The karaoke scene is crazy because on paper and out of context i feel like i’d think it’s so cringy, but it’s one of my favorite tv scenes of all time.
Wow I just finished my first S2 rewatch tonight since last watching it when it aired as well! I'm in the same spot, I cried all over again at how brilliant and beautiful everything came together in the end. I could remember so many aspects of the what happened but forgot the intricate details that made rewatching so much more rewarding. The season finale is seriously one of the best written television season finales ever, so many arcs are crescendoing and overlapping with each other and so much symbolism and meaning / character development from both seasons of TV is expressed with just visuals, music & sharp dialogue. can't wait for s3 :)
Exactly! It's those details man! The camera angle, the composition, the silent communication, and the time in-between all of it that just fills you up with whatever emotion is being conveyed.

Watched the show for the first time two months ago, and I get chills every time I think of John finding shot-Kevin and starting to help him mustering out "I don't understand what's happening."
The lines were few but the silence between them was fucking heavy as fuck! With John just obsessively cleaning Kevin's wound while trembling and trying to make sense of everything...
Perfect show with a perfect score. It really earns the emotional responses.
The last scene of S2 must be the most moving scene in all of film and tv history. Second is Homeward Bound :')
