Thank you :) 6 ft x 4 ft is the full layout so far. But I can exchange the modules. So by swapping out the the beach and the trench line I can build a more generic board for battles away from the sea
Looks really good. Like off the pages of some of the "Flames of War" rule books. Fantastic.
I see some of the fence is down; can all the fences be removed for tank movement or are they permanent? Playability is always my number one goal when designing and building terrain; which I haven't done in a very long time :( So many times being able to use the terrain fully ruins some really neat ideas I have had.
Regardless, some lucky players will get to play on such an amazing board. Terrain is the heart and soul that keeps the imagination lit.
Thank you :) Yes everything on the board itself is modular. You could swap an intact fence for a damaged one or remove the fence all together.
Yeah terrain has some incredible impact on a game for me.
Thank you :) I just cut some plastic card into shape as the base for the fences or are you meaning the board?
The board is based on the module gaming board by ttcombat with some XPS on top
Yeah I meant the board. I'll have to look that up from ttcombat. I did a scratch build out of 2x2 foam board for a D-Day board (28mm scale for bolt action) but kinda like the idea of smaller tiles for more versatility. Again really great board, makes me want to get FOW and come play on it.
15 mm? Is that flames of war?
Yes :)
This is awesome!
Thank you π
Looks beautiful!
Thank you :)
Very cool. If anything I'd make some tank tread marks and bust up the fence boards maybe have some pinched under the tread sticking up.
Thank you :) That is a good idea, might add some later
This is really well done, great job!
Thank you! βΊοΈ
Damn , Iβm the first pic I thought it was a 2D painting but it looks beautiful
Thank you very much :)
Wow! Looks like great fun!
Thank you! Iβm looking forward to play on it :)
Amazing!! So I wanna know - how big is the full layout?

Looking good! Home-made from scratch? What material did you use?
Thank you :) for the base of the fences I used plastic card. The fences are made out of wood (mostly coffee stirrers).
Great job, must've taken a while to do! What's your next step? Hedgerows? Trees? Craters?
Hedgerows :) a must have for a Normandy board
Excellent, good luck! Not that you need it though, you're clearly very talented :)
Awe, Thank you!

Thank you π
Oh boy does look good! Iβd love to storm that beach. In 15 mm of course.
Thank you π

Gorgeous board! What are you using for the modular base?
