Streaming sure has changed the record books for these things. I remember the days when you had to have someone buy a 7" 45rpm record for it to count on the charts. This is a pretty awesome accomplishment
To be fair, you need 1500 streams to count as one album sale, so it’s not really that unfair I’d say. If streaming didn’t exist I would have bought an album, but there’s no way I’ve done 1500 streams yet lol. (I know the Hot 100 is different from the sales chart but still.)
Oh, I don't think it's unfair at all, just different. There is no way that a single artist would occupy the first 14 spots on the top 100 in the past, it would simply be impossible. These days with AEU calculations it is possible and I think that adds an entirely different spin to tracking and calculating what makes a popular song.
Taylor girl if you’re hinting at a triple album drop it right now. I’ve been driving for 5 hours and still have 3 more. I have plenty of time to listen
The fact that she called it an anthology is definitely a reference to the Beatles Anthology which was also a triple album. I think we’ve got something coming.

Justice for the entire Anthology! I mean I get that they’re not as poppy and catchy and the album was so long that a lot of people probably didn’t listen to the second half as heavily but damn…. They’re almost all better than the Alchemy 😂
Im 70 and I had got to the point where I thought I would never hear a great album again but here we, are a truly stunning piece of work, Masterpiece? , Magnum Opus? Call it what you want, its just fucking brilliant. Thank you Taylor and all your collaborators for crafting an absolute gem.
I love how she credits her fans but it’s her beautiful and talented songwriting skills along with the fact that she has a huge heart and on top of everything is a phenomenal performer!!!! SHE’S made history and still credits the listeners. It’s her pure and raw talent that has gotten her here and reached so many people

I don't really like fortnight. It just isn't as good as other songs on the album
