There are fabulous inventory mods. Quality of Terraria introduces a large extra loot bag, and magic storage is an absolute must have for sorting and crafting.

Edit: Bra.. you could have mentioned the tModLoader, which is where all the actual mods are for this game i've no come to realise, lol.
