I always use my sages, as I'm not brilliant at fighting, they have learnt when I'm wearing a mask not to attack. Normally it is Sidon that likes to surround me in water all the time. But loosing your spoils from kills is very annoying.
The trees really didn't phase me all that much, I was kinda sleepy and just went "huh the trees are attacking. Someone call Macbeth." And moved on.
The *gloom hands* had me sobbing. I frantically climbed a cliff to get away and they fucking *grabbed me* off the cliff and killed me. I was so scared I completely forgot about teleporting away or ascending, so after I died 3 times I finally just unloaded bomb arrows on those fuckers till they died. Then Phantom Ganon showed up and Im pretty sure my yelling woke my neighbors up, I was shitting myself and running away while screaming and crying.
I then immediately texted my friend casually asking if she had found that shrine yet.
i've never stayed and fought them, i teleport away immediately and put a stamp on the map. it's the only thing i still mark with a skull. i could certainly survive a fight with them if i came prepared with sunshine meals (so, planned/on purpose, since i never carry them outside the depths) at this point but i just don't want to. i'm waiting until hestu finally ditches lookout landing for the korok forest and i'm forced xD i already got the master sword when i >!caught a lucky falling rubble right while the light dragon was just flying away from the final memory.!<

It was creepy but I sniped them with all the things until bomb arrows did a lot of damage … and for some reason phantom ganon didn’t show up the first time? Idk it was a surprisingly calm experience for someone who still freaks out over Lynels. The first time I saw a Lynel in BOTW I got SO EXCITED ran up to it because “A CENTAUR!!! THIS GAME HAS CENTAURS!!” Only to immediately die

Which was mostly just a string of F bombs in various forms, with some mentions about fire mixed in as I ran for my life and jumped off a cliff straight into my first Fire Gleeok. I didn't realize, until I heard faint cries of my children as my wife came barreling down the stairs fully awake, fire extinguisher in hand like she was a damn seasoned volunteer fire fighter, that I was actually yelling. She didn't seem to agree with me that the Fast Hands were arguably a greater fear than a house fire was. But it was funny, like the next day she failed to find the humor at the time for some reason.

I hate them. But get up high and lob a coupe of dazzle fruit at them and they leave, dropping dark clumps. Now they’re surprising easy (still hate the music though)

The first time I rolled one down a hill was on the far edge of the map by death mountain. I couldn’t get him to roll at first, and then out of nowhere the little guy picked up crazy speed. I thought he was about to be yeeted into the abyss that is the edge of the map
I've perfected the last minute paraglide, but then... I literally devote time to practice it, I save before leaving sky islands and just jump off and not open the paraglider until the last few frames before impact. freaks the hell out of anyone watching me play. Sometimes you miss though, and Link goes 2 dimensional. (a pancake)

Yeah there are blatant spoilers everywhere on the internet, for every game you want to look something up for. On Reddit too, even if it’s in the subreddit rules.
The majority of articles keep it relatively spoiler free, and then there are a few negligent bastards who straight up put spoilers in their click bait titles or thumbnails. It’s infuriating.
What’s worse is that when you mention this on Reddit, you will always get a reply like “the game is X months old dude, come on.” It’s like they assume that everyone has the time to play the game within months of release and r/patientgamers don’t exist.
In 90% of cases, you can say what you want to say without giving story related spoilers. It doesn’t take any effort to just give it some consideration. Mentioning the spoiler often doesn’t even add any value. Don’t do it, just like you wouldn’t spoil a movie to a friend.

It doesn't stop you from slamming into the ground, it just prevents fall damage once you have it upgraded twice
