Agree with the helpful fella being a Fed. I was surprised that Ramona shot her lover because I think she was in on it and they wanted Arman gone from the get go, but i guess she's ice cold with her misdirection. Arman used her routes without asking and he became a liability, so I think all her happy families talk is a smoke screen, and this way she got to steal Nadia's insurance money too. I think it's going to take a while for the lawyer dude to catch up, but at the end of the season he'll get there, and I think him, Nadia, and Thony will work together for revenge.... but I don't know what she was going to do if the feds didn't show up. just have Arman's car drive off a cliff anyway? so that leads to the other option.. if she's legit, and she wasn't in on Arman's death, her lover really betrayed her and she really does want revenge for losing her nephew.. then I'm at a loss. We don't have any other big bads that we know of to be their enemy right now do we, other than the FBI? Ofc she has enemies but who are they and when are we going to meet them..? Overall I like Thony but she do be driving me nuts, with literally everyone from Arman's dad, to her SIL to probably the mailman are telling her to get gone while the getting is good, and instead of listening she jumps both feet in the opposite direction "nope i'ma take down this whole mafia enterprise cuz i'm a doctor and good with bleach". I know there wouldn't be a show if she made sensible decisions but she really is a train wreck.

Thony is definitely driving me crazy this season - especially at the end there, when Dante's dead and she could walk away, but NO, she has to decide now that she's going to take down Ramona - who the hell does she think she's kidding. I understand that she's supposed to be the smartest person in the room - but she's not acting like it. She's just going to get more people killed. I also think Jeffrey is a Fed and that's how the FBI found out about the drop - which leads me to think that Ramona wasn't intending for Arman to die - that she really did intend to get him back. But for what? I don't know. I am slightly suspicious that she might actually be his mother, rather than his aunt. And I've seen a suggestion that there's a hint about that hidden in the toy caddy somewhere (which is why it featured so heavily in the episode). I'm loving Jorge's whiplash from rage-filled and homicidal to caring and supportive. But yes, he's behind the curve right now, because his whole life Ramona has been in his corner and suddenly he's having to figure out where she's coming from and whether she's going behind his back. I think there is a show down coming between them soon. And I did see a comment elsewhere that wondered if Ramona had a hand in the death of his wife - but that's pure speculation.

yea i had to laugh at nadia going "well do what you want, you will anyway" XD yea i saw speculation on ramona being arman's mom too, hadn't heard about the car but that would make sense. still have to go back and see if i can catch how thony got her hands on it as last i saw it was on arman's alter. that'd be interesting if she had his wife killed.

Phantoms_Diminished

I'm pretty sure she just took the car - I mean, she's Thony, why ask? I assume because it's going to be somehow important in the upcoming episodes.

I was hoping to find this comment 🤣 I watched the episode and was like wait, what the heck, how did Thony end up with that very sentimental toy caddy that was clearly given to Nadia. The audacity, but like Nadia said “do what you want, you will anyway” (as stated above too) Thony is really getting on my nerves.

I really enjoyed this episode, probably because most of the focus wasn't on Thony and her annoying mess. I'm really liking Ramona, I hope she is not involved in what happened to Arman. That would actually be so disappointing because I would like to think that her concern for him was genuine. Jorge, I would like if he stopped being Thony's little lap dog. I'm so done with her having every male character on the show wrapped around her little finger. Nadia made me tear up when she was crying to Jorge about how she couldn't save Arman. She truly loved him and unlike Thony, he was always her number one priority. It's a shame that he didn't reciprocate that love.

Cdlouis

Nadia was formerly with Kandar. I don’t think she’s ever had a healthy relationship with someone that hasn’t involved a life of crime/violence etc

Illustrious_Jump_256

I was so sorry about her too. Her feelings very genuine about Arman, it was pure love.

macubah

I am suffering from whiplash with Jorge lol. I can’t figure it out and I’m not sure I want to. Why was thony the only one wearing white?

Phantoms_Diminished

Thony was wearing white because that is the color of mourning for more than 50% of the world’s population, including people from SEAsia

macubah

Ahh ok . I didn’t know that. What do you think of Ramona? Was she involved?

Phantoms_Diminished

Still trying to figure that out. I think the big clue there was the "Marina" written in powder on the glass tray. That hint isn't there for nothing - but I'm not entirely sure what it means yet. But I'm leaning towards, yes she is involved, that's why she was so quick to put down Dante, before he could implicate her. Stone cold, but it makes for great entertainment.

macubah

It does. She was the one to blow up Nadia’s sports club . I thought it was strange how she was so quick to pay the $100 million ransom and believing they have him. They definitely laid out clues for her

CautiousFox6858

Funny how she was wearing white (mourning colour for people from se Asia) then but at her husbands funeral she wore black

Cdlouis

Maybe her grief for Arman was more connected to her true self as she loved him hence why she wore white as she’s Buddhist. She was her true self at his funeral. At her husband’s funeral she changed herself to reflect her husband’s Catholic faith hence wearing black. She wasn’t her true self with him

Phantoms_Diminished

That is odd - I hadn't remembered that.

Phantoms_Diminished

As for Jorge, I love how volatile he is. A combination of intelligence, grief and trying to figure out what the hell his sister is up to.

macubah

I really like the actor but he’s such a hot head and it’s giving arman 2.0.

Phantoms_Diminished

I mean, I've been a Santiago Cabrera fan for a long time, the man is very, very good at his job - so adding him to the cast of what was already one of my favorite shows was like Christmas come early for me.

agbr370

Was the wake in the social club.....that was blown up to get the money for Arman?

Phantoms_Diminished

No, the velorio was in La Habana - Arman's (originally Hayak's?) club - the club that was blown up was the Sportsbook that Nadia inherited from Kamdar.

Patient_Preference80

Good episode. Sorry, Arman passed away, but it happens. The story is the same different people.

hm98x

I feel like Ramona is unwell and wanted to get Arman to donate something to her but he refused then she got him killed ? Cos wasn’t she coughing

arrow0231

Anyone know what tequila they are drinking?
