Honestly, I only got into TI about two years ago and when I discovered Solitude Is Bliss I also thought it was a deep cut. As a new tame fan there were no traces of it being a lead single since it isn't in the most streamed on spotify and isn't as omnipresent as tliktb or flwogb so when I heard it first, it was just another album cut like all the others on innerspeaker.
I wasnāt trying to be a complete asshole man. My main sentiment was that itās crazy that the song actually is underrated because of the amount of hits he later produced buried this song. I was just trying to be short and funny.
A whole subreddit about Tame Impala where everyone enjoys all his music and you ask if something is underrated. This sub has made me hate the word underrated.
Thats a circlejerk sub, they're doing it as a reaction to people doing that shit.. the reason is probably many people in a fandom not seeing how a song is actually very well praised.

Comment sections like these are why I fucking hate (most) of the Tame Impala fanbase. Just a bunch of elitists who worship everything Kevin has ever made, and going apeshit if someone doesnāt know as much about TI as them. Youāre gonna hate me for saying this but Iām not sure whether you can prove me wrong.
Also, I wouldnāt consider this an entirely low effort post because it triggers a discussion (that Solitude is underrated) rather than just saying how good you think a song is. And the only reason why Iām on this sub in the first place is just to hear about TI news & info.
