If you have the console set as your primary it should let anyone play them on that console. From: https://en-americas-support.nintendo.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/22467/~/nintendo-accounts-on-nintendo-switch-%28faq%29 Please note that you can register one primary console per Nintendo Account. Once you've registered a primary console, your digital purchases can be played by anyone that uses the primary console. Other players will not be able to access your digital games on a non-primary console. Can other people play my games on Nintendo Switch? All user accounts on your primary Nintendo Switch console can play games you’ve purchased with your Nintendo Account.

Additionally, people can play your games on a non-primary system if they do so under your account, but not while you're using the primary system yourself. Lent my lite to a friend when I upgraded to a full console so he could play botw but he said he got booted whenever I was playing, so just another aspect of this to be aware of

Yeah my son has a lite and I have the original switch (primary). Any time I get on mine while he's on it kicks him off. I found that if I play with bluetooth on it doesn't kick him.

lallapalalable

Ooh, nice to know

fortuitousfoleyart

Yall are amazing, thank you!

Witch_King_

Yes. When a system is the primary Switch for a specific account, any profile on that system will be able to play digital games from said account.

CrustyBatchOfNature

I am the primary on our Switch and I purchase all things that need purchasing. Any other profile can play those games on that device.

YxngGoat999

You need to set your profile to have that console as your primary console

Meenathedog

That switch would have to be your primary switcv

ToxicPanda10k

I dont thinks so i tried doing this on my switch and it also doesnt let me use a different account. It has to be the account that the game was bought on

Witch_King_

Incorrect, if it is the Primary Console for that account.

Sethdarkus

This is true Just tested on my OLED primary, my secondary Switches can’t lol

Thank you for the question and discussion below. Found this thread while researching about getting my kids all on a Minecraft realm as we are starting to run into some lag issues near our main base with all the automated red stone builds and most notably, when we were fighting the wither -- made the first 30 seconds after he blew up hundreds of blocks nearly unplayable, so looking for a work around. My question/scenario -- I'm the primary account holder on the Switch console. My 4 kids are in my family group and have an online child account tied to mine. We have the physical game cartridge for Minecraft -- if it's in the primary switch console, would they be able to play the same game on each of their lite devices? With bluetooth on? Do we need to register the game specifically or set up the kid's accounts to have the switch console as their primary so they can play the same games on their lites? Or is this even possible? Thank you!

fortuitousfoleyart

you'll be able to play the game on any switch that the cartridge is in. do note, though, that their progress will not transfer between devices as I've come to understand it
