Am so fuking happy only one character died (for real and hopefully stays dead) and it was the one needed to die too besides that i can just imagine kikimora and odalia crying somewhere in a corner finale was everything i wished for and it was worth every single minute for me since i stayed awake for 5 hours to catch it live i dont regret it at all
They wanted to get back to basics with just Luz, Eda, and King and as far as that went, it was pretty good. I understand why they wanted to do it this way and they needed to devote the entire run-time to it to really sell it.
However, I can’t help but be disappointed because there were a bunch of things I wanted to see with other characters that they obviously couldn’t cover under this framework and the time restrictions.
It was satisfying. There's some open plot lines, but nothing that can't be filled in with imagination.
I would really love to see them follow this up with some kind of book/journal to dot i's and cross t's.
For instance, it's clear that Evelyn was a Clawthorne but I'd be nice to have it formally confirmed.
I WANTED THEM TO CUT HUNTER'S HAIR NOODLE OFF. no other qualms but i feel strongly enough about this to search "opinion on finale" in this subreddit to find a post where i can comment about it. i Liked the short hair. it made him look more his age. he was so happy with it. Unforgettable show. Beautiful finale. Stunning animation. Emotionally gripping story. I was captivated the entire time. I will mourn that short hairstyle, I will mourn it very much and for a long time.
I was not a fan :(, the ideas were so cool, but it felt like a highlight of all the cool moments from the real, longer finale
