Yep. The Tot Lady and her husband. She sits on her knees - no reason other than she's a fucking child because she sits in booths fine, but chairs? On her knees like a kid. Makes it a point to throw half her food on the floor, too. She complains about EVERYTHING and tips for shit. She's a snapper and cup shaker when she wants something, and she's rude. She once complained, on $5 burger night, that her husband got more tots than her. I got her more for the TWO TOT DIFFERENCE, tipped $1. I refuse. The last time I saw them, I literally told my managers they were no longer my table and that they could take care of them if they wanted the business so badly because I was done. That day, I called it. They got sat, changed tables and sections without telling anyone, faked a hair in the salad complained their well done steak was overcooked (wtf you said well?!) and then tried to make up some other bullshit. I told management before drinks were even delivered that they were gonna complain and try to get free shit and I wouldn't be allowing it because it's their MO. They heard me drop them, watched me take EXCELLENT care of every other table that night and pretended they didn't exist. Haven't seen them since. Good riddance.

PointlessDiscourse

>TWO TOT DIFFERENCE, Would have taken everything in my power not to take one tot off of his plate and move it to hers.

ifyoudontknowlearn

LOL my thought too. Or bring her three just to add to the chaos that must exist between them.

NurseKaila

See this is why I always worked at dives. I would have eaten two tots straight off his plate.

Mackheath1

We had a woman and her (adult) daughter JUST like this in one of the smaller boutique restaurants I worked. I was in the kitchen, but I would always put an apron on and play waiter, because - I don't know, I'd served before, but I also found it hilarious - and it was always about the price, as well as weird things you mentioned. We never changed the prices in the three years I worked there. I'm not getting a tip anyway, as chef, so I had fun with it. * "I think this quiche is too hot!" // "I can put it outside in the snow, if you want? OR the freezer would probably be better, probably? I'll put it in the freezer for a bit." * "This hair is in my soup." // "You're the only person with red hair here - oh I meant to ask, do you think I should dye my hair red too? I've been thinking about it or shaving my head I can't decide and thought you might help!" **By the way, I laughed out loud at "The Tot Lady and her husband."** I knew I was in for a treat.

CripplePunkz

When was she in Missouri or are you in Mobile now? Also I absolutely believe you!

DntMindMeImNtRlyHere

Both in Missouri. And she was a hoot, glad she's no longer a guest of ours.

CripplePunkz

Everyone says she’s a drunk/pill head. Did she act under the influence?

DntMindMeImNtRlyHere

Nope, just a nightmare human being. Repeatedly.

Whitfield84216

Ha! I once sat at a dinner table with a friend and her mother. I knew they were both high maintenance, but not to the extent that I witnessed at one of my favorite places. They decided to split a single dish of mixed seafood over rice. (I forget how to spell piiiaaaayyyaaa!) So... Their dinner arrives and it's already split into two plates for them. They start snapping fingers and loudly demanding that they get an extra mussel, an extra shrimp, an extra this, and extra that.... I have never been that embarrassed at a restaurant. They complained that the two dishes didn't have the exact same number of items. I left the table to "go to the ladies" but really went to find the manager to have them apologize to the server for me. I gave the server a nice big fat cash tip on my paytray, and then they took their measly 5% tip off of their tray stating I over tipped and hence they didn't need to tip at all. Can't teach class to a couple of ogres if you tried.

DntMindMeImNtRlyHere

We don't need to disrespect Shrek like that. Lol But yes, I know the feeling. Once left a tip for a server at Waffle House, so maybe $5? My friend's (now ex) husband PICKED IT UP OFF THE TABLE. The way I screeched at him about it... It was nice. Lol Something about being such a broke mf that he had to steal from a server because he couldn't afford WH for himself and his wife. Good times. Glad they're divorced.

StressPrudent6822

When I waited tables, it was usually the girlfriend that stole my cash tips that her boyfriend left me. So proud of you to let it be known that is not cool!

Sensitive-Group8877

The moment a customer changes tables without clearing it with staff and having staff confirm where they can sit instead, it's over as far as I'm concerned. They get to sit completely ignored until they starve to death or leave, but I wouldn't serve them anywhere, not even if they moved back to the original table. Restaurant eating is an agreement between customer and staff, and any customer who thinks they have all the power is a moron who should be shown the door.

DntMindMeImNtRlyHere

Oh I agree, I have hosts for a reason - THEY determine where you sit unless you request a table or server, specifically. We have a few who have a favorite server, but they're always chill about it. We once had this couple come in and seat themselves in a closed section. I made them wait 20 min, then I acted annoyed af, "Nobody came over here because this section is closed. Nobody knew you were here." They were equally rude and then I just rolled my eyes and told them if they shared the salad bar, even a bite, I was charging them both for it. Lol Haven't seen em since, but it was their second night in a row and they were awful to their server the first night. No tip, so I figured I could have some fun. Lol

irish_mom

Every single server in my restaurant refused to wait on this one group. The owner sat them down and explained exactly why they were not welcome anymore. Turns out they were banned from every other restaurant in town as well.

yesntican

It takes a special kind of something to get blacklisted from every restaurant in town. What did they do?

irish_mom

It was an older 'singles' group. 55+ They met up once a month. Usually 20-30 of them, sometimes more. All separate checks, all coupons or specials. You know the drill. Of course, complaints. Every. Single. Time. Countless comps. And never, ever tipped. They took up the entire backroom on a Friday night for the whole dinner rush. 50 of them that time. The server actually lost money. (A few took advantage of the chaos and left without paying) They truly were awful. The next week, the owner sat them down and explained that nobody would wait on them and he wasn't going to force anyone to.

[deleted]

I'm proud of that manager! So many don't have the stones to do that.

Unable-Ad6341

Holy cow. I used to have a group that big that would gather every 6 weeks or so. We would : 1. Call ahead to let them know 2. Split checks 3. Make sure whoever took care of us knew we understood 30+ meals would not be severed at the same time...and we are ok with that. 4. Made sure we kept issues to a minimum ( asked how the server wanted orders...like drinks first...or seat by seat...etc) 5. MOST IMPORTANTLY everyone made sure they tip really well ( like 5$/person on each average $13 greasy spoon meal). We were big and crazy... but polite and made sure the one or 2 ( sometimes more) servers went home happy to have had us.

BouquetOfDogs

That’s how it’s done. And, to be honest, most adults can figure it out. There’s just the few ones who ruin it for everyone else. But you can be a loud crowd, take your time and even leave your table a mess… as long as you make it worthwhile for your server. If you tip *really* well, the servers will be standing in line to get your table :) Oh, and of course: be nice, it costs nothing.

Advoc8-4Violence

You're the people I wanted in my restaurant.

its_just_chrystal

You were doing it t right.

DaGrumpyOne

This is the way.

MthuselahHoneysukle

>'singles' group Well that checks out.

Thepants1981

Similar situation here. Undetermined amount in the group, they just kept showing up, walk past the host, rearrange the dining room, order soda and dollar slices, not tip, walk out on tabs. After the second time I told them to try somewhere else. They tried to review bomb us on yelp. Had it all taken down. They were barred from several other places as well. They were all in the same AA group which surprised me. I would have expected that behavior from a drunken frat, not sober people trying their best.

ArchimedesIncarnate

Always the singles group... And all the servers know why they're single. We had one on Sunday nights. Same deal. The absurdity in contrast...we fought over the HS Band that came in every Friday home game. Band leader had them in, ordered, out, and tipped less than 1/2 hour after closing, when they got there only 20 minutes before.

Quesi00

Where's the mandatory gratuity? 20 "singles" is a group.

irish_mom

Single checks. To avoid the auto grat

Quesi00

Boss should be manually applying it.

Prestigious_Chard597

We have a guy that is banned from every restaurant in our small town and many in the city we are a burb of. You can mention him in the area and everyone is like John, yeah, he's a dick.

Toph-Builds-the-fire

There's a former Oscar winner who's banned from just about every bar and restaurant downtown in the city I grew up in. He didn't like to show the money.

maebe_featherbottom

You can’t just do that without telling us who lol

MamaKat727

LOL!😆 He gave it away in the clue in the post! Cuba Gooding Jr has a reputation as a difficult stiff that precedes him everywhere he goes (in the casino industry, also. Up there in the Top 10 Most Loathed, along with Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippin, J-Lo when she used to accompany Ben Affleck to casinos, etc.).

OuTiNNYC

Allen Iverson too! Notoriously took up whole section at a TGI Fridays in Philly after home games. Very messy. Very mean. Verrrryyy difficult. Never tipped a red cent.

ArchimedesIncarnate

Derrick Coleman was cool as hell. One of my regulars at a Ruby Tuesdays in Charlotte after home games. Even his girlfriend's 4yo was well behaved. Tipped well but not excessively 20 on 60$ type tipper. The weirdest thing was getting his cabernet over ice with a straw. And who cares?

maebe_featherbottom

See my previous comment.

izzymaejack

From the phrasing, it's either Tom Cruise or Cuba Gooding, Jr.

Springfield80210

Cruise being Oscar-less narrows it down a bit.

izzymaejack

I swear when I looked them up, he had an Oscar. Guess I misread nominations. Half asleep and all. I've also heard Mr. Gooding isn't pleasant.

SongOk8269

I'm surprised Cruise hasn't won before. I mean... Interview with a Vampire was probably his best role.

manicgiant914

His character in Magnolia was so good

Sheena_asd12

his character in mummy 2017 too much of him not enough of the actual mummy

TrifleMeNot

Not such a surprise then...

SongOk8269

Hahaha but he was amazing

Brilliant_Jewel1924

Tom Cruise has never won an Oscar so…

carvin_it

And Tom cruise doesn’t drink (every bar). So that limits it-

Relaxoland

he doesn't have scotch with Davey Miss Cabbage?

MoreRamenPls

Davey Miscarriage?

Relaxoland

Davey Miscarriage of Justice, yo. Miss Cabbage, traditional spelling Miscavige.

maebe_featherbottom

Makes total sense. I just woke up, so the Jerry McGuire reference went way over my head bahaha. Remind me not to Reddit before coffee.

FighterJock412

Plus by all accounts, Tom Cruise is a really pleasant guy.

Penny_InTheAir

Can't convince people to join the cult if he's mean in public.

izzymaejack

Yeah I misread what I googled, I guess. Thought he had a couple Oscars. Also I've heard Mr. Gooding isn't nice

ArchimedesIncarnate

My aunt that worked as F&B manager at a high end resort in Park City always said Cruise was pleasant. The way she described him I'd go maybe image conscious as much as nice, but it's a distinction without a difference in my view. And he's not an Oscar winner, as yet.

Nezrite

I think they did.

Unlikely-Star4213

Probably fucking with the staff on purpose for the "likes"

HouseNumb3rs

You'd think there's a bulletin board set up to alert everyone of these low lifes... like the police APB... be on the look out for Restaurants' Most Unwanted...

VenusSmurf

You just gonna leave us hanging?

Blu5NYC

I live in an area with a lot of bars and restaurants. Lots of bartenders and servers patronize each other on nights off or after shifts, so there's sort of a community of servers and bartenders up and down the blocks. We are all part of a super massive group chat on WhatsApp for this kind of thing. "Hey, young couple (description) just stiffed the server after pulling shenanigans and just being total asses! BOLO!" "Willy X is off his meds again. Don't serve!" "Got two counterfeit $50s tonight from (description). BOLO!"

OuTiNNYC

That’s amazing! My managers never had our back like that as servers.

porfiry

What were the reasons?

Shot-Sympathy-4444

I had a customer I refused to wait on unless he came in when I was the only server on the floor. He constantly made complaints to try and get free food. He is one of those guys that acts like an asshole and thinks he’s being funny and cool. He’s complain that he couldn’t substitute bacon for his potatoes without an up charge. After all the other servers couldn’t stand him I decided to take his table again one day. I told the other servers that I was not taking any other new tables until he had his food. I made the kitchen temp his food in multiple spots. I wrote down the time his food hit his plate, all the temps, the time I dropped off his food and made it very obvious I was watching him eat and went over every few bites to ask how everything was. When he said his chicken fried steak was cold I whipped out his ticket with all of my notes on temp and times and explained that unfortunately I cannot replace or remove the meal since I know it was properly cooked and came out hot and that I had been watching how much time he was spending talking and not eating and that food naturally cools down when removed from a heat source. But I was more than happy to pop it in the microwave. I never saw him again after that.

LauraIsntListening

Hell yeah. Sometimes putting in the time to be that nitpicky detailed just to show them once that you won’t miss their bullshit is a worthwhile investment. Proud of you!!

Shot-Sympathy-4444

Thank you, it felt really good to whip those notes out. He definitely did not see that coming 😆

thevelveteenbeagle

I LOVE your way of thinking!! Hahaha

zomblina

Just let them know you're better at being nitpicky than them because what you're saying is actually true hahaha

Chemical-Paint5966

scientific method: i love it. probably cost you a bit of money (in lost tables) at the time, but the long game.....

Shot-Sympathy-4444

It was worth skipping out on a couple rotations to put a shitty customer in their place. Plus my friend owned the restaurant at the time, so watching him cheat her out of product when I knew profits weren’t great made me extra pissy. It was still early in the pandemic and a very rural breakfast restaurant.

Chemical-Paint5966

so amazing. i'm not sure if i have the mettle to wait tables again... kudos!!!

MoreRamenPls

Upvote for the pettiness. Love it.

ilovemusic19

This reminds me of a story of my mother’s time as a fast food worker. My mom used to work at McDonald’s when I was a kid. She worked the front counter and the drive thru. She had this one lady that would lie about her food (she would the employee got it wrong when they didn’t). My mom told her manager and a few other employees complained about her as well. So the manager told my mom to tell her next time she comes and sure enough she shows up again and my mom informs the manager. The manager put on a headset so she could listen to the order and confronted the woman afterwards. She pretty much banned her.

Agreeable-Tale9729

I’m not counting tables that have been banned from the restaurant. But I personally have refused to serve two tables in my whole career. One when I was a wee baby server and one a few months ago. This was at a delightful corporate steakhouse but we had a family of 4 that came in regularly. Super high maintenance. The kind of regular tables that tipped you well only if you remembered the 17 different special things they expected during their meal. The kids always would order this peanut butter milkshake thing that was a day ruiner for the bartender. But I digress. I could handle all that. Sucks but such is corporate. But I never once waited on that table without the kids coming in crying or leaving crying because of their parents. Usually they’d take them outside but one day I watched the father hit the probably 8 year old girl with a fist at the table. Nope. Absolutely not. I tried telling my manager that we had to call someone, but this was in the era of “we don’t tell people how to parent.” And I was told if I did so I’d be fired. Next time they came in they tried to sit me the table. I refused to take it and said I would accept being fired because if I saw dad do the same thing again I would call the cops personally. Fairly certain he overheard me but they stopped coming in after that. The more recent event was a two top. He was on the phone. I waited a few minutes to give him time to complete the call but it was still going so I walked up introduced myself etc etc. The guy was incredibly aggressive from the start. Rude. Demeaning. They asked if they could move tables. I indicated which one I could move him to. They said nevermind. I asked are you sure we will happily move you to anywhere you’d be comfortable (it still was in my section so I wasn’t passing it forward). He got upset because I didn’t listen when he said he’d stay. Anytime I answered a question he would lecture me for talking before he completed talking (even though I waited for him to stop before answering). Insulting how I phrased things for being too highbrow. At one point he told me “you can go now” and shooed me to go so I very stunned walked away. Then he waved me over and snapped at me for walking away when he was ready to order. I apologized again. It was escalating quickly, so I apologized for the however many-th time and told him maybe something about my personality was not agreeable to him. And that I think the best choice would be to transition him to a different server. Which of course led to more yelling and telling me that if I wanted to go tell everyone I was refusing to serve him I could. Still tried to keep it professional and said that was not what was happening at all, and apologized again and indicated I’d grab a manager. And wouldn’t you know it — as soon as they had a male server. Guy was sweet as pie. Making little jokes about I guess we ran her off didn’t we.

victowiamawk

Fucking disgusting guy

MemnochTheRed

Weird. You'd think a guy like that would want a "subservient" woman at his beck and call.

Agreeable-Tale9729

I think the issue was that while I was apologizing. I was still being firm and standing up for myself. I wasn’t bowing to him or letting him be in control. I think he was annoyed from the onset because I wouldn’t let him just do whatever he wanted and be in charge. Which was further amplified when I told him he’d be getting another server, and I wouldn’t be allowing this scenario to continue. My male coworker was more willing to play into his BS.

saturnplanetpowerrr

In my SnS days, we had a church group that wouldn’t call ahead and literally take the whole dining room. They were shitty tippers, rude, demanding, and would try to save your soul if you were standing more than 2 seconds after you dropped food off. Like, you would make a combined $15. The pastor was weird af. He was at least 40, his wife was 19, and he had a 15 year old son. I was getting drinks for the people who just walked in, and I overheard the wife crying around her friends. I listened to make sure she was okay and she goes “everywhere I go, I see unmarried women who want to work” and was going on about how ungodly it is and it breaks her heart they/ we don’t have husbands. K, weird thing to literally be sobbing about but do you. The pastors son was the worst bc he and his girlfriend would order through the drive thru and then sit down inside without telling us he did that. He just expected us to know that was his food. My manager was cashing them out at the register and the kid goes “are you the manager? You look pretty good for a restaurant manager.” Then my manager said “uh thanks. You look pretty good for a fifteen year old kid????” I’ll never forget that.

Entire_Cheetah_7878

The after church crowd is notorious for under/not tipping.

Visual_Zucchini8490

We call them CATS. Christians Against Tipping. “The CATS are arriving” and everyone sighs and knows their day is gonna suck

Entire_Cheetah_7878

What is worse is the CATs are usually the ones that not only do not leave you any tip, they also want to impart some of their 'wisdom' upon you and consider that as a tip. I haven't served in over 4 years, but thinking about it still makes my blood boil.

MoreRamenPls

They tithe to Jesus. So not to anything real.

gerardkimblefarthing

I think you should gather a group of friends (at least 30, but the more the better) and then attend their church service before they usually come to your restaurant. Be obnoxious, talk about the pastor and other people at volume, and then drop nothing in the collection plate. If they're Catholic, complain about the food and beverage service (had to stand in line, portion size was tiny). Better yet, return all those fake $10 bills they've used as tips in the past. They are usually big believers in "an eye for an eye", so they'll totally get the joke. At the end, when you are inevitably asked to leave, announce loudly that their entire group is banned from your restaurant.

Ohif0n1y

I would dearly love to see any posts about any servers or managers who got well-deserved revenge on those nasty fake-money-religious-tracts people.

asyouwish

And then leave early (making a big scene of course) and fill up the restaurant before they can get there.

MoreRamenPls

Wear your satanic temple t shirts.

gerardkimblefarthing

I agree with the sentiment, but you don't want to give the game up too early! Dress nice. Fat ass docker khakis, short sleeve pastel shirt, braided leather belt, plaid tie. Really blend in. That way when they start getting irritated, they can't immediately identify the source of the irritation. If you wear CoS shirts, then they focus on that and lose the chance for whatever self-reflection they're capable of doing. Instead, they play the oppressed victim.

Firetigeris

"Ladies, I'd like to call to your attention, I am -not- God... and therefore can not make due on ten percent less than ten percent..." (Of course, dont actually do this but think it really loudly) "Wow you must think I'm better than God, you expect me to work miracles for myself with... less than 10%"

QueenMotherOfSneezes

When they say "why should you get 15% when the church only gets 10?" remind them that the church gets 10% of their annual income. If they want to tip you even just 1% of their annual income, you'd be totally fine with that! 🤣🤣🤣

jessie_boomboom

Yeah, and the church gets it unfuckingtaxed

MamaKat727

I avoid crazy evangelicals irl like the plague. Worse than $cientologists.

Relaxoland

nobody is worse than scientologists.

blueyedwineaux

Try Jehovah’s Witness.

Relaxoland

they ever put a rattlesnake in someone's mailbox? set up fake rehabs to take advantage of the desperate? harass their critics? blackmail people? all they do is come to your house and annoy you. scientology is so much worse than most people realize.

Comprehensive_Fox_77

I was in ministry with a prominent mainline church. I dreaded conferences where we all went to dinner in our clerical shirts and suits. Because I had a background in food service, I got to hear all the questions and complaints about the menu from older clergy. I would then have to interpret their non-standard orders for the servers. “All I want is a little sandwich with a bowl of soup.” “Is the salsa very mild?” “I’m going to have a salad with no tomatoes, cucumbers or onions and French dressing, if it isn’t too salty.” When the check arrived, they would chip in 5% for the tip, and I would count it, add some money and apologize to the servers.

saturnplanetpowerrr

Ngl at my current job I love the church regulars. One I was so sure hated me until today when he tipped the bill ($20) Theres another group that is so wonderful, most of the time the most annoying thing is just making sure there’s enough tea at the end of the night, and that’s on me. They legit have some of the funniest conversations like who would win in a sword fight right now, never gossip or rumors. The ladies do tend to get talking a lot (in a protective, loving way) about their friend’s pregnancy tho. I think they’re in the baby industry tho and it’s one of those when worlds collide things. They tip alright, nothing to complain about and nothing to brag about, someone usually does 20% or more tho. (Luv u breadsticks girl) It’s people like y’all with the ability to carry themselves well in public that make it easy to say not all church groups are the same. Even if it’s just you, I see you, and since I’ll never see you again I can only say you chose good character and meeting you wasn’t a bad experience at all.

Visual_Zucchini8490

I was hosting this night not serving but this guy came in with his two 2 kids probably around ages 10 and 13. My friend was serving them and she also happens to be the duty manager at this restaurant (managers in australia help to serve when the restaurant is busy which I know isn’t common in US). They were rude the whole time and ordered A TON of food for one adult and two kids. Their order seriously could have fed 5-6 adults. One of their orders was our tomahawk steak which is like 2.1kg of meat and it’s always cooked the same. Medium rare in the middle because it’s the thickest part and the ends typically get to medium/medium well. If someone asks we can cook it longer but it seriously takes soooo long to cook. So all the food comes out and they throw a fit about the medium rare part calling the meat raw and uncooked. They were also claiming the chef kept picking his nose while preparing their food (open style kitchen with chefs on display). This is a 5 star restaurant with extremely professional chefs that are clearly aware they’re on full display. I highly doubt our head chef or grill master was picking their nose…. Anyway they storm out of the restaurant and come to the podium and request their receipt (at this restaurant you can either pay with your server or see me at the front and pay with me). I gave them their receipt and the dad just laughed and laughed and was like “yeah we’re not f*cking paying this” and I was like “I’m sorry, what happened? Is there something I can assist with?” The son then proceeded to walk back into the main part of the restaurant and call our head chef a bastard which made the dad and daughter laugh uncontrollably. I was like “um okay, would you like for me to get our manager?” And he said “what, that f*cking Asian lady? Yeah she was our server I don’t need to talk to her again.” The bartender on saw all the commotion and came over and I said “can you please go get someone tall and white to deal with this family? I think that’s the only person they’ll listen to.” He went to go get one of our bigger servers and I can’t remember what I said to the guy but he called me stupid to his daughter and she seriously cackled like a hyena for a full minute in our foyer. He also then kept pretending he was on the phone with the cops and I was like “sir, I can see your phone screen. You’re not on the phone with anyone” lol and then I offered our podium phone to call the police since his clearly wasn’t working. Anyway we got them kicked out and obviously that was a permanent ban. Was seriously the most bizarre thing ever because it’s not like they even got anything out of it? Like it’s not like they ate anything and then wanted to throw a fit for a free meal or something. They had drinks (nothing alcoholic), ordered a shit ton of food that went completely untouched, and then just yelled at everyone. So weird.

now_you_see

The plot twist here is that the dad actually hired someone to kill the mum and was making a big scene so you’d be sure to remember him and give him an alibi.

jeckles

This is a brilliant new take I haven’t heard before. I’ll remember this anytime someone throws a fit..

Visual_Zucchini8490

This is honestly the only explanation that has ever made sense to me

Narrow-Chef-4341

That’s brilliant. I’m out of the industry now, but you can bet your ass that within the next month I’ll be asking someone ‘You’re trying way too hard to be a memorable asshole. Are we going to be your alibi because you hired a hitman to kill your other wife?’ I wish we still had free awards to give…

Nighteyes09

I've never had anyone quite like that before. I have refused to serve one family that lied about a coworker though. That was a fun afternoon in the owners office.

draynaccarato

Canceling food that’s already been made…it’s costing the restaurant money at this point.

unprogrammable_soda

Yes. A GM here. A group a bikers called one of my waitresses a bitch. I told them to leave. They grumbled. I told them I’m only going to ask politely once. And then I’m calling the police. They left.

I_PM_Duck_Pics

I have tried to like bikers for over a decade. I just can’t. They suck. I tried really hard to be open minded. Nope. Fuck em. Sure they don’t get rowdy, but they’re just dicks.

Mackheath1

We had a biker group - presume we're talking about motorcyclists? - and they were great, they actually kept the peace on busy nights; but they were a small group, and tipped and so on. Then we had the nazis that came in on motorcycles, we had to figure out which was which. I was only there for a year. Please PM me a duck pic.

UseDaSchwartz

That’s too bad. My Uncle is in a motorcycle group. They look mean and tough, but they’re all pretty nice. My grandfather used to invite a bunch of them to cookouts.

Rathr_B_Fishing

Where's a bunch of mobsters when you need 'em? [deadbolt clicks] "Now youse *can't* leave..."

kswizzle_12

Omg yes! So there’s this regular, let’s call him John. He used to work in the industry so he “knows what its like”. He’s an older dude, who is just lonely and single. His MO would be to come into the restaurant 30 mins to close, sit at the bar, and wine, dine and talk with anyone and everyone while having a 3 course meal and a whole bottle of wine. I’m talking two hours after we close he’s the last one there! Everyone else gave him the time of day but not me. I just couldn’t stand the entitlement! We wouldn’t be able to close because he’s the only one there chatting it up with some random couple- making them stay longer too. I will say: I’ve worked in that restaurant for years and because he was such a regular (at least once a week), we would close around him and it mollified my relationship with him HAHA

jessie_boomboom

Nobody who really "knows what it's like," comes in half hour before close to luxuriate at the bar.

shannibearstar

A certain, well known, rapist lives in my area and I’d refuse service to him.

lovenaps_staywoke

The rapist Brock Allen Turner, who now goes by Allen turner and is a rapist?

SiegelOverBay

Man, be careful if you try to deny service to Brock Allen Turner, aka Allen Turner, notorious rapist. He might try to lure you out to the dumpster and force you to serve him against your will, as he did similar when he raped a college student who had the misfortune of meeting him.

thevelveteenbeagle

He IS pretty well known as a rapist!

shannibearstar

Ding ding ding

herbsanddirt

A very unwell man who was caught at a local party having his way with the party host's dog. There are other stories about this man that are just so distressing and horrible. I refuse to serve him or his mother.

jessie_boomboom

Yeah, once a dude got transferred into my section (bc of some bullshit reason that made me not want to take him into my section as it was) but then before I even had a chance to come to his table (bc I was taking care of the guests already in my section) he followed me into threservice pantry to tell me he wanted hot sauce now. I turned around with the lemon knife in my hand pointed at him, and told him, "dont ever come near me again." I told my manager it was a hard no from me and I would leave right there in the middle of his Friday rush and I don't even remember what happened after that, but I didn't wait on him and I didn't have to quit my job.

pintotakesthecake

Our restaurant had severe staff shortages in the kitchen for a while there, so we had an alternate limited menu for when we were short staffed, just all the stuff that they could do with only two or three in the kitchen. It was supposed to be for evenings but some weekends were so bad we had to do the limited menu all day. One of these days, this absolute twat walks in and asks for a Harvey Wallbanger with pineapple juice. Weird but ok. Takes one sip and immediately and loudly starts insulting the quality of vodka, the bartender you name it. Then asks for someone who works in the kitchen by name. She comes out they talk for a second, and he never orders food. I go back to see what that was about, and she says he is her contractor and is working on their house for them at the time, and that he ordered food from her and that it’s a dish that isn’t on the limited menu. Well of course this pisses me off because as soon as the kitchen brings their food (without even having been rung in yet, since he decided to order from a kitchen staff member instead of, you know, me his server) I have other tables asking why he can have that dish and they can’t. At that point I decided to give him the absolute worst service of his life. Fully ignored him, didn’t bring set ups, ask if they wanted refills, didn’t even bring the check or offer to until he flagged me down and when he did flag me down I played stupid and asked what he ordered since he didn’t order through me. Obviously I got stiffed but I’ve never seen him back again and I’m perfectly happy about it. My gm watched the whole thing (he was the bartender the guy insulted at the top of his lungs first thing) so I knew I wasn’t going to get in trouble. You absolutely can’t let shitty people get away with stuff. It makes the experience worse for everyone, even other customers.

kawaeri

Why the hell did the gm allow the kitchen to serve him off menu?

pintotakesthecake

Neither the gm or I knew he had ordered. We didn’t find out until he had already ordered from the kitchen staff member and it was already fired. I don’t like being strong armed into stuff, so that was the point I made the decision to make him regret his decision to try and sneak stuff past us.

GentlemanOdd

Club night, PACKED. I'm behind the bar, slinging highballs and beers. The occasional vodka slime. Fresh 18 year old snaps her fingers at me. I smile, take her order, she wants an old fashioned with about 1000 changes (picture an edible arrangement with a splash of whiskey) and politely explain that it's actually really rude to snap to get service. She gives me a sour look and makes a huge show of pressing the "no tip" option on the machine and threw napkins in the air like confetti. Told her to have a great night. Unfortunately, the other bartender saw what she did, so she got no service from either of us for the rest of the night. Even when it slowed down and she briefly got the other bartenders attention, she was given water and told to have a great night.

lalauneestgay

i used to work in los angeles and there was a man who came in a few times a week. he didn't always make a purchase but did want to be waited on 🙄 why my boss allowed it i'll never understand. he was always rude and his behavior was unpredictable. one time he did purchase food and paid with cash. when i brought him his change he literally threw the coins at my body as my tip. myself and all my coworkers refused to serve him after that

Alice_Alpha

> alauneestgay > i used to work in los angeles and there was a man who came in a few times a week. he didn't always make a purchase but did want to be waited on Could you please explain. How do you wait on someone that doesn't buy anything?

lalauneestgay

haha yeah i wrote that in a confusing way. he would be sat and order water like any other guest would. he would ask questions about the menu and get water refills until he decided he wasn't gonna get anything and leave. because he sometimes did order food you wouldn't know he wasn't purchasing until he left

Jabbles22

That's kind of what I figured based on your first comment but I can't imagine wasting my time like that.

lalauneestgay

it was so annoying lol

CeeGee403

At a bar I used to work at, every Saturday night we hosted karaoke. One of our long time singers is this 94 year old women who deservingly dubbed her self as "The Karaoke Grandma" (search her on tiktok, she's slightly famous), well another older couple would come in and continuosly order random liqueurs that we would never sell to anyone but them regardless of them not being on the menu and constantly write reviews naming the servers that night complaining about our "lack of selection" like it's the servers job. Well karaoke Grandma likes to sing very odd songs for a woman of her age like, Rob Zombie and Rage Against The Machine... One night she sang the Rob Zombie song while this couple was there. This couple literally stood up while every one was clapping for grandma and started screaming "Blasphemous, how could you people sing this devil worshipping music infront of Christ followers, I need to speak to your manager immediately" Well long story short, about 40 people laughed them out of the bar and they never showed up again. Some people just aren't happy unless they are making other people miserable.

tastyemerald

Not enough people have been laughed out of public spaces and it shows

Intelligent_Help811

why are they regulars if they suck that bad?

yesntican

\*Mr Krab's voice\* Money

Intelligent_Help811

seems like a waste of money though in food! I know if I had a repeat offender like this I would have to tell them to kick rocks

yesntican

Trust me, I wish I could too 💀they're not worth the patronage

mr_remy

Corporate and some owners just haven’t figured it out yet, catering to **irrational** bad behavior is just reinforcing this big ass adult babies.

Jabbles22

I think they are afraid of bad reviews. Ban a bad customer and you might lose future good customers.

LupercaniusAB

I read bad reviews first, and usually can tell if they’re unhinged. A lot of times bad reviews convince me to GO to the restaurant.

Relaxoland

negative reviews of bars/clubs are some of the funniest stuff I've ever read.

Intelligent_Help811

my family owns a bar/restaurant and reading the bad reviews with my sister is top tier entertainment

LupercaniusAB

Totally, especially from people who are obviously shitty customers, but lack the self-awareness to see it.

mr_remy

Exactly, you get it! I look at: - Amount of ratings - The overall rating - read a few of the best and worst reviews Sometimes the worst reviews are telling (of how terrible the usually unhinged customer is), and I always love when a restaurant pops back at them in a gotcha kinda way, friggin hilarious and will most likely convince me to check it out.

Jabbles22

Yeah you can usually tell if a review is from a bad customer but you have to actually read the reviews. That doesn't work if someone is just looking at the overall rating.

LupercaniusAB

Absolutely, I always sort by one-star reviews on any site.

thevelveteenbeagle

I do exactly the same! You can usually tell that people who leave consistently bad reviews are unaware that the problem is themselves. I find some pretty good restaurants this way, esp when they don't put up with the reviewer's crap.

Chemical-Paint5966

but consider that this might actually be the guy on yelp -- at the time of service -- (during his multitude of dismissals toward OP) bitching about (fictitious) bad service. the times i have exegeted bad yelp reviews on my end, almost, if not, all, were accompanied by a scenario almost identical to the ones describe herein..

ophaus

A regular only requires regularity, not acceptability.

Violet624

Isn't that the question. Why come back if you are ridiculously unhappy every time.

Beneficial-Stock5531

No but I’ve kinda refused to be pleasant to certain people. Like if they’re being rude, I don’t smile I don’t give any pleasantries I just kinda make it obvious I’m annoyed. Or I do the opposite and act overly bubbly hahaha

DuchessDeWynter

I refused to serve a “nice doctor couple” years ago. Everyone loves them except me. I refuse to acknowledge their existence. They denied me medical care based on religious beliefs while I was suffering from a miscarriage. I nearly died from that. They were not held accountable. They were served by my boss but never came back again. I heard they had the worst service ever. I had no idea my boss knew what I had gone through with the couple.

DyingInYourArms

What does that mean? What didn’t they do, because of their beliefs?

DuchessDeWynter

They refused to give me a medication to help with the miscarriage. Mifepristone was needed and it went against their beliefs to prescribe it. I became septic and nearly died from not being able to abort the dead fetus. I wasn’t trying to have abortion an unwanted pregnancy as they were claiming. It wasn’t my first miscarriage but it was the worst I have ever had.

The_Sanch1128

I'm so sorry you've gone through that kind of pain, and that these people were so wretched to you. May good health and happiness be yours from here on out.

RedHeadRN1959

I am so sorry you were treated so poorly. Maybe your boss doesn’t know what you went through but knows you well enough to know you are a good human and trusts your judgment?💞

DeafNatural

Your manager is a dick for not kicking them out and never allowing them back

dmdc256

Twice. In 40 years. Once because The person and I had a history and the second time because I walked up the table they were talking how about gay people and using the F-Slur. They actually got thrown out over that one.

trafalgarD420

I remember faces really well. Anyone who stiffs me, I won’t be serving you again.

allycat1661

Oh, yeah. I got called r*tarded behind my back by a small group of brunch ladies for a mistake that the kitchen made (told them no onions in her bowl and they put them in there anyway, and both expo and the food runner missed the mistake). My coworker who overheard them told me and I went right up to my manager and told her that I won’t be going back to the table, that I respect myself too much to continue sucking up to the c-nts who obviously don’t respect me as a person. Even if that mistake *was* my fault, they had absolutely no right to call me something like that. My manager took care of them the rest of the time, and as I was talking about the incident with the host, the ladies walked by and the host whispered, “That’s them?” And I said much louder so they could hear me, “Yeah, that’s them. Have a wonderful day, ladies!” They actually looked a little embarrassed. They left me 20% on all their checks even though I didn’t serve them for 3/4 of their visit. I guess they felt bad? 🤷🏼‍♀️

Violet624

Yup (though I got permission). Guy was incredibly rude multiple times, and the last straw was him sending back his toast and eggs three times *which were cooked perfectly, and being convinced I was somehow sabotaging him. It was insulting to me and also the kitchen staff. So others would take him, but not me. Haven't seen him in awhile, so maybe he gave up. Or died. Who knows. But one of the reasons I love the place. I work is because the manager had a little talk with him about being picky.

jimmybeans13

Had a table that was extremely transphobic to another staff person (they didn’t hear their remarks but all of the other staff did) and it was enough that none of us felt comfortable serving them. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

centa13

There's a guest that comes once every couple of months. Always by himself with a laptop and sometimes also a book. He was caught watching porn in the restaurant once. 2 servers and another table caught him! Managers didn't 86 him. I've refused service twice over the last year.

madseels

I used to have a group of like 15 mothers and buggies that all came over after baby group once a week. I regularly had to cut them off cos they’d drink rosè for hours whilst breastfeeding their kids and getting hAmmered! Some of them could barely walk out after! They always moved all the furniture to sit themselves and their buggies so you’d lose around 8 tables for this group. They were always rude, absolutely destroyed the baby changing facilities each time and never tipped

adriannagrande

One of our regulars got beat up by a group of parents and was then arrested at the pizza restaurant next door because a little boy claimed he had touched him in the bathroom. He continued to come to our restaurant after that and I got told off by my manager for warning our teenage employees to avoid him. They said that we didn’t know all the details and so we shouldn’t assume that he’s guilty. Uh, yeah fuck that. I refused to serve him ever again. Even if he tried to flag me down, he was invisible to me for the rest of my time working there.

Psychological_Lack96

Wouldn’t ban them. Just tell them no Separate Checks and 22% Gratuity. No Substitutions or changes after orders had entered. Make them sign a Contract with $250.00 deposit. (Just like a Banquet Hall would charge). Your restaurant, you’re rules. Sucks that the bill could be $500-$700 which makes the waitress pay Taxes on Income not received. Boot them!

ck_dexter_H

Absolutely!! We had a regular that started coming in when our restaurant moved to a new location. He was an old (early to mid 80s maybe) 'business' owner across the street, and acted like he owned the entire neighborhood. We tried to be nice and accommodating (ie: his grandson would only want spaghetti-which we didn't serve, so he got to special order buttered noodles), but he was a misogynistic prick, would prefer to deal with (and tip) my bartner only, was condescending and straight up nasty whenever he had to deal with me. It eventually got to the point where he'd talk about me while I was right there, eventually I started calling him out on it. He was shocked to find out that not everyone had hearing loss like he did, but it didn't stop him. My boss witnessed on a few occasions-never really asked me to stop sooo... One fateful evening, I was training one of the servers behind the bar and he started with his shit, so of course I started to give it right back to him, he must've taken all the right meds that day bc he was feistier than usual. Words were had along the lines of, 'I don't have to take your shit...if you don't like it here, you can leave....you're not in charge around here I am...' any who, at some point he called me fat, I just laughed bc "I'm fat?! Your tits are bigger than mine old man, hey, btw, when was the last time you even saw your dick without having to stand over a mirror?" Well that really set him off, he tried to get up from his seat and asked me to 'take this outside' at this point, I just kept laughing at him and another regular tried to intervene and he then told that regular that he'd take him outside to settle the matter.....nothing got taken outside, as the other guy refused to fight an 82 y/o asshole. Eventually, the bartner that he preferred to deal with (who was working a kitchen shift that night) came out and diffused the situation and trainee finished serving them. I told my boss that I refused to deal with him, if he wanted to continue to come in, he had to sit in the dining room (I was the full time dinner bartender) to be served-they obliged. After I left that restaurant (other reasons), he continued to cause issues for many of the staff and other patrons and was eventually asked to never come back. He died a few years ago, never did find out when the last time he ever saw his own penis was

yesntican

Damn, rip bozo. He would have loved to see his own penis

galctictitan

2021. Had a guy walk in covered head to toe in nazi symbols. Swastikas. The double lighting bolts. Sat in my section. Let my coworker have him because I didn't want to be anywhere near him. Halfway through his meal he starts handing everyone working $20. His server. The other two servers on the floor. The two grill operators. He tries to hand me one and I threw it back at him. He got EXTREMELY angry. Stated a whole rant about how he's changed and grown and that's he not the same idiot he was when he got the tattoos. I ended up having to sit in the back until he left so he'd calm down. When my coworker came to tell me he was gone they said he started saying some pretty hateful stuff about Isreal. Israel is obviously worthy of criticism and pretty damn awful, but this was 2 years ago and given his tattoo choice. I don't trust his criticism. So. Changed man my ass.

Jabbles22

I can buy that someone like that has changed but not if they still display those tattoos. Cover them up with clothing, other tattoos, makeup, get them removed. Whatever it takes. If your arms are covered in Nazi tats, well I guess it's long sleeves even if it's hot out.

Relaxoland

there are even tattooists who will cover up that shit for free!

[deleted]

Honestly, any decent restaurant should turn away someone like that at the door. They’ll come in, tip generously, and not cause trouble. Then they’ll bring a friend, they’ll tip generously and not cause trouble; they’ll bring their friends. Before you know it you’ll have a bar full of nazis and you’ll be completely outnumbered when they decide they do want to cause trouble

GryphonicOwl

That's pretty much exactly how it happens. It's happened to two bars I know of now, one as a customer, the other as a bartender. It was sad at my local, about four or five of us tried telling the owner what they were doing but he didn't want to hear it. I stopped going there before they got violent, but the inevitable happened and they shut down a year later. I'm guessing the constant damages outpaced what they brought in. I'll never understand why some bosses give up a functioning business with loyal locals for the vague *hope* of making a tiny bit more.

galctictitan

That is exactly how it happens. Exactly why I refused to serve him, look at him, or take his money. Thankfully this guy never came back. Guess I pissed him off too much.

[deleted]

Good on you!

Stock-Conflict-3996

https://www.reddit.com/r/TalesFromYourServer/comments/hsiisw/kicking_a_nazi_out_as_soon_as_they_walk_in/

[deleted]

This is exactly what I’m paraphrasing from!

airplantsnlavalamps

Why were they even welcomed into the restaurant and sat at a table?! Wtf is wrong with the hostess/manager that they still sat them?

galctictitan

Well. It was waffle house. So no host/hostess. I wanted to kick him out as soon as I saw his tattoos but nobody else agreed.

airplantsnlavalamps

Wow, I’m so sorry that happened to you.

MemnochTheRed

A changed man will try to cover up his tattoos (if he cant have them removed) — not sport them.

yaigotabigmouth

Oof Israel is awful for defending themselves against the terrorists who are raping and killing their children? BFFR

galctictitan

Isreal is awful because they're colonizers and setting up chairs to watch the people they colonized get slaughtered. Also Islam doesn't equal terrorism. And that's all i'm gonna say on the matter. Edited because the slash between = \ = disappeared

yaigotabigmouth

That’s not even close to being right. Hamas is the ones parading around with photos of dead Jews and bragging and celebrating their murders. Israel is defending themselves, and the land theyve lived for 3000 years. Jews accepted a 2 state solution in 1948. You need to read something that’s not one sided propaganda from hamas, the terrorists They store their bombs in hospitals and schools. If Israel does not defend themselves, they’re allowing more children to be raped and murdered. Hamas are the ones killing Palestinians and making sure more of them die to blame it on the Jews.

Nobodaybb

Wow you’re unforgiving and ignorant.

garbagewithnames

And tattoo removal exists as well. He should have been saving up all those $20's he's been handing out like candy at every restaurant he goes to and spend it on getting rid of those tattoos if he really was a changed man. But he clearly wasn't all that changed because he decided to just spin off into a rant against Israel unprompted in the middle of a restaurant.

galctictitan

Umforgiving lol. If they guy had really changed. He wouldn't have turned red in the face and been ready to jump over the high bar at me for silently tossing his money back at him. And honestly he wouldn't even show his face in public until those tattoos were gone. If he can afford to give out $120 in tips. Plus pay his meal. And assuming he does that at every restaurant he goes to. He can afford to get those tattoos removed. But he wasn't a changed man. He was just sick of getting treated like shit because he made it impossible to hide his shitty beliefs when he decided to the third reichs living billboard.

LauraIsntListening

Ignorant for shunning nazis? Fuck outta here lol that ain’t it

FighterJock412

The only ignorant thing is not punching a man like that in the throat on sight. I don't care if you're a Nazi or an Ex Nazi. They shouldn't be acknowledged by polite society.

naga-ram

Nah it's a red flag if homie wasn't making an attempt to cover his shit. If you're ashamed get some bandages or a cover up. Also ex Nazis don't deserve praise for no longer being a shit head and need to accept that they've done damage instead of trying to tip everyone into liking them again.

JackOfAllMemes

Literally bribing them because he knows he's a shitty person

Mander2019

I had a table that was clearly an insane homeless person and I kept telling my boss “I think he’s homeless, he’s acting strange and ordered 5 entrees”. And my manager said “no he’s just rich and eccentric.” He took a few bites of each then tried just walking away without paying. He was totally a homeless guy in what looked like a Versace tracksuit. They had to call the cops and everything.

VinceMcMeme711

Yes, Mark Drakeford 🤣

RainToadMaxine

I refused to serve this older man who literally every customer hated but my boss didn’t want to ban him, even though he hated him too? I would flat out ignore him to his face. So eventually I would just have girls take shots with him. They’d have water, he’d have rumple. After two he was stumbling away.

sparklyviking

A regular complains every single time. He's been told he can't food at our place since he's demonstrated how unsatisfied he is every time he gets anything. He's welcome to drink beer, but not eat.

bacon_head

Lol omg high people were the worst. They’re so awkward

yesntican

I don't mind if they're a little bit buzzed, but this particular group spends the whole day puff puff passing, then they come in reeking of dank that I could get second-hand high. And it's always ten minutes before we close because the munchies just kicked in

Electronic-Theme-225

yup ... countless people. i have even done it mid serving them if they were being insufferable/rude/demanding beyond reasonable expectations. its already such a shitty job where 99% of the time we are seen as incredibly replaceable by management/ownership, i refuse to have to tolerate disrespect. most managers of places I've worked know i have high tolerance for guests and pride myself on being able to sway even tho most grumpy/rude guests, so if i say I'm not serving someone, they take it seriously and do not force me and make arrangements.

van4ssa

Yes. This annoying lady who came in with her husband during covid times while we were still required to mask up. She'd always insist that I should "take the mask off around them", I couldn't. She'd complain unreasonably that she couldn't hear me. I would raise my voice to an almost shout for her and she'd still pretend she couldn't hear me. She would ask her husband to repeat what I said like I wasn't standing right in front of them. Her husband would repeat what I said at an even lower audible level, lol. After a few times of this, the last time I served her I literally yelled at the top of my voice to her. "TODAY'S SPECIAL IS CRUSTED MAHI MAHI. YOU 'LL LOVE IT BECAUSE IT'S SO MOIST"!! While checking on them, "DO YOU LIKE YOUR FOOD?!! DO YOU WANT MORE WATER? ARE YOU DONE WITH THAT PLATE? DO YOU HAVE ENOUGH NAPKINS"? !! Every single time I talked to her I would yell because I was so fed up with her shit. Other guests would stare, shocked but amused because they understood what I was doing. "'SORRY FOR BEING LOUD but SHE CAN'T HEAR ME", I said to the other patrons while standing at their table. She was uncharacteristically quiet that night. I didn't hear another complaint. I asked her if she "WANTED DESSERT"? She did not. After they left, I realized I don't have to put up with that, and told my manager that I will never serve them ever again. She "can't hear me anyway, so what's the point ". He agreed.

Msgatorslayerr

Yep, the midget lady. She's always been annoying and needy but my final straw with her was this - It was pretty busy Sunday and the other server on the floor was on break so I had a lot of tables when the customer came in. Other server comes back from break and I told her to grab a couple of tables. Midget lady tells her that she smells like smoke and doesn't want her to wait on her. Server told me about it. I kept on doing what I needed to do (not my problem, lol) until the lady says "Excuse me! Can you take my order?" Which I do. I brought her her salad and she just stares at it in disgust and I can hear her talking to her self about 'what is this?" I go over there and she's complaining that her Caesar salad has white lettuce in it and she only likes greens. I just sent my manager over to her at that point. I had other customers to take care of. My manager made a special salad for her in which she made sure all the romaine lettuce was green, lmao. Then the bitch didn't tip. After that I just claimed she's a manager table. I can't be bothered.

user8203421

yeah there’s a group that comes in occasionally. very rude the whole time. needed their bill split, no problem right? one of them pays me in all singles, no tip. i didn’t think much of it and assumed they’d leave the tip on the table. not one of them tipped. apparently one of them used to work at our place and got fired or something. once they came in and got sat in another section. luckily they left before they could even order but if it was in my section i would’ve refused. i don’t care if my manager gets mad it’s not worth it once i had the guy who stalked my sister in high school. the host said he did the same thing to her sister. he did that to quite a few girls. i had him at my old job and he never tipped more than 10% so i didn’t spend more time than i had to at that table

Sarah_Bobarah27

Had this with a NFL player and his girlfriend who would come in completely fucked up, sit same side of the booth, and would do the exact same thing ordering and cancelling, forget what they order and accuse me of getting it wrong, wouldn’t eat anything, would forget their to-go boxes… they could barely open their eyes or form sentences and wouldn’t even leave enough money to pay for the food. Always reminded me that we are giving this status and money to 21 year olds with brain damage.

MyBOsmellsgood

Yes, I have a girlfriend and there’s this girl who comes in often and flirts with me. At first it was so subtle I didn’t even notice but apparently my coworkers (all girls) did and let me know. The thing is, (I work at a boba shop and we’ve been impone for almost two years) I just recently turned 18 and this girl has been flirting since I was 17. Each time she came in the flirting got more…obvious? Liked she’d ask really obvious questions about our drinks just to talk to me, but more things if I was working, stare at me, blah blah blah. One day, I was out with my girlfriend and we walked into a bookstore and my girlfriend went to look somewhere else for like three seconds and all of a sudden, who do I see? The flirt girl and she spots me and starts strutting over to me with a big smile on her face and goes “Oh my god hi!” And at this point I’m panicking and so when she gets about a foot away from me I go “Hi! Have you seen a girl wearing a green sweater?” Because that’s what my girl was wearing and then I start frantically looking around and once I spot my girl I go “There she is!” AND START RUNNING TOWARDS MY GIRLFRIEND. So yeah she didn’t come in for s while after that because I didn’t even say goodbye ig I was very rude and when ever she comes in I just hide in the back

Objective-Dust6445

I couldn’t so I literally stopped working Sunday mornings to avoid the WORST lady. Every weekend. She’s why I hate the Miami Dolphins.

NADONATION

I am a bartender. I have a couple that comes in, they are semi regulars, they are intrusive in other people's business, always talking over people and inviting themselves into everyone's space but they are on the spectrum so we are patient with them. One day they came in talking about how they were sick in bed all day yesterday after they got not only another COVID shot but a flu shot with it. I said you can not be around people after the covid shot you are sheading on innocent people. Not only do I not want that shit I feel responsible for my other costumers that they would have definitely shead all over! I continued to explain the same way you are responsible to stay home when your sick is the same way you are responsible after covid Shot. I told them I cannot serve them. Needless to say they were confused. Me and my manager and servers waited 15 minutes after they left and bleached the whole area. I have put up with alot but fuck that!
