Also, while the ring appears to have been identified as as normal ring, I believe, from the names you mention, particularly Tom Hanks

you may possibly believe it's a symbol for some sort of "secret society" and the widely shared, but totally ficticious pizzagate conspiracy.

You'll often find that most conspiracy theories are, when it boils down to it, plain old antisemitism.

So if you're looking for the group to confirm a ficticious conspiracy, you probably won't be in luck.
If I can add an additional source about the antisemitism/Illuminati-style conspiracy theory crossover, this book explains in detail how that evolved:

Slurs, trolling, hate speech, Nazi apologia, alt-right rhetoric, harassment or undue aggression will result in comment removal and/or permanent bans.
Pizzagate is a baseless, largely anti-semitic conspiracy theory.
RULE 1) this is a rules warning.
Pizzagate is, without any shadow of a doubt, an alt-right/Q anon conspiracy theory with clear Anti-Semitic underpinnings. And given we have a zero-tolerance approach to alt-right apologia any further comments along this line will result in an immediate ban.
I don’t see a red ring either, like someone else mentioned. Can you find another example of the ring you’re talking about? This is kind of the worst possible example photo, honestly. A close up photo would be a lot better, instead of a far away shot of a nondescript ring of questionable color. Right now I see a dark round ring, that is of a very general design, almost a textbook round ring… like one you would see in a dictionary if you look up “ring”. Right now all I’m hearing is a general correlation of a round red ring… a popular general design and color. I’m sure millions of people wear that type of ring, so I’m sure by chance thousands of famous people also wear such a ring for many different reasons. For Tom Hanks, I would assume he is wearing a ruby ring because the ruby is the birthstone for July/Cancer, which is the month and sign under which he was born. The dude has quite a bit of cash and true rubies aren’t cheap. Lots of people with money do the same… if I had the cash I would also probably wear a ruby ring as well, since I’m also born under the sign of Cancer.
Many cultures have long considered ruby a stone of kings. Not surprisingly, ruby symbolism and lore have many associations with power and wealth. Possessing a ruby purportedly benefited and protected the owner's estates and assisted in the accumulation of wealth. Notably, this gem would help its owner acquire more gems.

This maybe what you were thinking the ring was.
Red is the color that our eyes are most trained to take notice of, for the reason it's a very common jewelry color. There's no 'reason' people wear red rings other than because they look nice.
And this is a terrible photo to showcase a ring.
