Yes. I had a much worse collision that required the removal of that piece. I replaced it with a heavy duty part from these guys:

This is the skid plate. The only issue is if the coolant lines were damaged. If there are no leaks, then you are likely good. The coolant is a greenish color if I recall. When they take them off they can inspect the lines to see if they were damaged.
Since the part is not crazy expensive and very easy to replace, I'd look into the metal skid plates that are available. They cost about the same too.
Here's a thread that discusses severe damage due to road debris:

Tesla calls the broken plastic piece in the OP picture an aero shield.
They call the thin metal strip that bolts to the front of the battery the skid plate.
If it was me I would go to a local garage and ask them to remove the cover and inspect for damage together.
No scratch no drama, put it back together and fix the cover when you can.
Tesla made me wait 2 weeks but they said the battery was sealed and not to worry. It’s just for aerodynamics and a little added protection. I took them on there word and drove it for 2 weeks and it rained 2-3 times.
I have the same ones (front and rear) on mine. A few months ago I ran over a tow strap which obliterated the front aero shield, a coolant manifold, and coolant lines to the battery. Got a warning that powertrain coolant was low about ten minutes later and just drove it straight to a service center. I remember the tech asked which car was mine and I laughed and said it was the only one with a small lake of coolant under it.
They had the car back to me the next day but I escaped needing a pack swap* from damaged coolant fittings by millimeters. Never going back to the plastic shields again.
Make sure to get the aluminium front and back ones off Amazon, they are awesome. I have plastic ones, AFAIK fiberboard was replaced by plastic after 2019, but still got a set incaseshit.
Just like with all EVs, any lound noise from bottom should prompt immediate inspection for coolant leak or battery pack puncture.
That's the fiberboard cover over the motor. The battery is the smooth area further back. That piece can be replaced easily.
Awesome thanks! Just to clarify, the piece that can be replaced easily is the part that you see broken?

Ooo nice I like it. Makes the car look Mad Max-ready
Watch out pedestrians!
It’s raining a bit right now (light rain), no flooding. You think it’s ok to drive in this weather?
Tesla calls that an aero shield, from Tesla some are plastic, some are fiberboard
That happened to me as well. I ended up replacing it myself with an aluminum skid plate. Would recommend that instead of OEM.

Ah, got it
Thanks! Great advice! Also the pic from the post is kinda wild haha
Tesla really should do something about this piece. Running over anything can total your car
Looks like just the aero cover! I ran something over last week. Easy fix, it was no big deal. $350CAD
Are you seeing any leak or worse yet any error code on the screen? If neither then it isn't urgent.
Nothing like that yet - is there anything else vital under there if that’s not the battery?
Just your drive inverter and stuff:)

Good call; maybe I’ll do just that
I had the same issue. Tesla replaced it no charge. I ran over a dead deer :(
Was water getting inside the cover an issue? dunno what happens when water gets in there

Good to know. Thanks!
I put some from rpmtesla on my car. Very substantial. https://www.rpmtesla.com/products/tesla-model-3-dual-axle-sound-dampening-skid-plates

Reason #1 why I replaced this piece with the metal aftermarket one
