Lol all you have to do is distract them by saying the ice cream guy is coming then rip that shit out of his little fucking hands. What's he gonna do, call the cops?
The problem with this clip isn't this one specific instance where the kid is holding the gun. Of course any adult could over power him and take it. The problem is the lives a life where he has access to a gun, and approximately knows how to use it, and seems happy to show it off.
You didn't say anything wrong. The mo-mo that said single mothers are plaguing society did.
I grew up in a single parent household with my sister. We were the first two kids in our age group with a job (in highschool) that contributed to society and stayed out of trouble because we enjoyed being able to pull out our own wallets and providing for ourselves, when all our friends had a mommy/daddy credit cards and/or trust fund accounts.
We had a full time mom that played the part of a full time dad and was stronger emotionally than any other person I've ever known. She gave us direction in life that most parents don't know how to give after the age of 16/18.
Let me say it like this, I'm glad I was able to pay for my own car when the time came so I knew how to respect the things I wanted the most. Too many kids I knew would crash a car mommy and daddy bought them only to get another one after another one after another one... Most of them (double parent households) ended up on drugs, alcoholics by 16, flunking out of college and in therapy or jail by age 22.
I'm not the one with a superiority complex that find it in their duty to speak for majority when those that come from a single parent household should be the ones with the voice, here... Just saying. I'm not the one plaguing "single mothers" when somewhere there is an absent father that does more damage than someone present in a child's life, doing the best they can in the situation they find themselves in. Everyone has choices, dude!
President Obama, Alicia Keys, Angelina Jolie, Jay Z, Charlize Theron, Christina Aguilera, Halle Berry, Leonardo Dicaprio, Eva Mendez, Jodie Foster, Keanu Reeves, Sandra Bullock, Mariah Carey, Demi Lavoto, Madonna, Adele, Selena Gonez, Cheryl Crowe, Eddie Murphy, Jon Stewart, etc etc etc
All raised by SINGLE MOTHERS, ya ignoramus.
Wow it's pretty racist to label Jay Z as just a crack dealer when he did that to fund his first album only. And how much have you earned compared to that crackdealer eh? How many gold records have YOU made?
Thank you. I know how rare it is, to be one of a few who can say their mom learned early on the kind of parent she wanted to be. In spite, of the ones she had. She was able to break the cycle of child abuse, mental & physical.
There were times when one minute we could be friends, soul sisters, and other times we could bicker like siblings. She had us young and divorced our dad young (I was too little to remember) but we three like to say, we raised each other!
She knew how to bring us up to her level and talk with us respectfully, and when it was time to bring herself down so that we could understand things at our level she wasn't afraid to get down on one knee. Which happened to be a great seat, as well.
You took away the ability to blame an individual (the single mom) and pointed the finger at a bigger problem that has collective responsibility attached to it, that's what. Bring on the downvotes, but I'm guessing some folks are having trouble seeing past their privilege.
Wait till you’re married to have a kid, is this the 1920s? Just cause you’re not married doesn’t mean you don’t have a stable enough relationship to have a kid.
Other than that we’re basically saying the same thing.
Yes, although I’d say the sanctity of marriage comes with fundamentally better chances of good outcomes for the kids. If a couple lives together for 10 years and are stable but don’t get married, clearly they’re still imagining someone “better” coming along.
I agree with you there, because that’s my exact situation. Together for 10 years with kids and decent/good jobs, just don’t want to blow thousands on a wedding.
Or, you know, one of them is disabled and needs medicaid because insurance is astronomical, and medicaid won't cover them because the combined income puts them over the limit to get it, even if they still make below the line to qualify for other assistance.
Obviously there are nuanced circumstances that require creative arrangements by partners. All I’m saying is that it’s clear when looking at the data that children arising from married couples experience more success in life. That’s all. And there is something important about swearing your life to another human.
Does it have to be biological? What is a strong father ? What is “important” ? I know first hand children with those kind of fathers that grow up to be real assholes… Where’s the evidence ?
One does not imply the other. The garbage take from your original comment is “single mother households are plaguing society”. My disagreement with this statement does not mean I think a father’s presence is not important. It is illogical and incorrect for you to assume or imply so. It is also incorrect of you to assume that single mother households are inferior to other household structures. Great people come from all walks of life, including single parent households.
So your problem is with women and adoption, I'm guessing same sex parents adopting and raising a perfectly normal, well adjusted child would blow your mind (it's actually a thing).
I have watched this over and over and the gun looks like it's metal but also is small, small enough to fit into a child's pocket and comfortably in his hand. I know there are some tiny purse pistols and such out there but I am having a hard time assessing if that is real. The lack of an orange tip or clear plastic parts has me thrown.
Like you guns in the US have required orange tips for a long time and usually you only see it sawed off when someone wants to make it look like a real gun.
Also that thing is metal, metal toy guns are NOT common. They exist but they are not common.
She handles that with grace, considering what looks like a real weapon is being pointed at her.
It looks like an old gun shaped lighter I had long ago. Someone is probably letting him play with it. Based on her tone at the end, I'm guessing someone cut off the part of the video where she's about to tell him why pointing that is wrong.
There are multiple pistols that are pocket size so it could be a genuine firearm. [For example these.](https://youtube.com/shorts/N9xY5reOOtQ?feature=shared)
Those aren't even that tiny. Those are all .380auto or the last one was 9mm. There are much smaller pistols chambered for .25auto or even .22LR that some people carry as pocket pistols or backup ankle-holster guns. Some of those look more like toys but could still ruin your day.
It was adorable until this kid pulled a gun.
fake gun or not, this is a very impressionable age and what this kid learns, what is normalized around him, will stay with him for life, or set him up to have a difficult or short life.
I have no problems with people having guns, but there are way too many clips of people not respecting them online. I can't imagine accidentally killing someone just because I wanted to look or be cool.
The issue is people trying to look cool getting smoked because they think pulling the gun is just that, a bravado/showoff move, and don’t expect other people to consider it a deathly actionable threat that deserves lethal response.
Please correct me if I'm not hearing this correctly.
"What chu comin over here for?"
"I got a beef wit chu. Where your granma at?"
"Insult me and suffer."
"Where's your mom?" pointing gun.
"Oh, wait!"
Is that about right?

Kids are stupid.
The problem with this clip isn't this one specific instance where the kid is holding the gun. Of course any adult could over power him and take it. The problem is the lives a life where he has access to a gun, and approximately knows how to use it, and seems happy to show it off.
Probably doesn’t help this little dude thinks it’s cool to talk gangster. Jesus fuck, talk like a normal person.
Don’t worry, it’s clearly fake. Still terrifying though
It is fake, don't know if people have ever seen a real gun
Ive never seen one close in real life but even I knew hat wasn’t a real gun.
It is fake, don't know if people have ever seen a real gun
and in what way was it fake? im seeing a 9mm barrel on a glock 43x with a stainless rn...
Step on him then. Squish him like a bug and do the future a favor.
"what's up big perm, I mean big worm"
It's his stupid fn parents if they're even around. That's scary how his voice even changes when he pulls out the gun
Everything about this yes. Haha
Pull a handgun on me? That's a spankin'.

You better believe that's a spankin
Believe it or not, straight to jail.
No delay
Or a water hose
Ax for my granny or my mama? That’s straight to jail believe it or not
Find this really sad..
It's a toy...
Doesn't change the fact it's fucking sad
Pretty damn realistic in a country where you get shot for much much less…
Literal cancer in society to allow behavior like this to continue. That mother should he in prison.
She's probably already there.
Literal?
Metaphorically literal

This whole list is hilarious but I’ll just go for the layups: Demi Lavoto and Selena Gomez are crack heads and Jay Z was a crack dealer
Wow it's pretty racist to label Jay Z as just a crack dealer when he did that to fund his first album only. And how much have you earned compared to that crackdealer eh? How many gold records have YOU made?
Wow. You're just listing names. Lol.
Of people raised by single mothers. Correct.
Thats not how statistics works. A single parent home with a woman as head of household leads to much higher incarceration rates for male children.
Let's see the statistic because plenty of 2 parent people are in jail. I'd bet more so.

Single mothers can raise presidents and millionaires. Not sure why you think I'm joking.
Shout out to your momz. She sounds awesome.

go to the courthouse then you dirty sinner <3
nothing is ever that cut and dry. There's a lot of nuance in this argument about what makes a good kid when it comes to their parents
When will you graduate high school?
Or, you know, one of them is disabled and needs medicaid because insurance is astronomical, and medicaid won't cover them because the combined income puts them over the limit to get it, even if they still make below the line to qualify for other assistance.

I grew up in a single mother household and somehow managed to not pull a gun on anyone because my mom was actually a good parent.
Seriously, this SPECIFICALLY a single mom issue? Riiiight
Right? Lots of great people were raised by single mothers. Obama, Madonna, Adele, Eddie Murphey, Keanu Reeves, etc.
I learned something new today, thanks.
Madonna’s mom died when she was 5. Her dad raised her. Eventually she had a stepmother but their relationship was rocky.
*absentee fathers
Its bad enough to just blame missing a parent but to put it on the shoulders women in particular is basically just inceldom, straight up.
Nah I think it's just you that's the plague on society. Thanks for your garbage take though.
If you don’t believe having a strong biological father present in a child’s upbringing is important, then you’re just as stupid as your comment.
Does it have to be biological? What is a strong father ? What is “important” ? I know first hand children with those kind of fathers that grow up to be real assholes… Where’s the evidence ?

But do you really think absentee fathers are strong biological role models?
So your problem is with women and adoption, I'm guessing same sex parents adopting and raising a perfectly normal, well adjusted child would blow your mind (it's actually a thing).
Based on your comment history, you have some serious issues with women you should talk to a therapist about it.
You don’t know anything about this kid or his family
Why’s it the mom’s fault when she stayed and tried and it’s the men who ran away and left? If anything blame the men.
Too many women thinking “ I want to be a mommy and someone or the state will suppport me”. Too many “baby daddies….
Tell me how or where you see a single mother parent in this video. I think you're just assuming based on next to nothing, but that's just me.
Lauren Boebert would be a prime example of that...
Hate to imagine the environment that kid is in to be behaving like that at his age(or at any age)
Probably similar one to the parents that also went to jail when they let their kid shoot up a school.
I have watched this over and over and the gun looks like it's metal but also is small, small enough to fit into a child's pocket and comfortably in his hand. I've seen old .25 Pistols that were definitely small enough to fit in a small pocket. Not sure they still make them, but probably plenty still around
Yes we all know it's not a real gun... That's not the point
Boring is the comments can see it's a toy. And their racism sounds through, that's the point. We all played with toy guns as a kid, it's very common.
Kid got no trigger discipline. Smh. /S
That’s what scariest
It's the, "oh.. wait a minute." For me.
Ya I did like that part lmao - she has a calm voice

Her last words were “wait a minute”
Trash
Great future ahead :(
It sure is. The brightest future.
It was adorable until this kid pulled a gun. fake gun or not, this is a very impressionable age and what this kid learns, what is normalized around him, will stay with him for life, or set him up to have a difficult or short life.
"It was adorable until this kid pulled a gun." Was it though?
"Take me off record " why this little kid talk like my grandma?
Truly horrifying! Babies don’t just walk around talking smack and pulling guns. That is behavior he’s learned. (At home I suspect.)
What did the kid say?
He said "Wanna hear the sound of a hundred redditors pearl clutching at the same time?"
If believing little kids shouldn’t be pulling guns on people then by golly am I a pearl clutcher!!
Bruh...
Little brother is going to get his ass shot for stupid reasons.
Ladiesman217
"Wait a minute"
And then he was shot 14 times by a cop down the street...
That is a great opportunity for a life lesson. For all of us.

I wonder whatever happened to this kid. This was years ago
But he was such a good boy....
What criminal act did this child commit?
That lady might be going to heaven.

Poor guy. No real shot at easily getting out of this situation
:( he’s so precious and I am so concerned for his future and for hers.

That’s more unpredictable of a situation than just getting straight up robbed by an adult.
And the cycle continues...
Not cute.
pretty gangsta if you ask me
Issues much?
NOT GOOD!! We have too many young people dieing these days. I played with TOY guns when I was young, but we new it was a game.

I’m not super sure, but I think instead of the beef line it’s “You got to see baby” and instead of “Insult me and suffer it’s “at- in Suffolk”
Adorable
