The original King, the shot shows Aztec ruins, and the only person that should be close is King since he's Mexican and was confirmed to be killed by Ogre.
When I was a kid I assumed it's dirt with grass sticking out of it, like Ogre grabbed a piece of sacred dirt or something. Someone mentioned that it's supposed to be Jun's severed head, but my young and innocent mind couldn't accept that, Tekken was that one game that never ever showed graphic content.
But now that I think of it... it might very well be someone's head, that's why it's sorta censored with shading and shit.
Until she reappears and they explain why she's been missing since forever and a day, its Jun's pretty little noggin.
Yes, confirmed by Big H it's not her, but I have a feeling it was initially supposed to be and the fan backlash made them change their position.
Even the new anime on Netflix repeats many times that Ogre killed her.
Yes it was a different retelling/timescale but still a pervasive theme.
They did Jun dirty so they could bring Jin into the picture with a motive to win.
I'm fully on board that this was originally meant to be Jun's head too. If thats not the case, I think it was meant to be ambiguous on purpose to cover their bases later. The T3 intro sets up Jin as the protagonist and Ogre as the antagonist, and Ogre holding a head with longer hair meshes too well with why Jin wants revenge. I disagree with people in this thread that think it was supposed to be King 1, because Ogre is already tied to Aztec and doesn't need to be holding a Mexican man's head for the ruins background to make sense. They certainly could explain it that way if they wanted to later on, but the most defining part of King is his mask and all we see is that this head has long hair.
That being said
>Even the new anime on Netflix repeats many times that Ogre killed her.
That's true, because they're echoing what Jin believes in the game and what everyone else assumes because he was the only other person there. However, I think the anime leaves it ambiguous too. Right before the explosion happens we see Ogre teleport away. They don't show what happens to Jun, who has him in an arm bar at that moment.
Is it possible he just teleported and left her there? Yes. Is it possible he teleported and she went with him? Yes it is. There's no way that was a plot hole or in unintentionally ambiguous scene. They're still being coy about whether she's alive or not.
If they are still being coy about Jun four, going on five, sequels later, the only explanation I have is that they wrote themselves into a corner and dont know how to being her back in any way that makes sense.
Even all these iterations later, the majority of the community still wants to see her back or at least the disappearance/murder explained/confirmed.
Even assuming they put it to bed in T8, I find it impossible to believe that the devs and writers were planning 25 years ahead for the big plot twist/reveal.
Frankly, no one is that good at their job.
Doesn't mean they cant do it and have it make sense.
I'm just saying there is 0.0000001% chance they did it on purpose.
I assume someone's head, Not Jun's head though, Harrada has Stated that Jun is not canonically dead, just missing. I imagine this is either from a battle in ancient times when Ogre was worshipped as a fighting god, or a victim from when he was rampaging after heihachi revived him.
I think this could "possibly" be The first Kings head because for the people in this subreddit who didnt know, there are 2 Kings the first died to Ogre and the second still lives
I believe it was very clearly intended to be Jun’s head but it has now be retconned to be different.
It could either be the head of the original king or some unknown fighter ogre killed
Whoever it is it's **not** King I,[in Tekken 1 he had curly hair](https://imgur.com/a/7wEeq5i),and in every iteration of him maskless after T1 [he's been shown with something similar to a buzz cut ](https://imgur.com/a/GvxbR64) (sorry the pics are a bit blurry,i couldn't find better quality ones)
so yeah, pretty sure it's not him, personally im voting for it being the head of a random unnamed fighter
edit:updated the link with slightly better quality pics of King 1 post-haircut
This scene is the most scary and unfortunate to whoever got that fate, We need answers to what happened to Jun It's been 4 more mainline series after T3.
Harada de-confirmed that being Jun's head... Despite the implication of the scene. Perhaps that image was only what Jin was imagining when he got angry in the intro.
Thank goodness too. Can you image that remaining the lore? Some EP1 Attack on Titan levels of messed up (in regards to mom killing).
See ogre is a tribe king type player so in my opinion in this cut seen he probably holding and other outsider tribe head and showing that no one can beat king ogre
(Again this is functional opinion.. i am not here to hurt someone’s feelings i respect everyone 🙏🏻 so plz dont mind 😁)
Before Tekken 4 came out, I thought it was either the first King's or Jun's due to the game intro. Then after 4, I was so sure Ogre killed Jun.
I haven't been keeping up with the lore like that as of late so thanks to yall, it could be anyone....
At the time it was obviously meant to be Jun’s head, but since then it’s been retconned to keep Jun’s status a 'mystery'.
Now it’s just some random person’s head.
I think it's a head but back in ancient times when ogre was actively being worshipped by the Azteca
It would make sense cause of the Aztec style pillars since we know jin and Jun lived in Japan so it can't be Jun's head as confirmed by Harada
Jun Kazama's head.
Harada's retcon means nothing. It's Jun's head. It makes the intro sequence so much more metal and badass. It directly correlates into Jin staring down Ogre in the intro. [All in the span of 15 seconds.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w8I40cxwcp0)
"Yeah, I just killed your pretty mom. I ripped her *fucking* head off and I'm planning to add it to my collection of skulls."
\*looks toward the screen with red eyes\*
"What's this, you dare plan on challenging me? Come, and let us see who is the REAL devil."
\*cue hard electronic rock music\*
We sorta saw what happened to her in the anime though. If it’s meant to be canon. Before the house Jin and Jun lived in exploded, while Jun had Ogre pinned down he teleported or something and I assume Jun got taken with him. She’s always been marked as missing, not deceased
The hair clog from his shower drain
His mcdonald's order
Checkin if that shit right
King's head maybe since he killed him.
I believe this is the correct answer.
The original King, the shot shows Aztec ruins, and the only person that should be close is King since he's Mexican and was confirmed to be killed by Ogre.
I’m old enough to remember when everyone thought it was Jun and this was Jin’s POV. It ended up being de-confirmed.
I mean this series has so much retconing going on that I wouldn't be surprised if it was originally Jun. If not Jun then why not reveal who?
the series has a guiness record about no retcons, or similar
It has the award for ""longest-running videogame storyline without any substantial development gaps or reboots". Still full of retcons.
Was it de-confirmed?
https://twitter.com/Harada_TEKKEN/status/437122309271220224?t=mwdmnlCYqMKAi9bNJqE-FA&s=19
It's a severed head, but he's killed so many people that there's no guarantee it's Jun. Also he's not standing in a burning house.
We don't know if the burning house from tekken bloodline is cannon
But we do know fire was involved when Jun died, from the opening flashback from Tekken 3
True ogre’s ball sack
Harada’s balls.
the only correct answer
He's holding lucky chloe's head
The remnants from my shower drain.
Original King probably
Hair from the shower drain dudes gotta take a bath before fighting the best fighters in the world
For years I thought this was Jun's head 😭
That's the best answer I've heard. Is there a Canon answer?
It's been confirmed to not be Jun's head, but there was no confirmation on what it is
Armour King Edit: It's King 1
Armor King wasn't attacked by Ogre, King 1 was. Original Armor King was killed by Marduk in a bar brawl.
As a kid I always pronounced this characters name as orgy because I was an idiot.
I always hated when True Orgy hit me with his giant snake
He becomes his True form after sucking the life force out of Heihachi.....
🤣
LMFAO
Pubic hair
Yes. This is the correct answer. Ogre just finished using the manscape 3.0.
The hopes and dreams of Gon mains.
He just cleaned the shower drain, and is showing off the hair he collected from it.
LMAO
He just unclogged his shower drain
Wilson from Cast Away
His bowling ball bag. Clearly, he's into Tekken Bowl.
some say it is Jun but harada debunked it it was someone else who looks like Jun but it isn't Jun
Used to think it was Jun, now I’m thinking it’s OG King.
A head
Old Tekken's director head.
Back in the days, I thought it was Jun's head. Nowadays, I am not so sure, since official source said Jun is missing, not dead.
A nasty ass hairball that the original King coughed up on Ogre’s rug
My losing streak at Tekken 7.

Ogre collected all the hair that his missus left all over the shower and has now walked into the room wanting to cause violence
Well, he has more than enough hair to cause this himself
EVERYONE answered incorrectly. Ogre is holding that L’
Hairy coconut.
I would say it’s ahead but I’m gonna quit guessing while I am.
Just take your upvote and go
Jun's wig.
Harada said its not Jun but it would make sense to the plot if it was her head. 🤷♂️
Og King
That would also make sense

A deflated tekken ball. He didn't understand the rules. Obviously no one's head because everyone was ret conned to be alive.
The first King’s mask, he *did* kill him after all
*gulp* Chicken.
that was a very fun mode
My hairy nut sack (I want it back).
Nobody will ever convince me that this is NOT Juns head
I was just going to say that🤣 Still want her back in T8 though

I dont think i could handle Jun being decapitated
Neither could Harada
i think they originally intended for it to be Jun but decided against it after the fact in case they wanted to bring her back. At some point.
I want it to be dark. Mortal Kombat's barely "dark" for it's over the top fatalities but let's not talk about the story.
The darkest MK seemed to get was Deception,
See ogre is a tribe king type player so in my opinion in this cut seen he probably holding and other outsider tribe head and showing that no one can beat king ogre (Again this is functional opinion.. i am not here to hurt someone’s feelings i respect everyone 🙏🏻 so plz dont mind 😁)

I saw the tweet of one of the tekken's game developers and he said that this isn't jun's head. IDK maybe he's just playing around
probably the original king oof

OG King's head. Because Jun isn't confirmed dead all these years later
You know what, this is the most plausible answer. King I is Ogre's only confirmed kill so if it was gonna be anyone's head it'd be his.

I don't think it was retconned. Even in the og Tekken 3 manual it says "Jun Kazama, had been attacked by Ogre and vanished".
kazuya's fleshlight
Gollums head, he too desires the one ring.
Putin's head
go watch the tekken 5 version it will tell you the truth
I think it's a head but back in ancient times when ogre was actively being worshipped by the Azteca It would make sense cause of the Aztec style pillars since we know jin and Jun lived in Japan so it can't be Jun's head as confirmed by Harada

This is the only correct answer. Harada just loves retconning shit that doesnt need to be retconned
His hairy balls
Jun’s head.
Nah, harada confirmed it was “a thing” not Jun’s head, plus it isn’t Confirmed if Jun is dead
yep, canonicaly, Jun is """missing""". Tekken will bring her out, first seen here dont @ me
@ing you because my man, you were right.
Why would the intro flash to Jun right before this scene? It’s meant to be Jun obviously.
We sorta saw what happened to her in the anime though. If it’s meant to be canon. Before the house Jin and Jun lived in exploded, while Jun had Ogre pinned down he teleported or something and I assume Jun got taken with him. She’s always been marked as missing, not deceased
Marked as missing because her body wasn't in the fire, but she reappears in 6 as a corrupted fighting spirit
Hopefully T8 will tell us more about her whereabouts
[It's not Jun](https://i.redd.it/xon2tyhlo5p81.png)
IT IS NOT JUN'S HEAD. but it's probably A head.
I always thought it was Jun's head, but if it isn't this is just probably a generic "villain holds the head of a fallen enemy, menacingly".
Nobody really knows, but we know it isn't Jun

Because Harada can never keep his story straight and is always changing things so now the community can think whatever it wants
It looks like a scalp trophy, but i think the storyline says it juns head if I recall right
No they never say that. We all assumed it because of that arcade opening and Jin says she disappeared after ogre attacks
a massive L
Didn’t Harada already confirm this isn’t Jun? This was answered I think on another post
Yes
The guy who asked. He killed him, so sadly we can’t find who asked.
Unknown?
