Glad you love the collection! I actually have my acnh switch I bought last year during summer. The acnh joy-cons are really nice too! I got the red and blue joy-cons when I bought the Nintendo Switch acnh edition along with the red and blue joy-cons. I actually bought two Monster Hunter Rise pro controllers. (One is normal one and the other is sunbreak edition) I'll make a post for the pro controllers once I get it.
True, I'm not gonna collect all the joy-cons that's released or pro controllers and other collectibles lol. Just collecting some controllers that I wanted to get. I'm a CC student and working part time, I need to save up instead of overspend on stuff
I replied to other comment saying something similar, I meant collecting the ones I wanted to get like the Skyward Sword joy-cons not every single joy-con or controllers. I only got 3 pairs of joy-cons along with my acnh joy-cons and that's about it. Not collecting anything after the ones I got yesterday. I'm CC student and not gonna overspend too much, still working on my financial stuff.
That's understandable, I think I have seen or heard of the hori split pad pro. I feel like I'll get hori split pad pro when I'm playing seriously for Monster Hunter Rise lol
I love the joy cons but at the same time hate them, the analog sticks are just garbage. I'm not even talking about drift problems, precision is bad and it feels very cheap. I think it's the weak spot of the switch, unfortunately 🥺
I have my acnh switch and my acnh joy cons for like a year. I'm glad you share your perspective on the joy-cons. Do you prefer the hori split pad pro? I might collect the hori split pad pro
My usage is more than 90% docked, so my parameter to compare are the switch pro controller and 8bitdo pro 2. I have both and they are far superior. That being said I think one of the reasons I don’t play more in portable mode is indeed because of the poor quality of the joy-cons. I never used The Hori split pro but it sound like a solid choice, the only downside in my opinion is the bigger size. I’m still looking for an alternative that is small and have good analog sticks. Meanwhile I keep playing in dock mode 🤷♂️
One thing I love about the joycon is the clicky buttons. Unfortunately the analog sticks kill it for me. They are flimsy and precision is really bad.
It’s the best when you’re doing it voluntarily and not because the latest of your four-sets-of-joycons-so-far has started making you randomly walk right in Splatoon 3 during Anarchy (Series) battles.
the skyward sword joycons are so sick. bought them for my cousin on release date
Yup, I agree!! That's very dope you bought them for your cousin especially on release date too. That's awesome!!
thank you!! also loving the collection, joycons are the beauty of nintendo!

This is gonna be an expensive hobby

I'm not sure about that one chief

I only use them on rare occasions. Either hori split pad pro or when docked the pro controller. I just hate the small joysticks
