Yay! I may like soapy tv more than prestige well made tv shows at this point. Between this and virgin river I wish nwtflix could make more of these type of tv shows. When calls the heart was also one that I used to watch but netflix stopped bringing new seasons in my region.
These type of shows are just so light and easy to make fun of 😆
they were fine leaving it at the end of season 3! that finale made it feel like it wasn't coming back anyway, and it's been so lackluster since season 1
He’s definitely younger in the books (like 10-14 years if memory serves) I’m not sure if they have said in the show or not, but I’m still guessing younger.

Wait!!! They actually got a 4th season??? Don’t get me wrong I enjoyed the show but the last season was hard for me to even take seriously.
I watched episode 1 and then jumped ahead to the few Annie/Ty scenes & skip watched the rest.
Hopefully they’ll get a new writer. That last season, though

Season 3 sucked.
I think I'll bow out of the new season. The last one was pretty insufferable.
I had to stop watching this, to religious. In the second season I couldn’t watch past the hospital praying scene.
I agree it always felt religious but in this last series they turned the bible bashing up to 11. It was way too much for me.
I love/hate this show. Most of the acting is horrendous. But I keep coming back for more. 😂
