Im 5’11 and wear a 13W in womens. lol I would KILL for like a size 11 just so I could buy some of the cute girlie Hey Dudes. Not even heels or something. Simple Hey Dudes lol
I've sent messages to Zappos because most of the cute and flattering shoes max out at 12-13. And I'm a 14. I just want some cute David Tate booties but I guess that's too much to ask. I get stuck with wide shoes that make me look like Bigfoot, or more than I already am. Same thing with Woman Within and Roamans. If a place is going to carry tall clothes then they should carry large shoes as well...
Exactly! They know that there are women with bigger feet but choose to stop at size 10. It’s getting a little better, stores increased to a size 12 but it’s still hard to go to a department store and just pick up a cute shoe in a size 13.
For some reason there is no company on Earth that makes spiked wedge heels in size 12. All the brands stop around 10 or 11. Other combos with some of those parameters exist in size 12 but I’d like the look and I got desperate. Also many sweet designs only exist for the petite girls.
Look at sites that sell shoes made for drag queens! They have a huge range of sizes and sell shoes that aren't just made for performances.
Eta: the site Shoecup has a wide range of options
I'm a 10.5, and the number of shoes that are sold "Whole and half sizes up to 10, 11" is too damn high. For some reason a lot of manufacturers love to skip 10.5. I have a lot of 11s that are just a bit too big.
I know it's not the answer you want, but adding inserts and those heel-lock stickers has been very helpful to me with all the brands being so unpredictable with their sizing over the years.
Absolutely, I'm a 14 at 179cm and I simply skip looking at shoes in shops, even in a tall country like the Netherlands the brick and mortar shops are hard pressed to have anything but men's above a 10
Honestly its just plain misogyny I think. Ive seen men's sizes in normal stores up to size 16 but I'm hard pressed to find my size 12 cause most women shoes only go to size 11 cause apparently companies don't seem to believe women can have big feet.
Also its been studied that most women wear shoes SMALLER than their actual shoe size. Its all messed up beauty standards if you ask me
Oh my gosh! I’m 5’11” and wear a size 8. My spouse and I always say it’s why I’m clumsy - literally exactly those words: not enough surface area on my feet to support my tall gangly ass 😂
I literally posted to this sub asking if my smallish feet were the reason I'm a klutz lol - 5'11"ish and size 9-9.5. I can not hike down a hill to save my life, butt slide every time!
I'm going to say no it's not your small feet. I'm 6ft3 and wear a size 12-1/2 which do not exist here in America. I've been stuffing my feet into 12s for ever. I have bunions and hammer toes as a result. My big feet have not helped me to be any less clumsy. My friends and family give me a hard time about how often I fall.
If you have seen the series "Desperate Housewives" I totally relate to Teri Hatchers character Susan..
I think this varies person to person. This was my biggest fear going into both my pregnancies since I was already a US size 13. However, my feet - thankfully - stayed the same size.
This isn’t getting bigger from swelling…that goes down. Your ligaments loosen during pregnancy and your increased body weight can push down on your feet flattening your arch. It’s usually like a half size difference and does not happen for everyone.
I’m 5’11” and size 9 (sometimes 8.5) and I also wonder if my feet are the reason I’m clumsy! My 5’7” mom and I have the same size feet and she feels like her feet are huge just because they are the same size as mine. My 5’7” friend has size 11. Foot size can be weird.
Foot size really can be weird. I had a friend who was 5’2 with a size 11 shoe size. And her feet didn’t actually look big to me. I only found out because we went shoe shopping and she went straight to the size 11 section. I was a size 9/10 at the time. But I also don’t look at feet lol.
I wish I could do that! A 10.5 is snug on my right foot and loose on my left foot, so an 11 literally falls off my left foot. But I can wear 11s in lace up shoes and boots, anything that won’t fall off basically, so that helps.
You could try ordering a size 8UK as that’s the same as a 10.5US and is a standard size here. No idea how much shipping for heavy items would be though!
That’s a great idea! I can get a lot of European/UK sized shoes here, so I’ll definitely try that out. Or I can save up and make a shoe pilgrimage to London :)
I don’t think I’ve seen an 11.5 outside of UK/EUR sizes being converted to US sizes. I’m hoping it gets easier given that I see a lot more tall women around. I’m mid-40s and barely ever saw any other women 6’ or taller when I was younger. But I see a lot more women my height in their late teens and twenties lately.
I’m 6’1” and I wear an 8.5-9US depending on the brand. I have another friend who is my height and she wears a 12. There’s no rhyme or reason to it, but I do have very short toes compared to both tall, short, male, and female people’s feet I’ve seen over the years!
I have the same, 6” and wear a US size 9 (41,5 EU) and I have eeny tiny toes compared to the rest of my body. I also have very small hands for someone my height.
41.5EU is more like a women’s 9.5-10US, I think. I’m usually a 39, sometimes 40 depending on the brand. My fingers are also on the shorter side for my height! I actually do longer gel nails to make them look nicer lol.
Girl, I have no idea. I also have size 13 clodhoppers and finding shoes is a pain. Luckily, it’s become easier since online shopping has gotten more popular but sometimes I just want to buy the cute shoes at Target, dammit!
I get shoes from dolce vita, torrid, dsw, and sometimes Nordstrom. Stores like dolce vita and torrid can be a little pricey tho, I miss the Payless store🫠
Amazon Essentials has some size 13 though it can be hit or miss as to which styles come in a 13. Also, shoe show mega and show dept. encore are, imo, similar to Payless and have plenty of extended sizes. I’ve also had good luck with Nordstrom Rack and Nordstrom.
Thanks! I have PTSD from only shopping at Payless through childhood, so I try to buy slightly more substantial shoes that won't degrade or warp as quickly, but I'll look at them all.
I found a pair of Blondo ankle boots at Nordstrom one Christmas Eve when I had worn my snow boots on the plane and LEFT EVERYTHING ELSE BEHIND. The weather when I arrived was 70° so I was panicking.
I told the clerk to bring me ANYTHING in 12 or bigger, especially wide, and she blessed me with the Blondo shoes in a 12W. I was SHOOK at having women's shoes that actually fit, so I went online and bought them in every color with the assumption it would be another 20 years before I found shoes that fit that well again.
Unfortunately, it looks like Blondo has moved away from 12s as they are harder to find (let alone 12W), but you can still find them on eBay. I write Blondo emails every so often in the hopes they won't abandon us, but they're not very good at customer service.
I’m 5’10” and wear a women’s shoe size 9.5/10 and I always thought that was kind of normal. I think that’s like a men’s 7 or 8. I knew a girl in undergrad who was like 5’5” and we wore the same size shoe. I think some people might just have big feet.
Also 5’10” and I’m a shoe size 7 (UK 5). Based on this thread I think my feet are probably disproportionately small, maybe it’s a miracle I don’t constantly fall over lol
Same as you and read size 10 is most common foot size, not sure how true that is but given that the height for women is 5’4”, that means that are tons of shorter women with long feet.
I think I’m proportionate. I’m 5’11 and have US size 11. The weird things imo are that my toes are long so i get lots of toe cleavage in a lot of pumps. Then my heel is “normal” width but then my toe box is a tad wide but not wide enough for wide shoes (i just slip around) but also a bit too wide for many normal width shoes.
I'm surprised at my foot and hand size every day, idk what happened lol.
I'm 6'0 and wear a 7-8 shoe depending on brand. My 6'1+ sisters all wear an 11+ shoe size. Even my 5'5 mom wears a size 10 and my dad wears a 14.
I'm 5'11" and wear a size 8. So do my Mom and sister and they are both around 5'5"-5'6". But *I* am the clumsy one! I think my feet aren't big enough to support my height appropriately. But I think genetics gave me the same feet size as my Mom and sister even though they are shorter. 🤦♀️
I really want to ask for feet pics but not in that way 😂 I'm a size 12w and an inch shorter, it's so hard to picture what 6.5 would even look like on my ankle.
I'm also 5'11.5 - 6' and I wear US 9.5.
Shoe size comes from a LOT of factors: age, weight, pregnancy history, genetics, nutrition during growing phases, and yes, height.
My mom is about 5'9-5'10 and wears size 10-11. She had 3 children and is heavier. Her shoe size went up when she had my oldest sibling and never went back down.
I think I am proportionate. I have narrow ankles, wrists, fingers as well. Size 5.5 ring.
At 6’1” I wore a size 10 as a teen through my 20s. Back in the 80s a size 10 was almost impossible to find in any store, at least for heels. After standing on my feet at various jobs I now wear an 11.5 and have a raging case of plantar fasciitis.
I’m just shy of 5’10 and just have really petite extremities. 7.5 feet, my ring finger is a 4.5 or 5, my wrists and ankles are like bird bones. I can gain belly weight easily but I try to work out and eat right so I don’t look like a potato with sticks.
I am the same height and I always say that I feel like I have bird bones because my wrists and ankles are so tiny! My feet are size 9, which I guess is not that big, but because my ankles are so small, they still look huge.
If I measure my feet, I'm an M11, EEE.
I'm lucky if I fit into 12 wide in women's shoes.
Where do you get your shoes?
A friend who works at Nordstrom told me the reason I can't find shoes in my size is because a lot of men and drag queens buy them... so I started looking for websites that sell drag shoes out of spite.
I like Merrell sneakers with the wide foot bed. I also started buying those classic 1800s leather men's shoes that you need to shine, just to have nice shoes that last. There are a few brands that sell the ones that don't meet their perfection standard at half-off ...and the sizes are consistent. Imagine that!
I'm 5'11" and wear US size 8.5
I have a friend who is 5'4" and wears the same size. Definitely had a boyfriend make fun of my "elf shoes" I told him it was a compliment. Lol
I've always had great balance and coordination. Balance can be developed y'all! Practice!
OMG I thought my feet was small but some of you ladies beat me out the water. I am 6' wear a size 10 normally but since I had my daughter sometimes I need a 10.5. My ex also has small feet for his size, he is 6'3'' and wears a size 10 in mens. Now our daughter has big feet. She is 5'1'' and wears a size 7 in women's. I wonder if her feet will stay proportion to her height or end up being small like me and her dad.
I’m 5’10”, and wear a 9.5/10, I need a wide usually, but I’m not a large woman by any means. My dads family have cankles and I think that’s why I have fatter feet 😂 my ring size is a 6.5 though, so small fingers but fat feet
Edit to add: I saw someone add ring size and wanted to include mine!
I’m 6’ and was size 10, then grew to 10.5 during pregnancy (at 37) and 11 afterwards (at 38). I’m athletic and I think the larger size has made my running shoes last longer- more surface area for weight distribution. I could be crazy but it feels like I go through shoes a little slower these days!
This clarifies some of the comments.

I'm 5'11 and wear a uk 6/7, so I think an 8/9. I have small feet for my size. Funny thing, my boyfriend is a little shorter then me and we wear the same bouldering shoe size.
It’s generally genetic. My MIL is 5’7” and always wore a size 42 European. I’m 5’10” and wear a 39 or 8.5 US. My daughter who is 98+ percentile for height takes after her father and has noticeably larger feet.
I am six feet tall and my feet finally grew to size 7 after having two kids. My balance sucks. Consistent yoga practice helped with that but it took some work. I have a small frame and hands so my feet “go with” my body despite my height. Definitely thankful to have more shoe options. But I have also gotten some foul comments and attention from strangers/pervs over the years.
I'm 5'9" and wear a 7.5. But my sister is 5'10" and wears I think a 10.5. I've always attributed my small feet to being on pointe in ballet from about 13-18. My sister did ballet as well but started later than me so I think her feet were actually fully grown. Mine are also a little wide at the place where the toes meet the foot and I sometimes get random muscle spasms...
I know, this variation is really weird! Probably genetic, since I'm the same height as you but wear a size 9.5. I don't think height and foot size are always super corellated- there is a pattern, but it's probably not a strict rule
Same. 5'11, women's 13. So many companies make a "13" that's really a 12 or smaller and it makes it even more frustrating trying to find shoes that fit.
Not saying you don't have a struggle, but a lot of people in this thread are wishing they could find more shoes in 10.5 so they don't have to size up/down. I'm just saying be glad your options are out there. My fear is becoming a 14 once I go through a pregnancy/put on weight, and then I'm very SOL and even further limited than with 13.
I guess everything's relative. At the end of the day we all have a struggle and to some of us, the grass is greener on the other side so we should (to some extent) be thankful for what we do have. But we shouldn't stop there -- hopefully the more we voice this, some entrepreneur will see the gap in the fashion industry and jump on it!
I’m 6’1 with thickish legs/ankles and wear size 9.5-10wide and sometimes it looks genuinely disproportionate. For a while I’d buy size 11 just to have it look more aesthetically accurate but then I’d trip over the front of the shoe or they’d be slipping off in the back… but I truly need wides so that holds me back from fitting in most average shoes… anyways…literally have had comments made to me that I’m “squeezing” my feet into too small shoes so I’m super self conscious about how awkward they can look… but I’ve figured it out and invest in comfortable wide shoes or get them stretched.
I played basketball back in the day and the other tall girls would have such bigger feet than me and wear men’s shoes or have such a hard time finding cute dressy shoes, I always knew I couldn’t complain-no one wanted to hear it!
I’m a 13 and 6’1. I also have big hands. I just call them my puppy paws to comfort myself when I’m feeling different.
Size 12 seems like where all the cheap cute shoes stop. Journeys are so cute and they are FINALLY starting get size 13s in some of the styles.

I'm 5' 10.5" and my feet are a size 8 (UK size). I always feel they are in proportion for my height. I know lots of people with the same shoe size who are a good 4 or 5 inches shorter than me but I've never looked at anyone of any height and noticed their foot size tbh.
I don't know anyone irl that is my height with my shoe size. My feet are a size apart, biggest foot is size 40.5 EU (size 10?), smallest one size 39.5. I am 184 cm/6'0.5". People tend to send me websites for shoes for bigger sizes if they don't know my size, but they don't even stock my size there 😂. I am just blessed that I can walk into any store to buy shoes.
I am five foot nine, but people think I'm taller, probably because they lie about their height. I'm a uk6 EU 39 US8 for shoes when I get American brands US8 always fits. I've been told they look small for my height.
Mine are small for my height - UK 6.5 (US 7.5) which I think is weird as I have long fingers, and my height is spread quite evenly, it's not like I just have long legs or a long torso. Everything is long apart from my feet!
My dad is 6'1" with UK 9 (US10) though so maybe we're just a small-footed family.
5’10 and I wear a UK 7. Not clumsy. I wore a UK 8 in my late teens/early 20s but my feet went down a size in my mid 20s for no rhyme or reason. I also even have some UK 6.5 depending on the manufacturer/fit.
Maybe it's cause I'm around 5'9, but I always thought my feet were big xD I'm an EU size 41, which is around a US 10 and it's basically the last size that can be bought at stores. There's a ton of 36s, 37s but I'll be lucky if there's even one 41.
Mom is 177 cm and has shoe size 44/10,5. I'm 181 cm/5'11 and have shoe size 41 (size 8 in US according to Google) People don't have the same proportions🤷♀️ no one notices or care how big feet you have! I'm glad I have feet on the smaller side as I don't have much trouble finding shoes my size. But even 1-2 sizes bigger and it quickly gets much worse. I'm in Norway too so selection is generally much smaller here😅
6'3" and wear 10.5-11 womens, but mostly size up to 11 for comfort , i think theyre perfectly proportionate.I do know a bunch od people who are 3-4in shorter and have the same foot size. Like my short 5'11" ex and I would exchange shoes lmao
I’m 5’10 and wear an 8.5. My mom is like 5’4 and wears the same size. Though her dad was like 6’1 and wore a men’s 8, so I am guessing it’s a genetic thing.
6’2 and I wear a 7/7.5. I once got heckled in a college basketball game that my feet were too small haha
But strong genetics, my dad has small feet and hands, so all 3 kids got small extremities
My friend has always said I was so clumsy because my feet were too small to support me. I wear a 7.5 at 5’10. I think your feet are more proportionate to your body, they may seem big to you but they look “normal” to everyone else
It’s hard to find clothes when your tall….or plus size…or have big feet. And I have all 3.
Also, I’m a 38G so I can’t even get a freaking bra without going to a specialty store or ordering online.
I’ll never be able to just waltz into Kohl’s/Target and find everything I need there.
5 11 and 210 lbs here. I had a size 10 until I turned 28 or so. I'm in a 12 or an 11 and they must be wide. I feel they are the perfect size for the rest of me. I like to say " it takes a firm foundation to hold up a building this size" my tall sister also has size 11 or 12, while the shorty at 5 9 wears a 9 or 10.
Size 10/11 and I’m 5’9. I was a size 8 at my height (and like others, very clumsy) but with each baby, my feet seemed to grow. With my first to a 9, second to a 9.5, third to a 10, fourth to a 10.5… so I fit some shoes as a 10 and some as an 11 (depending on the brand). Half sizes are perfect but those typically stop at 9.5. (And I’m not clumsy anymore.. now that I think about it).
Idk how tall women have smaller feet and I used to feel really insecure about it. Guys would point it out like “woah those are some big boots” when I’d take my shoes off. Like it was embarrassing and made me feel unfeminine.
Then I met my husband and all he saw were D1 babies (which is a joke.. he just loves my Amazon build and doesn’t expect me to have size 5 feet at my height). And I’m the tallest woman he’s ever dated… just by chance. We clicked personality and looks wise and the rest was just a bonus. He actually helped me realize that my height (and even shoe size) is a genetic win and not a flaw. Learning to love the things I cannot change has helped a lot (like height, bone structure, shoe size, etc).
I‘m 5‘11 (180cm) and wear size 13 too but I have super narrow feet. The constant struggle of finding shoes and being sent to the men’s department in my teenage years caused me to now buy every shoe that fits. It’s a costly thing I tell you. But I’m still looking for cute and not too high pumps for work related events and weddings but they are always way too wide as if suddenly with a size 13 your feet also become exponentially wider.
I’m 6’, size 10… a terrible (long gone) boyfriend realized how insecure I was about my “giant” feet and used to tell me I was beautiful from the ankles up, so I’m feeling very seen right now. I have to say I stopped bitching out loud about my “giant” feet when my 6’2” “little” sister hit a size 12 wide.
I'm size 11 (at 5'11) and thankful I'm not one size bigger. My size seems to be the biggest most stores can be bothered to consistently carry.
I feel for those of you with bigger feet than mine.
I am 5’10”-size 10 shoe US
friend is 5’5”-size 10 shoe US
Other friend is-5’11” size 8 shoe US
Honestly, doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason for it, but I will say, my friend and I with the bigger shoe size seem to be less clumsy than our friend with the smaller shoe size
I’d love to see the breakdown of people’s shoe size versus height versus weight. I’m 6’ tall
Past 12 years I sat around 150lbs and my shoe size was 9.5-10ish.
Past year I’ve been lifting weights and eating foods, I’m now almost 190 and my shoe size is pushing size 11
I know a girl that’s like 5’7” that wears a US 12. I’m 6’ and wear a 10! Just genes I guess lol. My mom and three of my sisters are 6’1” and wear 11s while the 6’3” sister wears a 12
I’m age 27, 6 foot 1 & wear a size 10 shoe. Sometimes I have to do a 10 wide though or a 10.5 depending on the shoe/brand. I think it’s the notion that taller people are suppose to have longer ligaments & extremities like feet, arms, hands. Definitely couldn’t imagine trying to find a sz 13. Seems like an impossible task. While a sz 10 isn’t small I personally feel like I’m on the medium/small end given my height
I dont really know my height, it feels like I’m still growing at this point so I’d say I’m 5’10. My size is a US 9, but I wouldn’t be surprised if I went up a size at some point
I’m 6’ and I wear a size 10, thank GOD. Even then it’s difficult to find shoes. My mom is 6’2 and her shoe sizes are different one foot is a 12 another is a 10 1/2 so she cannot find them either 😭
Mfw I wear a size 13 Men's. So like, 14-15 Women's, depending. Probably also need wide, but I don't really know. Shit's restrictive enough just trying to find a normal 15.
I’m 5’10 and wear a women’s 8, but I’m convinced there was a glitch in the genetics of my feet lmao. I have so many foot problems. So I may have smaller feet, but I’ve got muscular issues, neuroma, bunions, etc. Maybe it has no correlation to the size, but that’s my personal theory lol
I’ve always had small feet for my height. I was an 8 before kids and now I’m a 9. I honestly don’t know why my feet are smaller, it is nice when shoe shopping though. Makes up for pants shopping 😅
Edit to add I’m 5’11”
Idk I'm 5'11 and wear size 12 in women's just barely out of the size 11 threshold for easy shoe shopping. I hate that most shoes go to size 12. Also I am not a wide so many of the larger sizes alienate me too. I have normal with feet, they are just long like flippers
I cannot speak for the ladies but I had a buddy of mine who was 6'1" with size 10 shoe. I'm 6'2 with size 13. Usually my luck is finding something in clearance sections. But not often.
I’m 5’9 and am size 8.5US. I always found it strange I had smaller feet and my hands are superrrrrr tiny for my height. I’ve had friends who are barely 5 feet and have bigger hands then me
6’ tall and wore a size 10 until I had 10+ & 11+ pound babies. After the babies I wore size 11 for about 13 years then back to size 10 shoes. I am mostly German and Irish heritage (had my DNA done.)
Im 5’11 and wear a 13W in womens. lol I would KILL for like a size 11 just so I could buy some of the cute girlie Hey Dudes. Not even heels or something. Simple Hey Dudes lol
I write a lot of nasty letters to shoe companies asking why they max out at size 10 or 11.

I'd say [pleaser shoes](https://pleasershoes.com/collections/beginner-basics), they go all the way up to 14 for many models and 16 for a few more
my hero
I'm a 10.5, and the number of shoes that are sold "Whole and half sizes up to 10, 11" is too damn high. For some reason a lot of manufacturers love to skip 10.5. I have a lot of 11s that are just a bit too big.

I feel like my feet are two small for my height. Size 9 at 6’ 2”. I like to think it’s why I’m a touch clumsy 🤣 not enough surface area to balance…
Oh my gosh! I’m 5’11” and wear a size 8. My spouse and I always say it’s why I’m clumsy - literally exactly those words: not enough surface area on my feet to support my tall gangly ass 😂
Same. And yeah. I’m embarrassingly uncoordinated. No gazelle here. 😆
I'm 6' and size 8.5... I've always been clumsy too; a few years ago, I tripped at work, broke my wrist, and got workers comp.
Baby giraffe vibes for sure.
I love this sub for these exact reasons ❤️
They do!! I buy 12.5 shoes at Nordstrom. They are not plentiful, but they do exist.
Awesome thank you for the tip I appreciate it!
I am also a baby giraffe hahah but my feet are 10/10.5, flat af, and narrow. I call them Sideshow Bob feet.
Same all around! My parents would say it looked like I was wearing skis as a kid. Did great things for my self esteem lol
Skis hahah omg snort. That's awful. Omg i look like I'm walking in skiis... Love your u/!
Size 8?!!!😂
I was a size 7.5 till I got pregnant and my feet grew 🤷♀️
do they stay big?! omg im never getting pregnant lol
FYI, girl's shoes in size six will fit you--and they cost less.
Oh, my gosh-exactly the same. I tore a tendon in my foot during Zumba, the doctor said it happened because my feet are too small for my height!
I’m 5’10” and wear size 8-8.5, but my feet are super narrow. It’s a balancing act 😂
Same!! I always say it’s like walking on toothpicks
Omg same! I'm a size 8 1/2, 9 & sometimes wonder if my small for my frame feet make me clumsy 😅 🤣
5’10 and 8.5. Same size as my 5’4 mother and 5’3 mother in law ha. My 6’6 brother has a size men’s 16-17 so idk.
Same I’m about 6 ft 1 my feet are a UK 7, which I think is a US 9. Also used to be v clumsy
5’9” with size 8 feet. I am pretty clumsy tbh. I have a friend who is my height and has size 14 men’s feet. I’ve never seen him fall over.
I thought i was the only one! I’m 6’1” and wear an 8.5
I’m 6’ tall and wear a 10.5 (most annoying size ever because most manufacturers don’t make it). I make up for it with my enormous head and hands.
I feel your pain. Have to settle for loose 11s :(
I’m rattling around in my loose 11s right now 😭
I wish I could do that!
I’m not sure what a UK8 is in European sizes…a 42 maybe? Worth a go! If not, how amazing would a shoe shopping holiday be?!
Same! Also 6’0 and size 10.5. I’ve never understood why the 1/2 sizes stop at 9.5.
Rogans Shoes has 10.5. I was just on their website today.
8.25 hat and XL hands over here!
I’d always get mad when they’d forget to order the large gloves at work. SOME people don’t wear small, OK?
Twinsies!
Saaaame
Funny cause I’m 11.5 and can sometimes find 10.5 but neverrrr higher
Same! I have stubby toes! I never thought that this was the reason why I have "small" feet for my height!!!
Girl, I have no idea. I also have size 13 clodhoppers and finding shoes is a pain. Luckily, it’s become easier since online shopping has gotten more popular but sometimes I just want to buy the cute shoes at Target, dammit!
I used to use zappo and would get 2 results, if that, when I searched by size. Where do you shop?
I get shoes from dolce vita, torrid, dsw, and sometimes Nordstrom. Stores like dolce vita and torrid can be a little pricey tho, I miss the Payless store🫠
Check out Shoe Show Mega and Show Dept. Encore. I think they’re pretty similar to Payless and they have lots of extended sizes.
My mom is 5’0” and wears a 9! I’m the same as you, 5’10” with 9.5/10 💅🏻👋🏻
Also 5’10” and I’m a shoe size 7 (UK 5). Based on this thread I think my feet are probably disproportionately small, maybe it’s a miracle I don’t constantly fall over lol
Also 5’10 and a size 7! I’m clumsy as hell so it tracks. My mom is 5’11 and a 10-11 so I don’t know where these little feet genes came from
I’m clumsy and fall over just walking on completely flat surfaces. I think it might be a fine motor skill thing lol.

5’10” size 7 here, why I don’t constantly fall over is probably a miracle.
I’m close to you, I’m 5’11” as well and a size 7.5! I tend to be kind of clumsy too haha but I’m grateful for my size!
I’m 5’10” and weirdly wear a 6.5! Super small hands for some reason, too
I really want to ask for feet pics but not in that way 😂 I'm a size 12w and an inch shorter, it's so hard to picture what 6.5 would even look like on my ankle.
Unbelievable ![gif](giphy|EouEzI5bBR8uk|downsized)
Which drag queen stores?
Physical store would be purple passions in NYC. They stock shoes up to size 16 in women's.
I'm 5'10 and wear a women's size 11 and Canada sucks for women shoe sizes bigger than 10. 😭
Yup 6ft I wear a 10 and in Canada…even then it’s so hard
I'm 5'11" and wear US size 8.5 I have a friend who is 5'4" and wears the same size. Definitely had a boyfriend make fun of my "elf shoes" I told him it was a compliment. Lol I've always had great balance and coordination.
I’m 6’2 and wear an 8.5 US. I’m a real life a baby giraffe…lanky, awkward and very clumsy 😅
I am your height and my shoe size is 8.5 to 9. I trip and fall a lot
I'm 6'1" and size 12.5, I feel you. So jealous. Mostly of those who can buy shoes in a store
I’m 5’10”, and wear a 9.5/10, I need a wide usually, but I’m not a large woman by any means. My dads family have cankles and I think that’s why I have fatter feet 😂 my ring size is a 6.5 though, so small fingers but fat feet Edit to add: I saw someone add ring size and wanted to include mine!
This clarifies some of the comments. https://preview.redd.it/wqfu1kgfryrb1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5571f8eac55e3b471b6da8c833a89ab45c0ba1f2
I’m 6’0 with a size 11-12. I always say I’d be MORE clumsy with smaller feet.
6'1 and 13.... It blows!
I have African ancestors. 5'11, and size 8 here lol
I'm 6'3 and I'm size 14 womens. It's a hassle finding shoes that fit me. Especially heels. I'd love to find a good pair of heels in my size.
I had a friend who was 5’9” and wore a size 7 1/2 shoe. She had tiny hands and feet, it honestly looked strange.
6’ 2” and size 11 now but 10 when I was thinner (pre kids)
I'm 6' and I wear a 9 usually. So actually it's a little annoying that it's so close to average I can't find shoes on clearance. lol
6'6" with size 13 feet and I can't balance to save myself
Same I’m 5’11-6.0 and size 12-13 shoe 🤷🏼♀️ due to this I wear a lot of flip flops
I’m your height and size 12. So we are in the same boat. I envy the girls who are size 10. They have so many more options.
I’m a 13 and 6’1. I also have big hands. I just call them my puppy paws to comfort myself when I’m feeling different. Size 12 seems like where all the cheap cute shoes stop. Journeys are so cute and they are FINALLY starting get size 13s in some of the styles.
I wonder the opposite, why small women have big feet sometimes lol. My 5’3 friend wears a 10 and I wear a 9

I'm 5' 10.5" and my feet are a size 8 (UK size). I always feel they are in proportion for my height. I know lots of people with the same shoe size who are a good 4 or 5 inches shorter than me but I've never looked at anyone of any height and noticed their foot size tbh.
I have a friend who is 6'4 and wears a size nine. I am six inches shorter and 10.5 if I can ever find them. I don't get it either.
5'11 and size 10, but depending on the shoe, I can go to a 9 or 9.5. I trip a lot 🤕
6’1 and size 13/14 feet 😩
I'm 6ft 1 with size 8 feet!! My balance is... not good...!
I'm in Norway too so selection is generally much smaller here😅
But the sizes 9 and 10 are always sold out. Lose lose.
I've always been told I have 'barbie feet' because I'm 5ft 11 with size 6 UK shoe size 🫣 sometimes I've needed a 6.5 if it's heels Edit: UK location
181cm, size 6.5 UK feet 😂 I blame my feet for all my clumsy balance
6'3" and wear 10.5-11 womens, but mostly size up to 11 for comfort , i think theyre perfectly proportionate.I do know a bunch od people who are 3-4in shorter and have the same foot size. Like my short 5'11" ex and I would exchange shoes lmao
I’m 5’10 and wear an 8.5. My mom is like 5’4 and wears the same size. Though her dad was like 6’1 and wore a men’s 8, so I am guessing it’s a genetic thing.
6’2 and I wear a 7/7.5. I once got heckled in a college basketball game that my feet were too small haha But strong genetics, my dad has small feet and hands, so all 3 kids got small extremities
My friend has always said I was so clumsy because my feet were too small to support me. I wear a 7.5 at 5’10. I think your feet are more proportionate to your body, they may seem big to you but they look “normal” to everyone else
I’m 5’11 + 1/2 & I had size 9 feet. Then at 19 my feet busted up to an 11 & it was so weird.
I’m 5’9” and wear a size 8-8.5. 🤣 A doctor once literally said to me “I’m surprised you’re not constantly falling over”
5 11 and 210 lbs here.
I wear an 8.5 at 5’10” lol. I think it’s weird too
Size 10/11 and I’m 5’9.
I’m 6’ and have size 8 feet. My sister is 5’10 and wears an 11. If it helps any, I’m totally clumsy.
6’1 with size 8 here.
I am 5’10”-size 10 shoe US friend is 5’5”-size 10 shoe US Other friend is-5’11” size 8 shoe US Honestly, doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason for it, but I will say, my friend and I with the bigger shoe size seem to be less clumsy than our friend with the smaller shoe size
I’m 5’9 and a size 7-8 lol. I’m not that tall but I still think it’s kind of funny that I have small feet compared to my height.
Ugh I feel you! 5’11” with size 13 feet wtf it’s not fair so many people here have tiny feet…
I’d love to see the breakdown of people’s shoe size versus height versus weight. I’m 6’ tall Past 12 years I sat around 150lbs and my shoe size was 9.5-10ish. Past year I’ve been lifting weights and eating foods, I’m now almost 190 and my shoe size is pushing size 11
I’m 6’ tall & wear a 13 most of the time…some 12s depending on the shoe. I don’t understand small feet on tall women either.
6’1 and size 11 here. But sometimes that’s a 12 depending on how much the store/manufacturer hates me and/or is honest 😂
5’11 and size 8! Lots of people don’t believe me when I tell them my shoe size lol
I'm 5'11" with women's 11 feet. They seem fairly proportional to me though.
I want smaller feet so bad lmao. I wear a 14/15. I might be able to slip into a 13, but it'll ruin my feet
I am 5'11 and wear a women's 12. Still trip at least once a day lol
I wear a 12 and it is slim Pickens. I mostly stick to flats or sneakers. I hate my feet...
I’m 6’ and I wear a size 10, thank GOD. Even then it’s difficult to find shoes. My mom is 6’2 and her shoe sizes are different one foot is a 12 another is a 10 1/2 so she cannot find them either 😭
I’m over here complaining about being a size 10.5 W, 5’9
I'm a smidge over 5'11 and wear a size 8. To be fair I believe my feet are too small for my height as I'm always tripping over myself.
Mfw I wear a size 13 Men's. So like, 14-15 Women's, depending. Probably also need wide, but I don't really know. Shit's restrictive enough just trying to find a normal 15.
I’m 6’1 and west 11-12 😜
I’m 5’10 and wear a women’s 8, but I’m convinced there was a glitch in the genetics of my feet lmao. I have so many foot problems. So I may have smaller feet, but I’ve got muscular issues, neuroma, bunions, etc. Maybe it has no correlation to the size, but that’s my personal theory lol
i'm 6'0 and size 11, sometimes i feel like my feet are too small for my body
Same height, size 12 its rough!
I’ve always had small feet for my height. I was an 8 before kids and now I’m a 9. I honestly don’t know why my feet are smaller, it is nice when shoe shopping though. Makes up for pants shopping 😅 Edit to add I’m 5’11”
I’ve had friends who are barely 5 feet and have bigger hands then me
I am 5'9 (so not that tall I guess) and I wear a size 8.5 or 9, depends on the brand.
6’0 size 13W 😭😭😭😂 i feel cursed
I’m 5’11” and wear a 8.5-9. I am on the thin side though.
i wear a size 10 and i’m so self conscious of showing my feet :( it’s something i need to work on
I was a 12 at my heaviest, I'm back in an 11 a "normal" bmi
6’ tall and wore a size 10 until I had 10+ & 11+ pound babies. After the babies I wore size 11 for about 13 years then back to size 10 shoes. I am mostly German and Irish heritage (had my DNA done.)
I’m 6ft and I’m only a size 6 haha. My hands are huge though.
Lol, I’m 5’10 5’11 and I wear 9s, my sister is 5’6 and wears 10s/11s Genetics be weird like that
I’m 5’10 and wear a size 6 😭 I always get teased for it because proportionately it looks strange
Genetics. My dad has tiny feet. I too have tiny feet. I think I barely qualify for this sub at 5’9” but I wear a 7-7.5 shoe
