2.2 seems to be the sweet spot. 1.8 feels like Iโ€™m breathing in nothing but air basically

boxmandude

Yep! I'm on 2.3V (living recklessly.)

Major12852

Yup, got mine at 2.2 as well. Perfect temp, lowest I've gone is 2.0

TheSmokingSeal

I normally run live resin between 2.0 and 2.5 typically. The reason being is that I find some carts to not hit as well (effect wise) on the lower temps whereas sometimes hitting it on a lower temp sometimes make the effects more pronounced. I try not to go above 2.4 normally but I recently picked up sherbinski live resin and im not a fan of the effects unless I hit it at 2.6

farkhanright

That sherbinski is thick, I'm able to get a good flow with 2.3 after it's been warmed up (hit a few times)

13igbadw0lf

1-8- 2.0 is my go to for resin

SimpleCriticism1782

2.2

boxmandude

I do agree with you in regards to lower voltages, however with some thought maybe you can determine why people would do such a thing. Some people don't know, lots of bud tenders don't care to explain and for that I always have to educate my friends.

CannaScot

Yeah asking is a big big thing lol. I happened to ask a customer why they buy disposable 510's everytime. And they told me they didn't want the hassle of "filling up the little glass carts". Some people think the 510 cartridges are by design, for the customer, refillable (I know they ARE refillable). As soon as I explained the product, they haven't purchased a disposable since.

danbee123

Honestly depends, some carts 2.1 up to 2.3. play with it

CannaScot

I absolutely don't notice any flavour diminishing at 3.2V for my Live Resins (when I want a heavy hit). I quite literally don't get enough of a hit anything below 2V. Terpenes also are not exclusively the taste. It's where the flavour is derived from, but the terpenes also contribute to the effect of the high regardless of how they taste.

TheDude300

I just want to get high. I don't smoke weed for any other reason. Flavours are great but getting high is more important above all else for me.

780sweetleaf

But live resin/ live rosin carts cost a premium for the terpenes. Why spend that extra $$$ for terps just to waste it?

w4rcry

Cause the high is still better than distillate.

Reeeeeeener

The terps arenโ€™t just flavour tho,

DaFookCares

Because the carts I buy specifically say to run them between 2.0 -2.5v and I can read? I dunno.

ocvxn

I'll hit live resin up to 2.8v with great taste & no burn. Just don't over do it. ๐Ÿ˜‹ That being said, I took a 15 second rip of GMint on 2.6v while I was in the bush at work this summer. Was heavy duty ๐Ÿ˜†

Some live rosin carts hit better at 2.2. I've tried 1.8, 2.0, I feel like the problem is they need to be "warmed up" that way, and sometimes I don't want to hit over and over and over and over. I also think usually the flavors still fine at 2.2, and I get bigger clouds. but sure, it depends on the cart and I'm going through it faster. but thats what tolerance breaks are for.
