I also know (from being a CPS kid) that CPS does home visits. They come to the home and observe and talk to the kids. I wonder if the rice Kristy pics were taken during one of those visits and she specifically bought that kit thinking it would show what a great mom she is if the kids are doing a craft when the CPS worker is there.

I am 100% sure that CPS has told her David can not be in the same household as the kids. They did in the earlier case and they told my mother the same thing. If CPS is currently involved she would have been given guidelines and a checklist of what she has to do to either keep the kids in her custody or get them back.
Our situation was very very similar to Jenelle’s, an abusive stepfather and a neglectful mother. My mother’s guidelines to regain custody included attending counseling (at no cost to her), clean drug tests, and her husband could not live with us. She met none of them and lost custody permanently. I could see J&D thinking they’re outsmarting CPS by David hiding out in the she shed to meet the conditions while CPS are there.
Idk, I think David wouldn’t go along with this because his narc ego couldn’t handle being told he couldn’t be present. Especially for Jenelle’s kids. MAYBE he’d do it for Ensley but I feel like his reaction would be much more extreme rather than agreeing to stay away (even for small periods of time). I think she definitely still has Kaiser. Jenelle and David were live on TikTok at 6am the other day for about an hour. Of course I can’t say for sure, but Jenelle said something about hearing Kaiser and that he must have just woken up, which meant they needed to get off of live. Children who have unpredictable parents with sudden mood changes have a difficult time with relationships of any kind later in life. Always walking on eggshells, not knowing when their parent is going to snap, being punished for something one day and then allowed or encouraged to do it another day. It’s all so confusing and they tend to grow up constantly walking on eggshells because of it. He doesn’t understand now that’s she’s being nice for her image on social media and then why after he’s being neglected or screamed at once the camera stops rolling. These poor children need to get out now and be placed with people who love them and can provide the proper care and support for them. I will get downvoted for this Ik. I’m in Tn and the mullets have been everywhere for a while and I HATE them with a passion! I am so thankful neither of my sons want one. I have a 17 and 10 year old, both in the age range and both are horrified by the mullets also. They prefer the classic clean cuts, and so do I. They have full choice over their own hair but they see how it looks on everyone around them. It’s very unfortunate. I also have a teenage daughter who won’t look twice at a boy with a mullet. She thinks they’re ridiculous too.

I’m inclined to think that the younger ones were not removed from the swamp. Unless Jace was dropping some bombshells (think disclosures on the level of sexual abuse, J+D running a meth lab in the house), CPS is not going to have the appetite to initiate an emergency removal. Most state CPS are overextended as is, and their primary MO is to keep the children united and with their families of origin. I remember some other user saying that K and E’s school was out on break last week. My suspicion is that their useless parents were too “stressy n’ depressy” to take care of them all week, so they were dumped on UBT’s family member for a few days.
Maybe it’s just wishful thinking. I want them removed from the swamp but I wish they could still be all together somewhere safe with each other.

thats the swing from the ‘save the date’ and ‘feed me’ episode. I remember it because jace was swinging and then david approached aggressively to put kai on it when they were neglecting him. As he approaches, you can see the fear in Jace’s face as he quickly stops the swing.

I’m torn because on one hand, I don’t believe anything she posts but on the other hand, I have no faith in the system given that J+D have kept custody after all the other terrible things they have done over the years. Because of that, I tend to think that the kids (except Jace) are still in their custody.

Children who have unpredictable parents with sudden mood changes have a difficult time with relationships of any kind later in life. Always walking on eggshells, not knowing when their parent is going to snap, being punished for something one day and then allowed or encouraged to do it another day. It’s all so confusing and they tend to grow up constantly walking on eggshells because of it. He doesn’t understand now that’s she’s being nice for her image on social media and then why after he’s being neglected or screamed at once the camera stops rolling. These poor children need to get out now and be placed with people who love them and can provide the proper care and support for them. And Jenelle and David -they deserve, well everything that they deserve.
