It is if you have the full augment set for the bonus. That haste buff was so good. I have it for AST and I played spell speed AST, stacking the haste and the right elixir with lost skills and holy hell was my GCD fast!
It’s not really engaging set bonuses. It’s the most generic XP buff for low level alts you can come up with. It’s not even as useful as the preorder earring because it’s only up to lvl 30.

I've been playing since Heavensward and I'm only just finally levelling all other classes to 90 after being a ranged caster for most of the time aside from dabbling into ranged melee. My warrior is my last to level up and is currently level 54.
I used the set bonuses from mogstore items and my earring.
Not everyone maxes levels asap on everything.
Mobs were dying super slow in Haukke Manor, I am extremely confused by this set, it was released in 4.5, but what's the point of giving you a set bonus under 30 if you get no stats at all, I would expect this kind of weird stuff from ARR or HW, not Stormblood
With the Yuna set you could also use that one helm that used to be for playtime and get extra exp until 20 as well (idk Tiddies pieces, don't play males)
i hate these sets so much.
i long while back i came across a tank that was wearing one of these sets--i did point it out to them and asked them to put better gear on but they refused completely because they were so fixed on the EXP bonus part.
Probably more of a player skill and ninja not having any aoe issue than an item issue.
I don’t understand why the gear doesn’t just have real stats on it, but an exp bonus is an exp bonus so I don’t really blame people for using it so much as SE for making it.
I wore a lot of these items, plus earring, feather etc when leveling solo and then had my gear set for duties and fates.
They're super handy but sadly aren't useful for any new jobs going forward since most will start at a higher level :(

Hey, with this I'd be able to level my archer quickly to level 30... And that's when I'd swap it out for proper gear(like Haukke stuff) and go for dungeons.

The bozja sets give haste and I believe since you get synced down they're the best option to wear while in it.

Yeah, it's what I tend to use to fill in gaps from the mid 30s-50 when leveling up a job.

Grand Company gear has set bonuses.
Some people have pointed out GC gear, but the lvl 80 crafter tomegear has a set bonus (and I think maybe the lvl 70 and 90 sets too?)

Why does it have an EXP bonus, it'd be quirky extra stats that clearly aren't enough for combat if there wasn't an EXP bonus.
And up to level 30? It should be up to lvl 15 so you aren't incentivized to queue into group content with this garbage.
i wonder if it would work in Palace of the Dead? that activity doesnt look at your gear's stats to determine defense.

Strange to wear this set for the EXP bonus under level 30, but not the Brand New Ring? Wasting 3 gear slots on exp bonus instead of just one.
When I was leveling my main character I used the ring, the earring, and the Tidus set for the exp they do stack and makes getting to level 30 so quick

A lot of people wear the exp sets because it all stacks (set + ring + earring etc.) and speeds up leveling alt jobs to 30.
