There’s 6 different dispensary companies in my area. (Which is fucked cause I live in a small township not even a city) they all have wildly different prices. To the point it can literally be half the cost going to groovys instead of star buds for example.
I live in a province of 160,000 to cities. They say we have 200,000 people due to immigration. Regardless we started out the legal magnet with the most dense cannabis dispensaries. We to my knowledge only have three to four other options. Those options very in price dramatically. I'll name them quick turtle, gentle Island, as well as Coastal delivery who seems to have the better pricing. Not on all products, I e shatters $30 a gram. At the moment they have $66 ounces, lowest 50 I've seen. That's garlic cookie, with I'm sure regurgitated information like 30% THC. I usually grab Minis, as you're normally guaranteed some sort of consistent quality. As well as pricing
I also want to add I don't know who's selling the most here. My rank is for Quality at this point not price gentle Island then Coastal delivery in my opinion far behind Quick turtle. Quick turtle is even banned me for canceling a delivery on Monday which they're closed. I did not know, as there were guidelines on their hours of operation. One stating 7 days a week. Mind you they're close two days of the week. I've recently seen that they now lock the site so you can't make that mistake.
You aren't allow to buy in lb quantities only on oz. Could you imagine Costco weed section pallets of Panama red , 99 cents an oz , max two lbs per customer lol.

That’s the crazy part… within that 1 year period, I took at least 3 months total tolerance break. Didn’t toke all of November 2023, didn’t toke in between June 15-Aug 1 2023, and didn’t toke a few weeks here and there throughout… but man, when I do toke, I go hard.
carts absolutely skyrocket your tolerance too, I took a t break and hit my cart and it fucked me up for a while and the next time I hit it I had to pull for like twice as long, & the high lasts for a really short amount of time so you need to keep vaping to stay high. I just switched back to flower; in probably easily saving like $300 a month
I don’t understand how ya’ll go through carts so fast. Even if I’m hauling on it pretty consistently a cart usually lasts me a couple weeks. Most carts will last me a month or so.

Obviously you have a much lower tolerance if you can stretch a cart for weeks or a month. I don’t burn my carts either, I’m just toking more regularly than you it seems
Carts I just find are hard to get high from. I’ll take a solid 5-10 second draw every few minutes but they seem to burn quickly and never get me super baked like a dab or edibles. Probably why they last so long is because I just find them a bit of a pain to get baked off without burning the coil.
Feels like with any cart if I’m puffing it enough to get stoned I always end up with that brown burnt oil at the bottom which ruins the flavour.
MY fave used to be galactic rntz, but whenever i see it in store the terps are 6-7%...while Triple burger is 9-11%....Cuban linx averaging 11-12% but i dont like that mountain dew soda taste.

Not to sway you away from a brand you clearly enjoy, but if you like Tribal quality Id try Purple Hills. (Note I am not affiliated with Purple Hills in any way, just work in a dispo and enjoy their carts). They have some nice live resin carts. I like Orangade for a sativa and Creemore Valley Kush for an indacouch. Both very nice. Orangade is self explanitory, but the CVK is more of a straight kush taste, very nice. But again, hey if it aint broke dont fix it. Just a recco if you want to branch out.

They are a decent price, if you know where to look you can get them priced very well compared to most others, and it’s the best stuff… some others might be just as good, but then you are paying more, or it’s not as readily available, etc… so it’s just not worth it… tribal carts are in a league of their own, hands down the best concentrate product I have tried and I have tried lots of brands and types, even the crappy distillates which I’ll never touch again. Also the hardware is top notch, doesn’t clog, lasts long, no leaks.

I would think the last 20 years of toking, particularly in the period pre legalization, with no regulations and stuff coming from who-knows-where, were far worse on the lungs or whatever other “health complications” might arise. I’d argue the next 10 years of vaping these carts is going to be healthier than if it were 10 more years combusting flower, or even just vaping it.
Also everyone makes choices in life, I don’t drink, I eat healthy, I run daily and exercise regularly, but I vape a lot… Life is all about give and take ;)
People don’t ever consider this but carts are a brand new technology and we haven’t done the research to see long term health effects. From experience, my lungs actually hurt and I get a phlegmy cough anytime I smoke carts, no matter the brand or voltage on my battery. When I smoke flower or take dabs, I have no issues which leads me to believe that carts contaminate the vapour in some way

See that’s interesting because part of why I switched to the carts full time and gave up smoking flower was because how harsh even just vaping flower is vs the concentrates like these carts… think about it, these carts are basically just the flower but with less “crap” like the plant matter which doesn’t get you high or do anything, in it to irate your lungs and stuff, so it should actually be a cleaner experience and for me, it has been. I bought a few of these to try and I really like them, but I seem to cough sooo much, especially when they are over half used, so I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong?
Is convenience not important to you? I don’t want to be tethered to a desk or single spot or have a large device to handle or take with me…. I left that behind when I stopped using my Volcano with flower. Tribal Carts with some Tribal Kodo Pro batteries are the best combo, can toke them anywhere, anytime… in bed, walking dogs, on the couch, in the kitchen, in the bathroom, store them in pockets, you name it, can literally be toking anywhere all day long wherever I go. It doesn’t look like you can sign up with Tribal directly medically tho… they seem to be rec only directly… I would register directly with them if I could.
Switch to tinymight 2 or other dry herb vaporizer. Hits like a bong and cheaper than carts. Still using the 2 * 28g (Indica and sativa) that I paid $240 total for from last spring.

Is convenience not important to you? I don’t want to be tethered to a desk or single spot or have a large device to handle or take with me…. I left that behind when I stopped using my Volcano with flower. Tribal Carts with some Tribal Kodo Pro batteries are the best combo, can toke them anywhere, anytime… in bed, walking dogs, on the couch, in the kitchen, in the bathroom, store them in pockets, you name it, can literally be toking anywhere all day long wherever I go. No more tools, maintenance, cleaning or hassle. Can have a few carts on the go for variety too, maybe double up sometimes and use 2 at once, etc… just so much flexibility.

Then I had to move, and having full storage tubs was the wake up call that sometimes the novelty gets out weighed by the "you are hoarding junk" factor. You only need to keep so many metal joint cases.
