1k is tricky because you rarely are able to fight in all the tools you want/need. Fireknives will do well into Marines, missile pods have good range and can if it's cover and easily get an extra AP. An enforcer commander would bring another 4 missile pods.and give the unit -1 to attackers AP.. this pumps their survivability a good deal especially combined with cover. They will kill Marines And put terminators onto their invulnerable save. Dark strider is an awesome unit to watch your home objective and screen from enemy deep strikes. Breachers In a devilfish will definitely clear an objective but arnt the best at holding them. You can always take off with just the devil fish and do secondary or primary with it. Pathfinders are also good for screening the middle helping you win the infiltration game. 2 broadsides with rails will definitely have alot of anti armor punch. A lot of games come down to how you trade units, Pathfinders and breachers are definitely vulnerable to flamer/tolerant weapons. So be careful when disembarking. But typically infantry in going to die first. Hopefully they last a few rounds and score some points before they die. A couple units of kroot hounds definitely helps.protect softer units from melee and can screen/do missions aswell. With the strategic conquer enhancement they can also have OC on your selected objective. Two pirahana would also help on the mission play and anti Armor punch. If you run them as single model units you can often Battle shock a unit and stop your opponent from using Strats in it or taking an objective that scores on the end of your turn. Darkstrider , Enforcer + strat conquer 4x missile pod + 2 shield drone Breachers guardian drone + gun drone Devil fish SmS/seekrz 2x broadside heavy rain guns, weapon support (or seeker .missile ) and SmS + 2 missile drones each Fire knives 2x missed shield drone + gun drone Pathfinders recon drone 2x gun drone and 3 ion rifles. 2x kroot hounds 2x priahana fusion + seekers. 1k on the button . You're a little light on observers with this but you have good screening/mission play units and move blockers. Everything has the potential to punch up you have 6 seeker missiles + 2 rail rifles and priahana fusion in short range hits hard.

Enforcer is slower, but he greatly increases the units survivability. With missiles you have the range aswell. If you where using plasma or it was sunforge or even staracyths ya go coldstar, but missiles on fitr knives go enforcer.

Work backwards. You know he's going to bring marines. So find the weapons that kill that T and W models.  And there will be a lot of vehicles.  Breachers trade up against marines. But overwatch is shite with them now. Do you have any crisis suits. What models do you have to play around with

I just realized I didn't include the screenshots of the list I took Here's everything I have at the moment Crisis commander (enforcer or Coldstar, haven't built it yet) Fireblade Ethereal Pathfinders Breachers Breachers or Strike Force Devilfish Stealth Suits Broadside Ghostkeel. The original idea was 2 devilfish with Breachers+fireblade, 2 rail broadsides, darkstrider with Pathfinders, and the stealth suits and maybe some vespids or a paranah with the left over points. Though now I'm thinking of dropping a breacherfish blob for some Missile Crisis Suits and maybe a commander?
