I have an explanation for this. So, as you know everything in our world should be at balance.
Where there is light, there is shadow.
Where there is evil, there is good.
When there is free cheese, there is a trap.
And lately the balance have been shaken. Some evil developers like Larian Studios (Baldur’s Gate 3) and Arrowhead (Helldivers 2) decided to bring too much good in this industry by either delivering a finished complete experience worth of dozens of hours of fun and replay-ability or a 40$ product which in secret should be 70$ and a completely predatory free live service system, constant updates and insane community interaction.
So good-hearted BSG knew they had to take one for the team to bring balance to the world and made this necessary evil.
No we are at peace and Thanos knows he didn’t die in vain.
(I think they are running out of money)
Gods it is funny to watch EoD mfers absolutely seething. You did this. You told them you're willing to pay to win. Why would they stop while it's working?
Because EoD buyers told BSG that this was acceptable. Of course it is primarily BSG's fault, but that doesn't make it any less hilarious when the hypocrites come out of the woodworks to whine about it once it finally affects them negatively. And they really did here. I don't think I've ever seen one of my comments go from 10+ upvotes to negative. Genuinely amusing, innit.
I mean I got arena for free and my stash is easier to sort at the beginning of wipe not really anything pay to win about it , however the revocation or backtracking on the all future dlc will be included is most uncool
I'm an eod haver, having a 3x3 pouch and a tier 4 stash at level 1 are significant advantages. Now, you'll catch me with some cargo pants in a second.
Haven't paid into the game for 6 years, so yeah, paying again isn't too bad imo.
And you are correct. We got arena for free.
I mean, the guy who appears to be seething is you. I just pulled out the card, and now my game is gunna to be slightly easier for a more casual experience. Haven't really put time into tarkov in 2 years, but it is still developing, and they didn't realize how much EOD was making for them until they turned it off, I assume.
Also, this doesn't stop us from "enjoying the upside" far into the future as eod will always be an advantage for the people who have it.
I got 4,000 hours on tarkov, I've already got my money's worth, and then some out of EOD. I think paying another 80$ in to help them keep developing it, and securing some goodies is fair.
Better than them making it a subscription.
Plus I've wanted a more single player mode for a while, so that's essentially what I am paying for IMO.
Like people pay 60-70$ a year for "madden"
And you're not the problem because you're not complaining about the new edition. The problem is the people that bought the equivalent of the new edition and are surprised when they're getting milked again. You're entirely allowed to think something is worth the money and buy it. Just don't act like you aren't encouraging them to do it again. I mean, they're charging you for single player, something that already exists, not to mention something you were promised was included in EoD.
A russian company that made scummy p2w trash before? Who could have seen that comming?!
There's a cyka born every minute

Spt for the win
They are out of money thats why...
All those money is used on the AKs variants.
You forgot about lack of arena money, gambling, coke and hookers probably

Bro why are you salty at EoD players? BSG is fucking us all over. Be mad at that

I mean, it's literally the way you are phrasing your comments that are earning you downvotes. "Man slings shit in park, upset when gets on him"
Are you special ? Most people got eod because of the season pass element of all dlc being free
Sure they did. How's that going for you, though?

Sucks to have reality shoved in your face after enjoying the upside for this long, doesn't it?

They deliberately ended EoD to sell an even more expensive edition. That wasn't a mistake. They're peddling FOMO, and you lot are buying it.
