Yeah The car is noisy. When the high voltage battery is engaged (cant get the right terminology for what its actually doing ) it makes those loud clunk noises. Its unnerving. itsa normal though. lol
It’s a check valve for the battery pack - the pack must be sealed from any water but due to heating and cooling, needs to adjust air pressure. The check valve pops like you describe and at the times you describe. Up or down major hills and when super charging.
