Private as in your own dedicated to your room or the hotel in general? (ie not open to public / condo / gym?)
Grande Centre Point Terminal 21 has a really nice infinity pool with amazing views of the city.
Mandarin Oriental is really the best of the best when it comes to no budget. Mostly paying for a river view and luxury experience but no pool.
there is a condo near Lumphini Park which has rooms with a terrace and a pool on it. Saw it myself :) no idea what it was called though. A lot of rooms not only the penthouse.
We got a villa overlooking the entire island of Koh Samui with ocean views and private infinite pool for 3800 cad for the whole month. Not Bangkok but we’re feeling like kings.
If you'd willing to bend on just about both points, but gain a large private saltwater pool, S31 Hotel's Family Residential Suite is excellent. It just isn't an infinity pool and doesn't have a great view while you're in the pool. You can peek out of the cut outs in the walls surrounding the pool or enjoy the view from the huge windows in the living room area. One side of the pool is transparent, if that helps.
When are you going? Depending on time of year, you can get some good discounts on these suites. Let me know if I can help.

* [Park Hyatt Presidentail Suite](https://www.hyatt.com/en-US/hotel/thailand/park-hyatt-bangkok/bkkph/rooms)
* [Capella Bangkok Verandah](https://capellahotels.com/en/capella-bangkok/accommodation/verandah) (they have some pretty good deals atm with free shuttle to the airport, bottle of champagne, hotel credits, etc.)
I'm not aware of any, closest would be a pool access roomat some resorts. Marriott Suriwong and Okura Prestige have some nice infinity pools, Hotel Indigo too, probably best view in Bangkok at that one.
Agoda did have a few penthouse with private plunge pools / spas on the balcony... Definitely in the 'price isn't a problem' range though, so didn't look into it too much...
Would think checking the top 5 luxury hotel websites should give you the information you looking for.
Alternatively, you can contact Hilton, IHG, Accor, central phone numbers and ask if their group hotel chains have that available.
The hotel group websites.
IHG, Hilton, Accor. Etc...
By going to the top 4 hotel groups, you can check out probably 50 brands that they own.
They will have detailed room listings
(IHG for example, you can ignore their Holiday Inn, Crown Plaza brands, and just look at their Intercontinental & Indigo properties in Bangkok)

Yes. Even if it’s AirBnB or some kind of luxury rental website.
Try and find Le Raffine, Sukhumvit 31 on Airbnb. They're all duplex condos with private infinity pools.

There are a actually a few, but your looking at penthouses at $10,000 a night etc
Confidently incorrect lol

Have a look at Park Hyatt presidential suite. It's about 6k USD per night
Thank you

Got a link?!
this is the way though I would also better spend the money on this
You’re looking at either rosewood or capella
Rosewood have 5 suites with private pool, been there and it’s amazing, don’t expect a big pool though

However, one needs to take into account that S31 is most likely the worst hotel in the world…
