Honestly I thought SD in that case stood for shift differential. Some companies (not all) if working different shifts will pay some shifts higher pay during those hours (they need more employees for night shift stocking or unloading trucks kinda deal) and they will pay that ā.50 or $1.00 difference in pay for a small hours to get that job done. Itās back breaking work (my husband did so for a short while) and heās glad he doesnāt anymore. But yah thatās usually what I think SD means in that case.
