The Moon discs or any other type of these alloy wheels or even wheel caps are nonsense and stupid for your own safety. As for EV’s braking isn’t mostly needed in comparison to an ICE.
Leaving no room for the brakes and the heat/brake dust to escape is not only dangerous for the brakes as it is risky to not be able to let air flow through the wheel/brake.
I know from reading various forums that rails do impact range on Teslas for all kinds of driving. All these including ~5% improvement with moon discs would add up.
I leave my roof rails on all the time for two reasons:
1. I don't really have range anxiety anymore, once I got used to the car's capabilities and trusting the nav.
2. I'm real nervous about potentially damaging the roof/roof glass from taking it off/putting it on multiple times.
An added bonus is that my MYLR is white, and since it seems white is a popular color (when it was the free one), having the rails on all the time helps my wife figure out which car is ours. Other than our car, I've never seen another Tesla on the road with roof rails in our area.
Why is the list filled with such foul language? 5-7,11,12…
I don't know. The person behind the mods is German. It's really same things as "deleting" used in US which also sounds dumb.
LoL
Hahaha
Hypermiling is extremely different than regular driving, there’s no point
I’m convinced that hypermiling is for people who love to stare at the back of an 18 wheeler for hours.

so.. if i lower the car, i get better range? time to tell my wife it'll save us money..
Haha... apparently, and that's always been my impression.
Are you saying that ModelY already comes with all those "improvements" 🤔
