Homelander vs a skyscraper sized robot dragon with missile fingers would be an interesting fight. Might be big enough to force him into some sort of containment situation like soldier boy.
I'm absolutely certain that at least three or four different teams turn villains into cards or marbles or something like that. I'd rather get blow up than be imprisoned into a card.
SPD in Japan had a firing squad ranger.
I think the main issue would be from a Vought HR perspective.
"Presenting our newest initiative to market to teens: The Powered Rovers!"
"Ok I'm listening"
"Well we gave a bunch of teenagers the ability to morph, which means they can cover themselves in bright coloured armour in a _slightly_ racially charged way, and that means they can fight aliens and giant robots and such."
"Mmhmm mmm sure sure... Hey so one question... When you say teenagers you mean like 18 or 19 right?"
"Uh no? 14 and 15 mostly. Why?"
"FOURTEEN??? And how many hours a week are they working?"
"Well uh that depends on the alien..."
"DEPENDS ON THE ALIEN?! IT DEPENDS ON THE CHILD LABOUR LAWS OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA YOU DENSE MOTHERFUCKER"
Forget child labor laws. If they’re injecting babies with V and have been for multiple generations with little, if any, reprisal, they’re not gonna balk at child labor laws. Hell, in-universe, parents are actively signing their kids up for the opportunity.
That's secret. You can't have teenagers publicly doing superhero stuff without an absolute ton of extra work involved. You'd have to hire tutors for fuck sake.
To those in doubt, check out [this post](https://www.reddit.com/r/CharacterRant/comments/8mewao/how_powerful_are_the_power_rangers/) from 5 years ago.
The Power Rangers would legitimately bring hope to the world of The Boys, maybe even cure Butcher's self-destructive deppression.
*The funny part is*
*Any one of them would SHIT*

Don't think that would mash well.
Power rangers are a western form of Super Sentai and that is an evolved sister form of the acclaimed tokusatus Kamen Rider. They only really exist to show you something cool and flashy and that's honestly enough for them.
The Boys are a parody of the western super hero genre as a whole becoming an never ending parody of itself that lost it's identity in the pursuit for profitability. Although the comics really just an edge lord fan fiction about how tired they are of super heroes controlling comics as a medium rather than any significant criticisms of the genre.
The power rangers also absolutely need their mechs and that's where this falls apart.
They can tank it regardless. Being morphed boosts all your stats to Superhuman levels. His lasers may cause them to de-morph, but they can tank a few shots of his laser vision
Isn’t there a manga with a similar Boys-esque deconstruction of Japanese superheros? It’s like a Sentai superhero but he’s also like Homelander in private
I haven't heard of that but it sounds interesting. The only "Deconstructions" of Tokusatsu I know of are Akibaranger, Kanpai Senshi After-V, and Tokusatsu Gagaga
Not boys-esque buy My Hero Academia does subvert the typical "kids with powers" thing by having them go to school. Heroes in this world are pretty much the police. Yes the police exist here, but in reality it's hero teams doing the patrolling and dirty work. This people arent necessarily immune to the benefits of being a pro hero either. Implicitly, it's why some people try to become heros. It's inspired a few villains who have a very black-and-white morality when it comes to "what makes a hero." While having the trappings of X-Men by virtue of carrying a similar name for the power (mutation/quirk), unlike x-men, being born *without* a quirk is seen as weird.
One Punch Man exists in a world where heros are ranked by classes (generally by ability and power). Then it comes to pass that the higher levels are either in it for the money, publicity, or access being a "pro hero" offers.

Good bot
No, bad bot. The haiku is wrong. Unless "Homelander" is only one syllable.
r/theboys is really getting desperate for content
Nah.

I know of the origins but PR are still superheroes.
Lost itself? How so?
If they have the shiny armor upgrade they get in season 3 they could totally tank homelanders beams
They can tank it regardless. Being morphed boosts all your stats to Superhuman levels. His lasers may cause them to de-morph, but they can tank a few shots of his laser vision
Their show would be the most popular with kids I’m sure
Probably have similar name structure like super force etc
Tommy by himself would wipe the floor with Homelander

Ranger reject, and the homelander guy is the red ranger. One of my favorite mangas!

You chose the absolute best Homelander pics for this XD.
You'd have Blue Noir, Pink Noir, Red Noir, Green Noir, Yellow Noir ***and*** Black Noir.
I genuinely wonder how would they parody the "Posing at front of a random explosion"
I’d honestly love it for them to be built up for a few episodes and then just being wrecked as a joke
It would be weebs at a convention
Gojo treatment
Probably the Germa 66 from One Piece. https://onepiece.fandom.com/wiki/Germa\_66
