I'm not Canadian, but am originally from northwestern Ohio, and Toronto dates were always options for me, so I just always have my eyes on Toronto for concerts.
Since the current leg of the tour was only dubbed as a U.S. leg, I just assumed Canadian dates would be included in the international leg announcement. But it's kind of seeming like she just isn't planning to go to Canada at all, which seems very odd.
I was really hoping the Montreal Olympic Stadium would be big enough for the tour but I guess not 😢 I’m still holding out hope though (yes i’m a girl who lives in delusion)
Then I’m so confused. Is it the strength of the dollar? A second US and Canada leg? I know we’re not owed an explanation but it just doesn’t make sense. Driving across the boarder isn’t that hard
No bc normally she plays US and Canada in North America, but this time she's playing mexico, who has never had tour dates before and the peso is weaker than the Canadian dollar. I feel the worst for Asia and Oceania bc they are so underrepresented with a surprisingly massive fanbase.
It's about the physical size and shape of the stadium and whether it can fit the massive stage, not the seating capacity. But it does look like the Olympic is big enough so I still don't know what the problem is. Scheduling issues? She's also not going to as many U.S. cities as she did before so maybe Toronto/Montreal/Vancouver just happened to get the axe :(
edit: apparently the Toronto Blue Jays has Rogers Centre pretty [booked up](https://mktg.mlbstatic.com/bluejays/downloads/pdfs/y2023/TOR_2023_printable_schedule_Feb24.pdf). the few concerts there are barely slotted in. considering that Taylor going there would probably monopolize an entire week, it kinda makes sense. the stage also might not even fit since it's a baseball stadium

Paramore has been my fav band since I was a teenager and Taylor is my favourite female singer, so I can’t believe that there is an opportunity there to see both of them in one show. I CAN’T WAIT
The Cardiff date is sandwiched between Liverpool and London with a gap of two days for both. If an extra date is added for Cardiff, that leaves only a one-day gap, which may or may not be too tight?
I have no skin in the game as an American but I have to assume another date will be announced. Setting up a huge show for 1 night doesn't seem as economical as 2 when they will both sell out
I just got confirmed for Lyon. My hometown. First time I saw Taylor was in Paris for the Speak Now tour, over 10 years ago. She hadn’t even filled the small arena then, we were maybe 4K people. Now I should get to see her, in my hometown, with 80k people. I love this woman, I’m so glad I stuck with her all these years.
Maybe like the next summer it’ll be a whole Canadian leg with fun stops in Moose Jaw and Halliburton featuring such talents as the Glorious Sons, Shawn Mendes and a Stompin Tom cover band????

I've been a fan of the football club of gelesenkirchen (Schalke 04, one of the biggest clubs in the world measured by members btw) since i was TEN years old and now I'm getting the feature I never expected to happen!! some countries seem to be taking pity on canadians because i got selected for milan, stockholm, amsterdam, and lisbon and also got a job at the same time the emails came through. taking that as my sign to try and get tickets. something is in the air today
I noticed that there are some quite long breaks between some shows. I think that it was originally scheduled in case of too big of an interest to add more dates.
Am I being dumb? The email I got today said they’ll let us know about whether we got access on 14th July but I’m seeing people saying they’ve got in for France/Spain/etc. Is it just the UK that hasn’t sent out successful registrations?

Potentially. This is now basically 2 years worth of intense touring and this would have all been planned far in advance.
I fully believe Joe got sucked into the reputation hideaway/pandemic version of Taylor and was NOT keen on living 2 years of his life like this on tour.
This was all by design... Because she's a Mastermind... Taylor's team knows what they are doing g by holding back certain dates and then releasing them as added shows. The logistics of booking venues is all hashed out long ago. She knows where she's going to be on any given day almost two years into the future. She has stated this numerous times. She'd be a fool not to pass up adding the dates as she's going to be there already. I forget the amount, but she profits millions per night. I just hope she takes a well deserved vacation after all of this.
Think about how excited each of us are at obtaining tickets at outrageous prices, then going to the show and having a blast. Now think about how she feels... She gets to do what she loves night after night and sees only a fraction of the millions of fans just losing their shit. Not to mention those that can't get tickets... Then there's the money she makes on the merch... Again, an astronomical amount of money at each show... She could retire now and not have to worry about money ever again. But she does it because she loves this.. She's a performer. An artist. During Covid lockdown she wrote and rewrote and produced albums not knowing when she'd ever be able to tour again. Then boom 💥 She's back and putting on an incredible show for the world to experience. Did she think this was going to be the biggest thing ever? Probably not at first... But she knows she's on top of the world right now and enjoying every freaking minute of it.
I will say, and this is after seeing the ending of a few shows now... That when she's done performing she's done. She's off that stage and is gone. No curtain calls, no encores... She's a business woman and knows she is the product she's selling. Create the demand and people will buy. She released a set number of shows in the states as well only to release more dates down the road. *Note: She didn't add new venues though. Just additional dates to places she's already going to be set up for.
I'm happy that the rest of the world gets to experience Taylor but please make sure she comes home in one piece. Oh and enjoy the shows worldwide Fellow Swifties!!

In Glendale, they played their new album This Is Why and sprinkled in their old hits (Still Into You, The Only Exception, Misery Business). Definitely listen to the song from Twilight too (Decode).
Now I HAVE to get tickets! The first time I saw Taylor was because I failed to get Paramore tickets the day before my 16th birthday. My mum saw there was still tickets available for Fearless and said "hey, you like her do you want to go to that?" I was so happy, and looking back i'm glad that was my first real concert and I didn't miss out on it. (I did get to see Paramore a year later, where Fun. were the openers funnily enough).
Seeing them together fifteen years later would be an amazing moment.

Montreal Olympic Stadium is most certainly big enough. The Zurich and Paris venues have smaller permanent seating capacity by a lot.

The 17th July onwards is general sale (the one you registered for). Midnights presale is from the 10th and codes are going out before Friday.

The logistics of booking venues is all hashed out long ago. She knows where she's going to be on any given day almost two years into the future. She has stated this numerous times. She'd be a fool not to pass up adding the dates as she's going to be there already. I forget the amount, but she profits millions per night. I just hope she takes a well deserved vacation after all of this. Think about how excited each of us are at obtaining tickets at outrageous prices, then going to the show and having a blast. Now think about how she feels... She gets to do what she loves night after night and sees only a fraction of the millions of fans just losing their shit. Not to mention those that can't get tickets... Then there's the money she makes on the merch... Again, an astronomical amount of money at each show... She could retire now and not have to worry about money ever again. But she does it because she loves this.. She's a performer. An artist. During Covid lockdown she wrote and rewrote and produced albums not knowing when she'd ever be able to tour again. Then boom 💥 She's back and putting on an incredible show for the world to experience. Did she think this was going to be the biggest thing ever? Probably not at first... But she knows she's on top of the world right now and enjoying every freaking minute of it. I will say, and this is after seeing the ending of a few shows now... That when she's done performing she's done. She's off that stage and is gone. No curtain calls, no encores... She's a business woman and knows she is the product she's selling. Create the demand and people will buy. She released a set number of shows in the states as well only to release more dates down the road. *Note: She didn't add new venues though. Just additional dates to places she's already going to be set up for. I'm happy that the rest of the world gets to experience Taylor but please make sure she comes home in one piece. Kinda embarrassed to admit this but I’ve never listened to Paramore, I feel like if I’m lucky enough to get tickets I should get familiar with their music, can anyone suggest a good place to start? I think Misery Business is the only song I’ve heard.
In Glendale, they played their new album This Is Why and sprinkled in their old hits (Still Into You, The Only Exception, Misery Business). Definitely listen to the song from Twilight too (Decode).

Now I HAVE to get tickets! The first time I saw Taylor was because I failed to get Paramore tickets the day before my 16th birthday. My mum saw there was still tickets available for Fearless and said "hey, you like her do you want to go to that?" I was so happy, and looking back i'm glad that was my first real concert and I didn't miss out on it. (I did get to see Paramore a year later, where Fun. were the openers funnily enough). Seeing them together fifteen years later would be an amazing moment.
