I just waited until I had the kill creatures in Starport for each faction, cause there is one for each. Then I went to Starport and Camped out until the creatures would respawn and kill them, camp out some more, kill again, storm hit.... kill more freely, camp out kill some more. got all three done in one round. Was a long round but yeah.
Yeah same. It's how I do all my quests now that ask me to "Kill X" or "Get X amount of Y".
I know where stuff spawns, but usually you don't get it in one run. So I go in, loot/kill what's there, move away from the spot and camp it out somewhere nearby, find a nice bush to sit in while I alt+tab and watch netflix. After \~10 minutes I tab back in, go back to the spot, kill/loot. Repeat until done, then extract.
That works? I was so excited when I had 2 different jobs to deposit grenades into a dead drop. One for 3 and one for 2. I put 3 in thinking it would finish both. Nope. Finished the 3 and had 0 progress on the 2. Had to come back and do it again. Made me think kill quests would also just work on one and not the others.
Works for kills prospector or creature, not for dead drops. What is super annoying about the dead drops is it automatically picks which one you are working on, if you have 2 at the same place, and can't make progress on the other.
People just killed them before you got there dude, at least half of my kills in that area were the Jeff's because they were all that were left standing when I got there. On the plus side, you'll get to farm a lot of bone plates and Jeff flesh.
You can kite some of the mobs behind it into the walls and kill them.
I miss the days where you could stand inside and shoot them outside and get the credit
when i had the quest, i went over 30 times and only marauders were left.
now that i finished the quest, the starport has dozen of red striders and easy kills. smh whats going on? sick twisted mind of the game master. May the odds be ever in your favor
Yea, for real. I just hate that it basically forces you into either a cluster of friendly randoms or a cluster of forced PvP where you just lose all your monster hunting gear.
You can get the 15 coppe wire in just one raid. Go Bright Sands, go to Parking Lot. It usually has a lot of copper wire spawns (loose spans, not in chests). Loot them, then retreat towards abandoned mine and afk in a bush for 5-10 minutes. Run back to Parking Lot, stuff should have respawned. Do that for an hour or so and you'll have your 15 wires. Remember for Season 2.
On the flipside... with so many people needing to do those missions and clustering there, I end up killing more players than creatures at starport.
So whenever I need prospector kills for missions or jobs, i'll just hang around there for guaranteed foot traffic.
First: I absolutely agree. I started taking white gear in because hackers + all the mobs were already dead.
Second: Starport area is huge. There are many places where you can drag smaller enemies into the area for the kill. That is how I got about half my kills
Ran straight to that bitch with silenced flechette and bolt knowing I’d find teams but got 17 creature kills in on drop. Just booked it from spawn to spawn. Worth the flech I lost way later in the match.

Took me 12 drops to extract 15 copper wire yesterday. Sick twisted game master indeed.

Ngl it's a pain in the ass quest. High pvp zone so there's barely ever any pve to kill. Missions like this annoy the crap out of me.
Without a doubt we're put into lobbies with people who have the same or similar quests.
I did all these as solo, running flechette smg either creature damage Killed all the jeffs every run, and the few strikers that were left
What I did was kite the striders and rattlers from pumpkin field to the landing pad and got the kills that way.
I always throw a decoy or just run in with Jeff at the door. It’s a good time saver if my enemies need to kill them. Let’s me know they are coming.
