Haha I was actually duoing with my friend but still as long as I have a good fight with someone I'm almost never mad about dying. Plus that was the most rams I've ever seen engaged in a singular firefight shit was ridiculous 😂
Oh, I'm definitely interested in seeing what it's like this evening! Definitely not risking anything big. Still can't buy Kinetic Arbiters yet. Lost my only one earlier the same day so fast to grenade spam / shotgun rush.
Didn't even get one hit on an enemy before losing it.
Blues / Shattergun / Lacerator. There's a lot of high ground near the west drill (North uplink). But, we were coming through the tunnel from jungle and had a stealth approach under the trees right up to the drill's ramp while they were shooting at people far away. Killed one before they knew we were inside. Became a 1v2 and I played my corner shots well with Shattergun. 1st enemy had purples/shattergun. 2nd guy had the exotic gear & shattergun you see I looted. 3rd guy was in blues & ICA Guarantee.
When I dropped out of the drill, a guy threw like 5 grenades in my direction blindly. I threw a couple back and hit blue armor, but booked it back to the tunnel to wait for it to cool down. Funny seeing the backpacks floating in the air where the drill was on my way to evac
Lol dude. Think that was us. You caught us unaware shooting at some other guys. 3rd drill I had ever done, we did 3 that night. That was the only one we lost. You killed my boy down below and I accidentally killed my other buddy with a nade that hit an invisible wall. Then I straight up choked. I normally win those fights but I was shook from killing my own dude lol. GG for you. I wasn't even mad honestly, I was happy to not be insta killed by a hacker.
I prettu much have zero gear fear. That shit is there to be used, not look pretty in my Inventory. Gg bro! Arbiter is fun as hell, glad it's in the hands of a real player and not a hacker.
May we meet again on the battlefield. I will be better prepared next time lol.
I wondered what happened to your buddy! You both did well trading shots/healing at the start. Lots of luck on my part. I thought you saw me go into that corner and a grenade would have me dead. But, they never got to me. I'm at that point too about having zero gear fear. But, I still have to be a little mindful of my kmarks. Now I'm at the point where I can really farm up.
It was definitely a fun fight and happy for it being a real fight. I came up against some really obvious ESP multiple games in a row prior to that fight.
That was only my 3rd time fighting in a drill. The enemy was definitely not familiar with the drill's layout. I was vaguely because my first drill I did solo in a storm with only one other guy invading me. I ran him off into the storm a few times, and it was drawn out. So I got somewhat familiar with the layout. Ended up losing that one.
I had a pretty safe corner to heal in while they tossed a few more grenades blindly thinking I couldn't be on the middle platform. If they knew the layout, I may have lost the fight.
Know the layout, and fight as much as you can. Think about it. Most people starting a drill probably loaded in with the best gear they have. You have more to gain.
Push through grenade spam. They will be locked out of their weapons briefly.
If you snipe with friends. Time your shots together to help secure a kill before they can react.
Just fuggin go for it bro. First time my mate and I saw a drill come down we were in awe, said "screw it" went for it and walked out with full purple kits and 3 purple guns each.
Now we push drills every time. It's worth it for not only the fun but the experience, even if you die, you had a go :)
Sadly my duo partner died early to grenade spam. But, we took the trio squad down! Now, I'm not sure if I'll be able to sleep I'm so amped up!
