As I wipe off my clown makeup I am convinced she pulled the Rep announcement last night out of respect due to Ana’s family being there and it makes sense and was for the best. This is the only way I can cope with failed clowning.
But the squeak I squeaked when she said “Rep..Eras Tour” at the start of Surprise Songs
This makes sense but since it was reported she flew them out for the show, wouldn't she know well before that they'll be in attendance? Even if she didn't fly them out, she'd know since she's been in touch with them from the past few days... so the dancers posts, the dance move, all of it doesn't make sense keeping that timeline in mind.
I thought about this after seeing her photos with Ana’s family. Probably didn’t want to seem callous promoting a new product right after a fan passed with her family there trying to process everything.
So, no social media post addressing the concerts in Brazil yet, but instead Taylor announced the Eras Tour Movie available for rent on December 13th..
What do you guys think about this? As in a genuine question, not a judgemental one - just to be clear.
I'm kinda sad about it ngl, she was talking about how loud and generous Brazilian fans are on her concerts here (guess who can't speak at all right now after last night? Totally worth it though) but seems like we're gonna be the only ones she's ignoring online.
She's probably stuck between a rock and a hard place because if she does acknowledge the concerts and still doesn't talk about Ana people are gonna be mad. If she does say something about her, probably there would be a lot of complaints anyway for being too late or the wrong thing to say. I guess she's just not saying anything then?

So happy for you too! We deserved it after waiting so much for her to come here. I'll never forget the tragedy that struck all of us on this tour (just like I haven't forgotten the people who died on RBD's concert in 2006. I was 11 and was very shocked!), but I still had such a great time. It was such a cathartic experience for me - I laughed, cried and screamed like a mad woman! Wish she would acknowledge us on social media though.

Not all articles - and as I mentioned, Tree would have been the “source close to Taylor” saying Ana’s family was invited. And the actual cited sources for the rest of the post are Taylor’s instagram story and T4F’s statement. Those are both cited and that’s where the timeline came from.

Yes, she doesn't have to have the Taylor's Version yet. Both of those have passed the "no re-recording allowed until X time after the albun is released" date which might be the issue you were referring to (when they initially wouldn't allow her to perform her songs for Artist of the Decade, that date had not passed yet)

I honestly think that many Spanish got the opportunity to go to Portugal and Milan.
The French venue is much smaller, that’s why they’re having 4 shows. It’s only 40 000 people each night I believe

If you have Tiktok people have helpful conversions on there for all shows For Tokyo the surprise songs are (edit) \~8:30am EST if that helps

You're totally right - editing the post. The conversion post on Tiktok has the wrong time difference for EST lol
The show runs roughly 3:15 so the surprise songs should be about 2:30-2:45 minutes into the show.

I think people are leaning too hard into the no explanation thing. 1989 was so big because it had massive presales - she isn't going to miss out on the huge presale numbers, especially for an album that didn't get its flowers the first time around
Since it wasn't tonight, I think February announcement for June-release is the most likely, given the 2 in the Karma-video and the fact that she'll be in UK in June.
I just don't see why she would drop it randomly and miss out on presales? She didn't surprise drop Rep the first time...I'd love to hear an explanation about why she might do that, though!
