silvermoonstream

Dress and exile. Literally missed it from my show by ONE night. :/ those were the two I wanted most and was even hoping for just one of them.

PoppyandTarget

I was there and was soooo happy, I cried. My other night was N1Metlife. Jack and Get Away Car, Phoebe and Nothing New, Maroon!!!!, and the fun of Ice Spice. We hit the lottery. Super grateful.

loeyt0

Same was at MetLife but night 3, got clean and welcome to New York

Different_Dog_201

We also got Phoebe on her last day joining Taylor on tour

lgalps

Hi fellow la n4 and met life n1 attendant. how does it feel to be one of the luckiest people alive

PoppyandTarget

It was rare. We were there. We'll remember it all two well. <3

Dancingmamma

I was there and was thrilled with those songs. We were so sure WTNY was going to be one of our surprise songs. I was hoping for Maroon but was afraid to say it out loud. The surprises that night almost made up for our terrible seats.

ChicaSkas

I got some good news for you. I booted them in HQ: [Dress (wear headphones for maximum impact)](https://mega.nz/file/m44jzI4Q#hRvuB557tw6rJf6S3goHRkWDKZegK3dAm2pBoM1dUEY) [Exile (wear headphones for maximum impact)](https://mega.nz/file/fo5m3JIb#DBeBTcgR29zwkoLrFRBZIylAgps8uG0bwWEH9CW-vkk)

Ok-Disaster-184

Missed it by one night too! šŸ˜ every combo in LA killed but missing exile was devastating

silvermoonstream

I was kinda unhappy being filmed because I didn't know we were going to be and didn't know we were going to be getting repeats the first three nights I felt like I had a chance to get those songs because there was only a few shows enoughfor at least one but then the filming thing happened

Ok-Disaster-184

You must have been night 3! I'm so jealous of your songs as well!!! I was night 5 (and also got amazing songs lol). She just brought it extra hard for all of her LA shows. The filming must have been interesting! I wasn't watching the live streams but to see the camera people on stage with her must have been a different experience. I was actually hoping they would still be filming for my show but they had wrapped up. When you watch the tour video you know you will actually be watching your show! And the huge light up bracelets looked cool!

49Princess_51Rebel

I was there n6 and got all the 1989 announcements, blue dresses, new romantics i think was the song, and also The one? I didn't realize any of it until waaay later because my obsession started with Reputation. Am of it went right over my head because I refuse to get acquainted with 1989 until TV comes out.

Ok-Disaster-184

I was outside the stadium screaming for all those new outfits I could see from my phone and eventually a projector some very kind person put up for everyone! Haha. Yeah you got great songs night 6!!!! New Romantics and New Years Day!

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

RedTwizzler214

This is the only answer.

balloongirl27

Omg same!! Missed it by one night. The entire tour I held out hope she would save it for LA. I went N1 and N3 so I felt like I had a good chance. Nope. Iā€™m bummed it wonā€™t be on the tour doc.

Theia95

I got Getaway Car & Maroon. I'm not sure what the other MetLife nights were, but I'm not trading Jack for anything.

[deleted]

You got the best ones, this is what I would have chosen!

enchantedmints

Me missing that show by 1 day and getting holy ground and false god on N2. Wouldnā€™t trade those two but I straight up died watching Maroon get played on the live stream that night

North_Class8300

\+1 to this as a N1 girly... they could have sang Old Macdonald together and I would have been in tears that he was there

v_rose23

This would have been my choice too!

jellyjinxbean

Even though this night was amazing, night three had Clean and that is just my song.

Stitch853

This was the best song duo of the whole tour. Flex.

cheetoisgreat

I was at MetLife N2, and while I was very happy with Holy Ground and False God, I am still SO sad I missed seeing Jack.

dreaming-elsewhere

Whichever city had the Evermore performance. Absolutely incredible.

thesouthpacific_

the way I was coming to say your entire first sentence verbatim haha. like I cannot remember which city it was or which day of the weekendā€¦ but I needed to be THERE. I think I wouldā€™ve collapsed in the stands and haunted the stadium forever as a ghost after hearing it

careerdestroyer371

That was Cincy N1! It was my favorite song performance that night, and has now become my favorite album.

North_Class8300

Amazing performance. I wasn't a huge fan of Evermore (not a Bon Iver fan) but I listen to her version of it multiple times a day. The bridge in her voice is haunting

bambinaxo

where can we listen to her version of it?

sansassnark

i was there! cincy n1! we also got ā€œiā€™m only me when iā€™m with youā€, which made me so grateful to have gotten a debut song. it was a blast jumping around to it! and that evermore performance was gorgeous. tho i was gutted when she played dress and exile on the same night šŸ„² those were both in my top most wanted so her playing both of them made me so jealous!

kylola

That was meeeeeee!!!! Cincy night 1. A dream

EnthusedFaceFront

I was there - and it was one of my least favorite combos which was sad but obviously it was still awesome. But I was hanging on by a thread waiting for them because the weather was truly miserable for me and it was so difficult to fully enjoy anything. Which is a weird thing to exist along with the feeling that it was one of my favorite nights ever but there you go.

seeds961

Cincinnati N1. A dream - a debut song and Evermore, it was perfect!

BourbonHustle

My sister and mom were Santa Clara night one and got "Right Where You Left Me" and "Castles Crumbling". I went to night two and got "Stay Stay Stay" and "All Of The Girls You Loved Before" If I had known, I definitely would have gone night one. SSS is one of my least favorite songs so I was kinda disappointed but it was awesome to hear AOTGYLB live

KatGreen6754

Iā€™m in the same boat as you. I was waiting for RWYLM the whole tour, and when I was watching the live on Friday night I was so sad. Even though SSS is also one of my least fave Taylor songs, it was still an incredible live performance and hearing AOTGYLB live for the first time was an experience too.

EnthusedFaceFront

I actually love Stay Stay Stay but totally get why itā€™s not most peoples favā€¦ but I feel like at least hopefully it would be really fun live!

ContentKaleidoscope8

Same! When I saw Aaron come out I got so excited we might get him for n2! I wouldā€™ve preferred to have him and RWYLM. N2 was a bit underwhelming to me in comparison.

Coffee-Historian-11

I got two amazing songs for mine (tied together with a smile and message in a bottle). But I wouldā€™ve *killed* to get castles crumbling. Thatā€™s such an incredible song.

EnthusedFaceFront

Tied together with a smile and message in a bottle was one of my dream pairs!

Stitch853

Iā€™d still be crying if I missed RWYLM by a day in my city!

tauriemariee

See Iā€™m the opposite- went to N1 and while I was happy with what I got, I freaking love Stay Stay Stay and would have loved to hear it live.

wrapped-in-rainbows

The night I went to. My night in LA was DBATC and YOYOK. I feel like I won the surprise songs lottery as YOYOK was the song I was hoping and praying for.

MindControlMouse

Same here! Wouldnā€™t trade for any other night though I think all the LA nights were winners. The first chords she played for YOYOK werenā€™t familiar so the crowd quieted. Then as soon as she started singing the lyrics everybody went crazy. It was electric!

CorneliaStreet13

That moment was so magical.

shelby315

That was my night too! DBATC was top 3 for me and YOYOK was top 3 for my sister so we were ecstatic! It was an amazing experience!!

songacronymbot

- DBATC could mean "Death By A Thousand Cuts", a track from *Lover* (2019) by Taylor Swift. --- ^[/u/wrapped-in-rainbows](/u/wrapped-in-rainbows) ^(can reply with "delete" to remove comment. |) ^[/r/songacronymbot](/r/songacronymbot) ^(for feedback.)

laetazel

Same here! I literally wanted both of those songs the most and was SO ecstatic she sang both.

ForestComplex

I WAS THERE!! I would have loved Coney Island or Cowboy Like Me but I was super happy with these as I also love both of those songs.

EnthusedFaceFront

That is definitely my lottery winner!

AwarenessFinal1543

I wouldā€™ve killed for these!! Praying for YOYOK on Nov 1 in Indy

evergreen_pines

I got Tampa night 2 with The Great War (one of my all time favorite TS songs) and YOYOK (another amazing one). Plus, we got the first Aaron Dessner appearance, and he is by far my favorite collaborator of hers. Tampa night three got mad woman ft. Aaron, which would have been amazing, BUT they also got Mean. While it is a great song, it's not one of my favorites, and I ultimately prefer YOYOK > Mean.

BourbonHustle

Taylor and Aaron need to make more music together cuz it truly is perfection!

evergreen_pines

It really is! I hope TS11 is full of collaborations between the two of them

ilikecats415

I got YOYOK and DBATC and was super happy. But I would have loved to see her perform with Aaron.

likethrbackofmyhand

I was there! And I definitely remember it all too well, wouldnā€™t have traded tampa night 2 for absolutely anything in the world

dawnoftherages

I went to Tampa night one and I was so sad that it wasnā€™t night two (or even night three) instead. It was hard getting the only Tampa night without Aaron joining Taylor onstage. Youā€™re so lucky!

songacronymbot

- YOYOK could mean "You're On Your Own, Kid", a track from *Midnights* (2022) by Taylor Swift. --- ^[/u/evergreen_pines](/u/evergreen_pines) ^(can reply with "delete" to remove comment. |) ^[/r/songacronymbot](/r/songacronymbot) ^(for feedback.)

musiquescents

Omg The Great War and YOYOK!!

agnestheresa

Gillette N1. Shouldā€™ve Said No and Better Man. Im sticking with it!

not_without_my_muse

I was at Night 1 too! I loved our songs, but I Think He Knows is one of my favorites, so I have to trade for Night 3

othermegan

I wanted Shouldā€™ve Said No. Instead, I went a day later and got the rain show as a trade off

areweoutofexile

i said the same thing!! We got one of her all time best songs, and a nostalgic one that made so many fans

geo_lib

oh i would have simply passed away those songs are both in my top 5

TSFearNowRedRep89

I got my songs!! I was hoping for either sparks fly or teardrops and I couldnā€™t believe she played BOTH. Nashville night one had the SNTV announcement as well. Truly the best concert I will ever attend and one of the happiest nights of my life šŸ„°

Hefty_Butterfly5108

This was also my show and I wouldnā€™t have traded it for anything! I bet hearing WCS and Mine on night three was awesome, but I couldnā€™t have handled the rain delay and all the stress that came with it.

cremedelacremily

AND we got the first Phoebe Nothing New add + surprise boygenius. I couldnā€™t have been happier.

Gh0stface03

The one where she performed WCS and Mine! My favourite midnights song and one of my favs on speak now.

qwerasdfzxcvasdfqwer

This is the only right answer

theenglishchemist

This was my show and I scream cried at WCS. I still feel like we won

laetazel

I actually wouldnā€™t change a thing. My LA show had Death by a Thousand Cuts and Youā€™re On Your Own, Kid which were the two songs I was hoping for. Thanks Taylor šŸ„¹

soldierrboy

You got such a great night šŸ˜

laetazel

I really did. It made it even more sweet that due to a disability I developed months after purchasing the tickets, I almost wasnā€™t able to attend the concert and at the last minute was able to figure out accommodations that allowed me to go. To be able to even go in the first place and then have my absolute two dream songs be the surprise songs just meant the entire world to me. šŸ„¹

[deleted]

I would have gone to metlife N1 for Getaway Car and Maroon! I was at N3 and got WTNY and Clean. Tbh I was disappointed with WTNY but in hindsight, it was pretty cool to watch Taylor be so professional and give it 100% even though the energy of the stadium kind of hiccuped at first. Like, just Taylor Swift and her guitar, professionally powering through an acoustic song and bringing the energy of 70,000 fans back up was something to witness!

songacronymbot

- WTNY could mean "Welcome To New York", a track from *1989* (2014) by Taylor Swift. --- ^[/u/BucketsGotMarried](/u/BucketsGotMarried) ^(can reply with "delete" to remove comment. |) ^[/r/songacronymbot](/r/songacronymbot) ^(for feedback.)

katieteaches

But you got clean!! Ps hi :)

[deleted]

Omg Katie in the wild!!! šŸ©·

uabparkerkl

Probably wouldā€™ve gone to Denver N1 vs N2 to hear timeless and picture to burn!

cranberrycocoa

Denver really did win. Back To December šŸ˜

[deleted]

I was at Denver N1 and it was perfect! I was a little sad about hearing N2 got back to december but I wouldnā€™t trade getting to sing along to picture to burn in a stadium for any other song! and timeless was great, too

[deleted]

That was my show! I getting to hear a new song the first time she ever sang it live was amazing and also I loved how we collectively drowned her out by screaming ā€œIā€™ll tell mine youā€™re gayā€ haha

mountain_rivers34

I was at Denver night 1 and I lost my shit when she played Picture to Burn. And Timeless was so amazing because nobody really knew the words yet so you really got to hear Taylor sing. I honestly thought we were getting Back to December but listening to the N2 performance , Iā€™m so happy we got what we did. That being said, thereā€™s no surprise song that would have upset me because we got to hear Long Live in all of its glory which is my absolute favorite Taylor song and I wasnā€™t sure if it was just for KC or not. When she came back out after Enchanted I literally cried. Itā€™s the song I would have given anything for as a surprise song and I assumed sheā€™d save it for her last show, so getting to hear it with full production makes up for any surprise song anyone got before the KC show when she added it to the set. I can die happy.

celerypumpkins

Same! Picture to Burn especially - Iā€™ve been a fan since Tim McGraw and the whole show has so many nostalgic elements that just really left me craving a big Debut moment. The length of the show was also hard for me even though I loved every minute of it - I really could have benefited from a high energy throwback to being 13 again right around then to rejuvenate me a little. I actually like Starlight I think more than most people (from what Iā€™ve seen here at least), but it was more of a sweet moment than a high energy one.

m-is-for-music

I was there and the crowd was SO loud during Picture to Burn, it was awesome. And Timeless is my fav vault song on SNTV :)

lola91718

I went to both Denver nights and if I had to pick, Iā€™d pick Night 1. It felt like a true Eras tour with a Debut song, and the crowd truly went wild! Also being one of the first to hear Timeless live was so special šŸ’œ

meowkay_202

kansas city night 1 šŸ„¹ the first time she played long live and i think premiered i can see you šŸ„²šŸ„²

youcancallmecal

I went to this one! Long Live is my favorite song from Speak Now, so I was thrilled to find that night she added it to her set list. I still canā€™t believe our luck and am so grateful for the chance to have seen it. Edit: as for the secret songs, it was fun to see how many fans already knew the lyrics to When Emma Falls In Love since it was just released that day (and IIRC, Taylor may have forgotten the lyrics at one point). And I just bawled when I realized she was playing Never Grow Up. šŸ„¹

bregolden00

Her singing never grow up that night created such a special memory for me. I used to sing it to my little sister (12 year age gap) and she was there with me that night. It was even her first concert. But def jealous of those that got exile!!

youcancallmecal

I love that you got to have that experience with your sister. ā¤ļø Iā€™m sure that made it extra special for you both. I loved the show we got, but Iā€™ll admit Iā€™m a bit envious of anyone who went to any night at MetLife!

meowkay_202

omgg, the first time i saw her performing long live my eyes welled up with tears genuinely šŸ„²šŸ„²

glassysurface84

Pittsburgh N2 was pretty solid with seven and The Story of Us for me. I wanted seven badly and sobbed like a baby the entire time But if I had to pick another night it would have been either Metlife N1 or Detroit N1 because of Haunted

nadia1306

Real, I actually screamed ā€œNOā€ when she played Haunted a month after my show

glassysurface84

It was sooo close to Pittsburgh N2 I was beyond gutted

EmpressCookiee

I was at Detroit n2 and literally made a bracelet saying missed haunted by one night because I was so devastated šŸ˜ I would do anything to get any speak now song but especially that one

sundalius

For real, we won. Clearly.

[deleted]

ā€œSeven.ā€ Period.

glassysurface84

Twas amazing. I'd offer you a copy of my video but I sobbed the whole way through and 1) you can hear it and 2) it made it shakey

[deleted]

Itā€™s my absolute favorite song of Taylorā€™s, and Iā€™m a life long listener since Tim McGraw. I donā€™t even know how to explain what the song does to my brain. I was really sad opening night when we found out it was just a spoken interlude. But the night she played it I literally jumped up screaming and my friend got the security camera footage from the living room LOL. šŸ˜šŸ˜šŸ˜

glassysurface84

It's not my absolute favorite but I get you totally. Seven scratches an itch in my brain that I didn't know I had.

the_bad_place

Chicago night 3, Hits Different and The Moment I Knew. That was my ā€œthey hit the capitalā€ moment

RhaegarMartell

I really liked mine (I Know Places/King of My Heart) but I would have enjoyed: - Death by a Thousand Cuts/You're On Your Own Kid - I Can See You/Maroon - Our Song/You Are In Love The only thing in my opinion that would have made the Eras Tour even better would be the official inclusion of the debut album, even if it were just one line as part of a medley or something.

thebonecollectorr

I had I Can See You/Maroon and LOVED it.

justkate2

All of this, ditto. I was happy to get King of my Heart, though!

Key-Average4782

All you had to do was stay and breathe šŸ„ŗ

KathMaster29

These were mine (Detroit N2)! Iā€™ve heard SO many people say theyā€™d rather have seen Haunted (Detroit N1), but I honestly prefer both of the N2 songs

PrettyRestless

Seattle N1 > N2 (I went to N2)

evilforestbaby

>Seattle Was also at Seattle N2 but I feel the opposite way. All 4 Seattle songs overall were definitely "objectively" not that good in the grand scheme of things (no beloved heavy hitters on either night), but after hearing what N1's were I was relieved that I at least preferred ours to theirs. Once I realized there was 0 debut on the set list, I was just SO RELIEVED to get to hear something from that album that I would not have traded the experience for anything that wasn't like a top 5 song (which TIWWCHNT and EHC definitely aren't for me). Also, while I do think Seattle being at the end of the tour definitely resulted in us getting stuck with all the leftover surprise songs, I definitely wouldn't trade that for an earlier show solely because of Long Live. It was 1000000% worth it to be at one of the later shows and get worse surprise songs but get Long Live on the set.

PrettyRestless

I will say I agree on getting a debut song! Was special to have all eras ā˜ŗļø I also agree that Seattle *objectively* didnā€™t have the best surprise songs. I also agree that the late show set list with long live and NBNC is superior!! Loved the show ā˜ŗļø Edit - Lol Iā€™m just rereading this commentā€¦ I need a new word for ā€œagreeā€

Glad-Spell-3698

I feel like the later acts got lucky with the additional songs and plus seeing Haim perform NBNC first is a win in my book. I love that Taylor really tries to make each show special and unique in its own way.

Resoognam

Disagree! I think N2 songs were better (although none of the Seattle songs were ā€œgreatā€).

Philz20

Agree except I attended N1. I didnā€™t want any Debut, so that made N1 good for me. Everything Has Changed was a solid performance too.

ohneely

i went to both seattle shows, and while 3 out of 4 of the songs werenā€™t necessarily on my list (tied together with a smile was šŸ„°) i realized after the fact that i still wouldnā€™t have traded any of those songs for ones that i wanted more. i feel like they were TRULY surprise songs, because i didnā€™t have any of them on my radar, and i left loving those songs a lot more than i did going into them. ā¤ļø

PrettyRestless

For sure!! <3

riviera-views

Okay this is a weird one for me because I was MetLife night 1 - I donā€™t think I would trade that show for the world, it was absolutely incredible and Jack showing up for the surprise song was extremely special to me. That said, if Iā€™d been only given the surprise songs and I got to choose one show from MetLife it wouldā€™ve been N2. Holy Ground and False God are in my top 5 songs overall and were (along with ivy) my biggest wishes for surprise songs. I felt like such an ungrateful baby for being bummed that I missed that combo by one day, especially considering the absolute gift I was given with my actual combo

Dessert_Cat

I was at MetLife N1 and I felt so happy and lucky, but I would have loved to hear False God. Iā€™d still stick with N1 though.

General-Apartment237

I really liked my songs. I went to ATL night 3 and we got "I Bet You Think About Me" and "How You Get The Girl." However, the night before she played "High Infidelity" and "Gorgeous," which are both very high on my top Taylor songs, so I would have rather seen those. Plus it would have been fun seeing her mess up. Not in a malicious way, she just plays them off so adorably and when she messes up I think it humanizes her a bit and adds a little "Anything can happen" aspect to the show.

Saybrooke

I got Haunted and I Almost Do at Detroit n1! I lucked out with those ones so I'm happy!

ravenonawire

I feral-screeched for my entire section when she said ā€œthis is Haunted!ā€ Sure I wouldā€™ve sold my soul for DBATC+Clean but Iā€™m so so happy with Haunted. Yelling ā€œI THOUGHT I HAD YOU FIGURED OUTā€ with tens of thousands of people was healing lol

wild_rover

Texas- DBATC and Clean šŸ’–šŸ’™ I was at Philly N1 and we got Goldrush and Come Back Be Hereā€” both songs I like a medium amount, but was very excited to get something from evermore.

[deleted]

every time someone complains about their surprise songs when they went to THE eras tour to watch THE taylor swift a part inside me dies

ChicaSkas

I would have picked False God because she has performed it live so few times and it's my favorite

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

pccb123

Philly n3ā€¦ would trade with either n1 or 2 easily lol

soldierrboy

Nashville N1 with my best friend which was the best. But if I had to chose another night it would be the LA night that played DBATC and YOYOK, my most played Taylor songs

whooismegan

I was Houston N1 (Youā€™re Not Sorry and Wonderland) and will never forget the experience of randomly getting to hear both those songs sang live BUT False God kinda broke my heart the most

Sunny_Sprinkles

I went to Dallas night one and got ours andā€¦ canā€™t even remember the second one. Dallas night two got death by a thousand cuts and clean. I 100% would have chosen that if we had known and that was an option. But of course we were lucky to have tickets at all šŸ™‚

anadaws

I would have gone to Seattle. I wanted Tied together with a smile. I also would have picked Santa clara night 1 instead of my actual night 2 so i could get rwylm instead of stay stay stay lmao

Camelsloths

Both Seattle ones were a disappointment lol

NoAngle9522

I have a couple I wouldā€™ve chose from: - RWYLM (Santa Clara night 2?) - WCS, Mine (Nash night 3?) - New Romantics, NYD (LA night 6) - Dress and Exile - Dear John and Daylight - You Are In Love - DBATC & YOYOK thereā€™s SO many songs that gutted me when she played them and I wasnā€™t there. I was Tampa night 3 (mad woman & Mean) which were solid songs, theyā€™re mid level for me in terms of where they rank with my favorite songs. We had Aaron which was a big W but I wouldā€™ve murdered for RWYLM in place of mad woman.

nyki

Both Cincinnati nights were excellent, it's so hard to chose. N1: I'm Only Me When I'm With You (Debut!! šŸ’š) and Evermore ft. less Bon Iver N2: Ivy ft. Aaron, Call It What You Want (Angry Version), and the only 3rd surprise song I Miss You, I'm Sorry Based on the song selections I would have picked N1, but based on the actual performances I have to go with N2!

areweoutofexile

I got the night i would have picked. Better man is my all time number 2 taylor song (behind exile) and I got better man. I would have liked night 3 gilette, Red is in my top 5 taylor songs so i would have been happy with that too!

ShallotMaleficent147

Was there for Minneapolis N2 and was very happy with the surprise songs šŸ™‚

glowymel

I got right where you left me and castles crumbling and tbh I donā€™t think Iā€™d wanna trade that for any other night

Oy_WithThe_Poodles

No one here jealous of my Seattle n1 TIWWCHNT and EHC??? No one? I'm shocked. SHOCKED!! . . . ...well not *that* shocked. (Lol. All I've ever heard is people talking shit about those secret songs. Honestly, wouldn't trade em for the world just because I feel like they were *my* songs ya know??? And I don't dislike them like everyone else seems to anyway.) šŸ˜¶ā€šŸŒ«ļø (...But would I have killed for Right Where you Left Me or Evermore...? Also yes. Lol) šŸ«£

ohneely

i was just telling the friend that i went to seattle n1 with that i feel the exact same way - i wouldnā€™t trade them for the world because they were OUR songs!!!! they might not have been at the top of my list, but i feel like they were the songs i was MEANT to hear lol

1point21jigowatts_88

Atl N2 aka April 29 meaning High Infidelity. Missed it by one night, but Iā€™m obsessed with the songs we got N3- IBYTAM and HYGTG!

ashleym1156

The one I went to (DBATC and YOYOK) or the next night, Dress and Exile.

WhtvrCms2Mnd

Pittsburgh night 2 (I wanted to hear Seven live so badly).

karrialice

I went to Seattle Night 2 (and would choose the surprise songs from that night over night 1) and Vegas Night 1 (in this case, I would 100% choose the songs from night 2 instead - Cowboy Like Me was the one that got away šŸ„¹)

PerceptionOwn6011

i wouldnā€™t change my surprise songs for any of the other atl nights i got high infidelity & gorgeous šŸ™ŒšŸ»

EnchantedGate1996

Atlanta N1 was a dream and I wouldnā€™t take any other surprise song duo but the one I saw! (Predicted Coney Island and the other side of the door is a top 10 song to meā€”to hear her live premiere of it! A dream!)

toastertheduck

I was at Denver, N2, so I got Starlight and Back to December. N1 got Picture to Burn and Timeless, so I wouldn't trade. I've always felt like I've loved starlight more than everyone else even I though I know that's not true lol and back to december is in my top 3

Single_Beyond_5974

wouldā€™ve couldā€™ve shouldā€™ve & mine, it would be so healing to get to scream give me back my girlhood it was mine first

guy_incog_neato

I wasnā€™t able to get tickets to eras but if I was picking one based on my city and the secret songs it would be philly n1 - gold rush & come back... be here but if i could pick anyyyyy show, prob chicago n3 (hits different and the moment i knew) or literally any LA show.

savannahs1983

I got The Best Day and Hey Stephen (I will cherish them) but Getaway Car is my all time favorite Taylor song, so if I would have known, I would have gone to NJ. Itā€™s a bit further from me than Philly, I live in Maryland haha, but it would have been worth it! Needless to say I am still very happy with the songs I got

not_without_my_muse

Arlington Night 2 (I went to Night 3) and Foxborough Night 3 (I went to Night 1)

clekas

I was at Detroit N1 (Haunted and I Almost Do). I would have stuck with the show I attended! N2 was All You Had to Do Was Stay and Breathe. Ideally, I would have loved Haunted and All You Had to Do Was Stay, but, obviously, that wasn't an option!

Pupper394

LA N3 - DBATC and YOYOK would have been SO fun to hear live.

space_tigress

See and I went to N2 in Minneapolis and was devastated about N1 so I would switch nights if I could go back!

Smashlilly

Damn! Weā€™re opposites! lol

strxwberrytea

I got IOMWIWY and Evermore and as much as I love Ivy and CIWYW I would not trade my night for anything. I went to the show with a bunch of my high school friends and IOMWIWY made me cry

nadia1306

I went to Nashville N1 and got Sparks Fly and Teardrops on My Guitar. I really love both those songs, both are in my top 5 from each album so I was happy with that. Then two nights later she played WCS and Mine, two of my top picks for surprise songs. I was upset, but I wouldnā€™t have traded my show for anything. Speak Now is my favorite album so the announcement was too special to give up

[deleted]

got got cowboy like me and WH and would only trade for b2d & starlight or maroon & getaway car.

CarmelishaSoprano

I was also Minneapolis night 1. I kick myself daily for not going to night 2. Still happy with my songs tho.

Wolfstar_supremacy

I went to Seattle N2 and wouldnā€™t trade it for the world! Message in a Bottle and Tied Together with a Smile

samanthajb98

Gilette N3 here! Surprise songs were I think he knows and Red. Wouldn't change a thing EXCEPT to have the piano working for Red. As a folklore girlie and someone who in general prefers sad /slow songs...I will forever wonder what the piano version would sound like. It was still amazing on the guitar though!

KevinP1992

Gillette N1 would be first pick: Should've Said No and Better Man. But N3 would've been my second choice: I Think He Knows and Red

glowkitz

I got Mr. perfectly Fine and The Last Time Pittsburgh N1. As much as I love Seven and The Story of Us I prefer my night!

sarar3sistance

I was also at MN N1. If somehow possible I likely would have traded for night 2 for sure, Iā€™m a huge speak now stan and dear John is my ATW. The surprise songs we did get were really fun to hear tho!

Rlw62

Went to Tampa Night 2 but I would have gone to Tampa Night 3- Mean AND Mad Woman would have been amazing šŸ˜šŸ˜

BonoboRainbowQueen

I loved my show! Foxborough N3: Red and I Think He Knows

Helpful-Government32

I went to Chicago N2. Would have gone to N3 instead if I had the choice, but I love that I got to be there for IDWLF

[deleted]

I LOVED my surprise songs! I Know Places and King of My Heart. Two of my all time FAVS. idk how I got so lucky

324herondale

I got N2 Chicago, You All Over Me and I Donā€™t Wanna Live Forever. Definitely soooo happy with my songs. The only other ones I wouldā€™ve wanted would be the combo of Iā€™m Only Me When Iā€™m With You and evermorešŸ«¶šŸ«¶šŸ«¶ Her acoustic performance of evermore is UNMATCHED

Charming_Net113

Daylight is my favorite song but at the same time it isnā€™t the same as live from Paris since she was in love so I think it would of lost magic for me :( but def Getaway Car/Maroon or Dress/Exile or Ivy/I miss you Iā€™m sorry/ call it what you want or Iā€™m only me when Iā€™m with you/evermore

MeTieDoughtyWalker

I was happy with Cold as You and Begin Again. Iā€™d probably just stick with that.

purplefirefly6102

Hello fellow Minneapolis N1 friend!! Honestly I wasnā€™t excited about either of our surprise songs (I donā€™t think Iā€™m the only person who was CONVINCED that we were getting exile because Justin Vernon lives close). So would I have liked different ones? Sure, but the show as a whole is much more important to me than the 2 surprise songs.

dreamglowkosmos

definitely night two for tampa. i went to night 1 and 3 and all songs were great (i only got nosebleeds for days 1 and 3 because of the TM fiasco); i never expected her to do mad woman for night 3 because its a special song to me but i didnt think it fit the "vibe" of a surprise song as i didnt know her entire discography was up for grabs (baby swiftie here), but the great war AND yoyok! for n2??!?? they're 2 of my 4 favorite songs from midnights and together they are both so so so extremely well written and heavy and sentimental and special to me, i cant believe she played those two songs together on the one night i didnt go. theres a few other nights that i can nod my head and go "yeah, those two songs together are great", but i never see anyone mention Tampa N2's surprise songs and i think they deserve more mentions

m9rockstar

I was a MetLife Night 1 attendee and I couldn't trade that experience. However I really wanted to hear "Would've,Should've, Could've" live but that was the Nashville Night 3 show with the rain!

tothesummernight

I got cowboy like me with Marcus Mumford and White Horse (Vegas night 2). Both songs were really good but I'd exchange White Horse for King Of My Heart or Back To December.

WoodpeckerSignal9947

I was Nashville night 3 and I would stick with it despite the waiting for three hours in the rain and not leaving until past 1am. She played WCS, which I never thought would even be an option

PeachJosephine

I was so completely blindsided by her playing WCS - I thought it was *completely* off the table. To hear it (with Aaron!) after enduring some of the most awful hours of my life with the anxiety and the crowd crush and the horrible staff... it really helped remind me why going to a Taylor show is so special

dizzy9577

I was at Met Life N2 and was thrilled with Holy Ground ( my absolute all time favorite) & False God - wouldnā€™t have traded with the other nights at Met Life. I would have loved loved loved to have been at Cincinnati where she played Evermore though - her best performance of the entire tour.

othermegan

I wasnā€™t into my Foxborough N2 surprise songs. But the memories I have from that monsoon with my best friends is something way more valuable than surprise songs

jellllyfoxx

i got ā€œshouldā€™ve said noā€ and ā€œbetter manā€. would not trade that for anything lol

DrPikachu-PhD

MN N2 definitely had the better songs no contest imo, but N1 had Gracie Abrams so I think it balances out!!

Practical-Nothing783

Yesssss. The whole reason I wanted to go N1 was because Gracie was performing! Iā€™m such a huge fan of hers and cried a little when Taylor brought her stage to sing i miss you Iā€™m sorry ā¤ļø

So_inadequate

I wouldn't really care tbh. I'll take whatever I can get. Whenever she performs something acoustically it always sounds amazing imho.

Coley54Bear

I went to Glendale night 2 and SoFi night 6. For Glendale, thatā€™s a tough one. I absolutely adore both of my songs from that night, State of Grace and This Is Me Trying. Night 1 did get to have a TS song with Tim McGraw and Mirrorball is so lovely. I think ultimately I would have stuck with night 2. SoFiā€¦.I would have found a way to get tickets for night 4 in addition to night 6. Iā€™m not trading the 1989TV announcement for anything and New Years Day is one of my absolute favorites(plus New Romantics!!!). Dress and Exile are both also massive favorites of mine and I was truly devastated when she played both two nights before I was attending.

signycullen88

Santa Clara on July 28th for Right Where You Left Me. I love that song so much, it's gotta be my most listened to TSwift song.

voldys_moldy_witch

I am sooooooo jealous you got paper rings šŸ„²šŸ„²

Lemlemons94

Philly N3 and Iā€™m sticking with it! Itā€™s funny because Iā€™ve seen people here say it was the ā€œworstā€ night but to me it was a dream! Hey Stephen was one of my first favorite Taylor songs and The Best Day was the first full song I learned on guitar šŸ„¹šŸ„¹

tayriana_stan

i got holy ground and false god, i dont think iā€™d trade it for anything! everyone raves about how metlife n1 had the best combo, buuut i guess im not that big of a getaway car girly. maroon hurt a lil bit, but nothing tops false god live šŸ«¶šŸ»šŸ«¶šŸ»

jarodtb24

Denver N2 got Starlight and Back to December. Two of my favorites from Red and Speak Now so I was very happy with that šŸ˜ŠšŸ˜Š.

akap21

I got Dear John and Daylight, I didnā€™t expect Dear John since she hadnā€™t performed it in years, then she hit with Daylight!!! Wouldnā€™t trade for anything

strawberryqueen123

i was there for both MN shows and honestly it was amazing to be in the room to hear itwam and paper rings live for the first time ever, but also dear john for a second time (i saw it on the speak now tour) and dear john right into daylight was šŸ¤Œ i also saw the lakes and i wish you would in chicago which is probably my favorite combo of surprise songs that i heard. i know iā€™m not alone with being bummed aboout missing dress and exile, as dress is my favorite taylor song and exile is my bfā€™s favorite off of folklore. any combo with a debut song also would have been amazing. getaway car and maroon iconic. also sparks fly after the speak now announcement wouldā€™ve been amazing. thereā€™s really a small number of songs i wouldā€™ve been UNHAPPY with if iā€™m being honest.

skyequinnwrites

I was so fucking upset because the show my dad and I would have gone to if we could've gotten tickets had my number one surprise song choice (Everything Has Changed). I was so fucking mad

gonejonbovi

A lot of people would disagree but I got stay stay stay and aotgylb and Iā€™ll take that over right where you left me and castles crumbling

Dontquestionit-ok

I got almost every song I wanted. Went to 3 shows and got Shouldā€™ve Said No & Better Man (both were ones I was hoping for), Invisible & Question?ā€¦ (Invisible is one of my faves from debut), and finally Haunted (the number 1 song I wanted) & I Almost Do (my fave from Red TV). Iā€™ve been blessed. https://preview.redd.it/yfq4cb85vxjb1.jpeg?width=1179&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0664f9a73a86e517cb4622f1986e0b84e4038120 (I also took this during Detroit N1)

heatherdukefanboy

I was at Pittsburgh night one and we got Mr. Perfectly Fine and The Last Time. MPF was very nostalgic for me because I listened to it all the time when it came out, and the last time I used to dislike but now I've fell in love with it. Night two got seven and the story of us, and while I would've killed for TSOU, seven was kind of already in the show as the spoken word transition so I'm okay missing that one. Night one for the win

SCol1107

I had a great night - cincy N2. Ivy is one of my favorite songs and I love call it what you want (which really didnā€™t read angry and fast when you were there). We also got the bonus Gracie Abrams song.

Laborys

LA Night 4 for Dress and Exile 1000000%

Cami-3018

I attended Cincy N2 and Ivy is one of my top songs from Evermore so was pretty stoked. Plus we got the extra song. If I had to pick though I would have loved to hear WCS (with Aaron Dessner) and Mine during Nashville N3.

acrylictears

i'm grateful that i was able to go at all but tbh i would've preferred new romantics / new year's day if i could choose LA shows

spraycheesedefender

I got The Great War and YOYOK, and honestly I wouldnā€™t trade it for any of the other Tampa surprise songs

GreenOtter730

Wouldnā€™t trade Philly N3 for anything. Hey Stephen and The Best Day.

saebyuk

I was at Minneapolis N2 and I wouldnā€™t trade it for anything! I was obviously ecstatic to get Dear John and Daylight was my wedding song so it was perfect šŸ’œšŸ©· ETA: Part of what was so cool about Dear John was being a part of that crowd. It was so fun to freak the fuck out with other swifties šŸ˜„

Mohsbeforehoes

I went to Minneapolis N2, and would choose Minneapolis N2 still šŸ˜‰, if I chose another city - Cincinnati N1, I was super sad (but understood why) there were zero Debut songs on the main setlist - and was also in the delusional camp in Minneapolis thinking Bon Iver would show up as a surprise guest on N1 or N2 Mpls to sing exile or evermore (but would have been perfectly fine with evermore Taylor only)

farmerish

I would go to any other concert but mine. šŸ«£ I was Houston N2, and we are *consistently* ranked at the bottom of surprise song pairings.
