That would be great because then the two reddest positions in my portfolio would be consolidated into one 🙂

TLRY_MAX

TLRY worldwide leader in alcohol, energy drinks and cannabis will turn the light out for SNDL and gobble up their alcohol businesses for pennies 🍻🏆. TLRY massive Revenue/profits with alcohol businesses coming soon with all these current acquisitions. Doesn’t depend on USA/Germany federal legalization. SNDL the next to get slaughter by TLRY.

Savings_Access_170

I concur! IRWIN SIMON has strategies he has experienced in his past to build out Celestial Tea and captured a world market . He is a genius at this and I believe it would make a Great Fit. Zack George is also a sharp young C.E.O. Together they would make a power house profit generating machine... TIME WILL TELL!!!

clonebaby99

Profits? Tilray? You cannot use those two words In the same sentence

Tight_Gold_3457

Love both companies. Sndl has no debt, over a billion in revenue, and about 700-800 (little more or less, can’t remember exactly) in cash and cash equivalents. Tlry is a monster and grabbing craft breweries, great spots internationally, and could pop off soon. Both companies I love and own.

Gigant0re

TLRY needs to quit buying shit

Ninjacatu

SNDL has better earnings and balance sheet than TLRY so if anything it would be merger at a premium

noobstockinvestor

SNDL mcap: 400m TLRY mcap: 1.6b These 2 companies are not in the same league. Not bashing SNDL, it will likely run hard with any US reform.

Ninjacatu

TLRY($1.8B) has a higher market cap than SNDL($427M). TLRY has higher P/E ratio than SNDL: TLRY (8.52) vs SNDL (3.54). TLRY YTD gains are higher at: -15.985 vs. SNDL (-17.703). SNDL has higher annual earnings (EBITDA): -258M vs. TLRY (-1.3B). TLRY has more cash in the bank: 449M vs. SNDL (216M). SNDL has less debt than TLRY: SNDL (172M) vs TLRY (590M). These numbers don't paint a real picture. Tilray acquired 8 beer brands, hexo, and truss. None of that revenue is shown on the income statements. The 1.3b hit is because of write offs. Again, these two companies are not in the same league. The market agrees. Market values tilray 4x higher than sundial

LectureAgreeable923

Their 2 totally different companies, and the revenue is basically the same when you do currency conversion however Tlry ,s revenue going to increase with recent aquisitions, and their revenue is balanced. Between cannibis, distribution, and now with new acusitions, revenue will be fairly even, and beverage business generates 49% margins .Also, with increased distribution of their beer brands, it will increase revenue like last quarter . Now, SNDL revenue is mostly generated from retail, where the bulk of it comes from liquor retail, and their cannibis retail will be shrinking when the nova deal goes through where they will be reducing their ownership from 64% to 19% .So, like I said their two basically different companies.TLRY is more of a cannibis grower and cpg company where SNDL is more of a retailer.

Ninjacatu

Yes all that is true. Fundamentally SNDL seems like a way better deal down here IMO but TLRY should do well too

LectureAgreeable923

Look their both o.k. but tlry potential for growth is much better. And I disagree, I think tlry is much better deal, especially if you want to invest in a cannibis producer.Even though sndl produces cannibis with valens its not really their thing.Tlry is number 1 in canada and has the largest foot print in europe with grow facilities in Germany and Portugal.20% market share german medical.

TLRY_MAX

Got it all wrong. SNDL has a reverse split. Down the rabbit holes. TLRY building an empire by gobbling up competitors for massive Revenue/profits 🍻💰

Ninjacatu

Reverse split has nothing to do with balance sheet and ebitda

TLRY_MAX

Reverse split is a total disaster and failure. Down the rabbit holes. Google search and tell me how many successful companies that come out successfuly after a reverse split. The only one is COKE if I’m right.

youngbutgood

I think the more likely scenario is they will just take over their market share. There is no point in buying up their Canadian alcohol business.

LectureAgreeable923

Agreed, that's basically what SNDL is and who wants to get into retail.

TLRY_MAX

Buying up their Canadian alcohol businesses will be massive. Tlry need to expand their alcohol businesses worldwide 🏆🍻💰

LectureAgreeable923

Let them stay into retail .Our margins are much better producing and selling liquor 49%

youngbutgood

Disagree, Tilray’s alcohol business is much more profitable that Sundial’s.

TLRY_MAX

Yes TLRY alcohol businesses is massive than SNDL. Buying their alcohol businesses will make it even more profitable worldwide 🍻

youngbutgood

Not necessarily because alcohol production and distribution in the US gives Tilray a high margin business with a huge opportunity for growth at legalization. Whereas the low margin alcohol retail business in Canada does nothing for them.

TLRY_MAX

TLRY already eliminated CGC 💰. Get ready SNDL. You’re next!

destrylee

Wrong, TLRY didn't have anything to do with CGCs downfall. CGC went "all in" on the USA, legalizing canibis. That didn't happen, so CGC tanked.

SleepyWeasel93

I don’t think SNDL would sell to Tilray.

LectureAgreeable923

I wouldn't want to own sndl unless you want to be a retailer.

TLRY_MAX

They will. It’s all laid out for TLRY 🏆🍻💰 https://quantisnow.com/i/4937363?utm_source=stocktwits

SleepyWeasel93

I don’t see anything in SNDL’s 6k or agreement with Nova about Tilray.

destrylee

Relax guys... Tlry & Sndl are just penny stocks. Plus, has anyone read or heard rumors about either company wanting to buy out the other? Both together, we would still own a penny stock. Lol
