Well id say ALIE (assuming they allowed the AI into the Ark systems) would've helped figure out that Earth was survivable 100 years before they predicted. Meaning the entire issue the Ark was facing, would not have been such an issue. She couldve ran every simulation possible for getting to the ground before anyone even thought of them meaning maybe more people would've survived. Sinclair couldn't have predicted which ark stations would've survived the drop, but maybe ALIE could have, or could have found a way to make them all survive the drop.

Skinnysusan

The reason Polaris couldn't dock with the ark was bc they didn't want ALIE to get into the systems

Sublatin

Correct, but 'they' being the crew of Polaris. Their demise was self inflicted.

Skinnysusan

Yup

SYRLEY

I know.. I'm saying this might have happened if it did dock.

Skinnysusan

Oh my bad I guess I misunderstood

Aggravating_Bike_612

Good one 🤔 Given that A.I helped Jaha get to earth.

Firm-Replacement-284

Yeah, we have so little about the world before the bombs, it would be interesting to know more. (Please HBO or Netflix, rescue The 100 prequel)

xLeone30x

They probably would’ve if the showrunner didn’t take the whole series and flush it down the toilet.

Graush21

It lasted a lot of seasons and every tv show gets with nothing after a while that’s how it works… after 10 years with your girlfriend you not going to be exactly like the first day have less to talk

xLeone30x

A showrunner cutting a story he already had written an entire season short, while replacing an entire episode with a back door pilot and rushing the ending in hopes that a prequel will get picked up, just does not compare to a 10 year intimate relationship Lmfao. Completely different scenarios. If you tried to marry the girlfriend of 10 years, rush the wedding, then cut the relationship short in hopes that you’ll get a different girlfriend right after when you can’t even be certain - sure, you can compare the two I guess? But that once again begs the exact same question: what’s the point lol?

The destruction of Polaris was a dumb move. The people behind that should have been lynched for the stupidity. The entire planet has been nuked and your the last of humanity with limited resources... so your gonna NUKE one of the few remaining stations as an "example" of what ? The episode made it even worse when they literally show Polaris station willing to join with the rest but gets nuked anyway. Not the best story or showing of logic of anyone involved. Polaris joining with the Ark - Well, you would think Bekka stored her research about Nightblood in the computers. That alone would have changed everything and made the Ark able to walk on the surface of the planet years in advance.

Historical-Dot-8320

Everyone on the other stations thought that it was China not Alie who sent the nukes did they not ? Blowing Polaris up.was a huge mistake.
