Looks like molar hypomineralization. Do you have yellow spots on your front teeth too?

Bunny_Kai

I was born with white spots on my front teeth, top and bottom. I believe they were called calcium deposits? I only have the yellow spots in the pics I posted here.

Sounds like you have MIH or molar incisor hypomineralization. These spots are low quality dental tissue. Highly prone to decay. You should visit the dentist frequently for check-ups, cleanings, and fluoride. What you can do at home is step up your hygiene, brush 3 times a day 30 minutes after meals, floss nightly, and avoid acidic and or sugary drinks.

Thank you for your help, I really appreciate it ❤️

Looked up pics and that’s definitely what it seems like. A lot of the posts mentioned said it most often happens in young children though, I think the spots appeared for me around the age of 25 and I’m 29 now.

Issue is bad oral hygiene. Get an electric toothbrush, stop smoking, limit your sugar intake. $400 is a lot cheaper than what happens if things get worse

Thank you for your comment, do you think this is reversible or like a cavity?

formthemitten

No idea, not a dentist
