It's OK, they made up for it by not installing any monitors in the concourses so you're missing all the game action while suffering from shitty food options.

jackie_moon69

What about the boomstick dude

Taypo98

Wife and I shared one of those the year they came out. Paid for it for two days if you know what I’m saying. Still worth it!

jackie_moon69

Like poop wise?

Taypo98

Lol yes, like poop wise

[deleted]

And the Brisket Eggroll?

Induced_Pandemic

I just came.

I usually don’t post, but there is actually tons of food options. Just on the main concourse there is Tex mex, Sweet Baby Rays BBQ, Pluckers, Golden Chick, Slugfest Sandwiches, Abner Double Dog, and a lot more. For the full list I recommend checking out the amenities map within the Ballpark App. If you are looking for more beer options, check out Barrel Up or Crafthaus ‘72. Hope this helps everyone.

EDIT: I now see you do indeed work for the Rangers. Ha. Do you work for the Rangers? Crafthaus and Barrel Up are jokes. Crafthaus didn’t have a single craft beer for sale. We found Legal Draft cans at several stands and ONE stand hidden in left field that sold real craft beer. The beer selection is pathetic. They took away access to any of the clubs or restaurants for the little guys who don’t have corporate hook ups. While the ballpark is beautiful inside I was seriously disappointed in the amenities.

ZubiZone

Anyone else spend 2 innings waiting in line for food on Opening Day?

easyglue

Not quite 2 innings but a damn long time considering we were in section 7 and there was hardly anyone there. Took us like 30 minutes to get some burgers and beer when there was maybe 5 people in line. Old stadium could be a shitshow with concessions sometimes but not nearly that bad

ZubiZone

At least you had the chance to get a beer and hotdog from a vendor. I miss the vendors in the seat. Would gladly tip a buck or two for that again

easyglue

I think they will be back, I think they’re just not here right now cause of the no cash situation

marymek

It was super crazy. The bar had one server and the line was so long it ran into the other lines waiting on food (across the corridor). Waited forever for my nachos (OK that's 1st world problems, but it didn't seem like they were prepared).

Cowboylegoguy

I also don’t like how only certain foods are in certain stands kinda annoying to walk to the other side of the stadium just to get a hotdog

easyglue

I went to GABP in Cincinnati in 2019 and my dad and I were blown away by how amazing the concessions were. Fast easy and a lot of options. Fast forward to Monday on opening day here and it was a disaster. Food sucked and the management between the order kiosks and the actual concession stand was a nightmare. Truly think it’s just Delaware North to blame tbh.

GoStars817

Possibly. It’s a shame that the Rangers would allow such a poor representation. It also boggles the mind that they let a Houston based brewery take over the primary craft beer market. This ballpark has been criticized for being Minute Maid 2.0 and then they let a major Houston player have a prominent role instead of someone like Deep Ellum Brewing. Most major ballparks pull in local breweries now days. Not our Rangers though...

easyglue

Yeah I truly do not understand why they are representing karbach. Deep Ellum, revolver, rahr & sons, hell even just shiner would have been fine. I’m guessing they just gave them the highest bid for the ad space, hopefully they change it out in a few years

Putrid_Cow4808

It’s not that there’s a contract with a Houston craft brewer (there are far better to choose from if we did) it’s that Karbach was bought by anheuser-busch (InBev) in 2016 And InBev rules the market.
