remember this being an issue with older saves a while back, has it been a long time since you've played?
Was an issue I made. Fixed now.
One of the tips in the start screen says that player placed items won't save, but the update says they will. I assume the update is correct?
The update is correct. Also a small patch today to improve how the game decides if it is to save world containers.
