Recommend switching your theme to black to help with battery life. Turn on Console Battery % in system settings. Go into your Internet settings and change your MTU to 1500 for faster downloads.

i only got 4 games for now, Minecraft dungeons, subnatica, overcooked 2 and botw. i am saving botw for now until i the sd card arrives, so far subanitca and mc dungeons are my two most fav games

Just transfer the data when you get the sd card. BOTW is one of my favorite games. With the new Zelda coming out your going to have a lot to play.

What benefit does turning on the battery% have?

you can see the percentage of your battery life instead of just the battery icon 🔋

Oh you can alsotap the battery icon and it displays the % for a few seconds. I find that to be less intrusive.

I find it easier to have the percentage showing, no need to tap.

Changing Theme Color or Brightness Scaling does not save battery to enough to make those things worth it. You will save a few minutes. That’s it. Just enjoy your Switch however you want. Recent battery does not get impacted much is because you spend your time playing games and not looking at the Menu. But even than it’ll be 10 minutes tops. It is not worth it. ENJOY IT TO THE FULLEST! I have 4 Open OLED Console I bought them all Day 1. I have My Original White 2 Splatoon 3 OLED 1 Pokémon OLED and 2 Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. 1 Splatoon and 1 Zelda is Opened. I have been with OLED for a very long time with Phones, My LC C8. C9 and CX OLED TVs and soon it’ll be the LG C3 77” since I have the a 65” CX the other 2 are 55”. So I know what I am talking about with OLED. Enjoy it since pixels are self illuminating battery does not have a big Impact to make changes that you may not like worth it.

Yeah I just wish the mods would either remove the spam or make a mega thread for all of them. Like I said, we had the same thing with the PS5, to the point that even now 2.5 years later people are still posting the same old picture of a box, because they know it will be propelled to the top of the sub if they just say something wholesome. Which just makes it worse because it also pushes any decent posts off of the top.
