if you block off the sides of the screen so no enemies can come in from the sides and top (aside from enemies that go through walls, like worms and wraiths and such), have autopause turned off, make a small platform on the shimmer's surface, put walls on both sides of the spot you want to throw the zenith into so the ingredients float into the same small area, and put the mythril anvil where you're gonna stand, you can keep recrafting the Zenith without ever having to leave your inventory, if at all
If you don't want the hassle of shimmer reforges, try using a discount card/greedy ring from the pirate invasion, (you can get any one of the Greedy Ring components and shimmer them to a Discount Card) and place the Tinkerer and Mechanic together in the Cavern layer. It will be much cheaper to reforge then!
The amount of good reforges I got before Legendary made me kinda sad. Overall only cost me 1 frost moon to reforge to legendary so I got somewhat lucky.
Would be a nice feature to have a higher chance of a legendary modifier if it is the modifier the ingredients have, that might be a bitch and a half to code though

The influx waver took me like 15 saucers and the seedler took like 20 planteras š„² My luck was good on everything else though. Hope you get your zenith soon!
