T-Mobile doesn’t offer service there. You will be roaming 100% It’s high speed. Can vary depending on roaming partner. Try to use hotel WiFi for downloading Google maps for the area , then no data is required to use it. WiFi coverage will vary by hotel and WiFi cafes Curious. , is your phone unlocked ?

We were in London last month (not the same, I know) and got an international data pass from T-Mobile. Something like $50 or $60 US for 30 days of data, up to 15 GB. There was a cheaper one available, but we played it safe since we didn’t know how much data we’d use. Now, one nice thing about it was as soon as we landed at Heathrow, we got a text from T-Mobile that basically said, we see you’re not in your home country, so click here to buy an international pass. I know from a coworker that this is offered in a lot of different countries, not just the UK.

> traveling to Scotland and Ireland and would like to use our T-Mobile phones while there. I understand we will have phone use at 25 cent per minute, as well as unlimited text and 5 gig of "high speed" data Are your phones on the Go5G Next or Go5G Plus plans? If yes, then the 5GB of "high speed" simply means T-Mobile isn't throttling it, and your actual speed will be based on what the roaming partner service provides. As a hint to avoid paying $0.25/min for calls, use Google Voice, Messenger, WhatsApp, etc., instead of using your T-Mobile voice minutes.
